Amazing Service and Great Deals! I had an excellent experience! Angie helped me find exactly what I needed a computer and monitor and she gave me an amazing deal that I couldn t pass up. Very nice place compared to other pawn shops. Great selection and good people. Ive had to get a couple loans here and they were fair and professional and very informative especially the lady who helped me pay in my loan recently because I thought I could just pay towards the principal so I dont owe as much but she caught that and told me I would just be buying myself more time and that was not my intention so rather than waste 200 paying for time I didnt need she told me I had until the 12th to pick it up for 400 so I kept my 200 and Im very happy she caught that and explained it to me before I wasted half the money I had saved to recover my ring. Also huge gun and jewelry selection and you wont find a cleaner more organized pawn shop!

As far as pawn shops go, this place is top of the line. Prices are always highly competitive. Great customer service from the staff. One thing that will set this place apart from the others. It is always clean, and the items are clean. Ive been traveling pawn shops for a long time and that little extra they do by just keeping it clean makes a world of difference to me. It shows pride in what they are selling. I do want to emphasize the staff is always friendly, even when they are crazy busy. Ive found some crazy good deals, and they have helped me find a couple unique items I was looking for. They are always my first stop when looking at pawn shops.

I stopped in minutes before closing looking for a low budget bicycle to take me dog on runs. The bikes on the floor were well above my budget but Kyle helped me find a bike and brought the price down significantly to fit my budget. Kyle and everyone working there were very nice and gave me excellent customer service. I could overhear the other two employees helping other customers, and they were receiving the same level of service as I was. I will definitely be back again soon!

UPDATE - New ownership for 2024 and they are no longer accepting FFL transfers!! Unfortunately this has not been updated on the website yet so I have to repay for shipping on an FFL transfer I had planned to conduct through TP&J. Bummer as the $25 transfer fee was the main reason I would visit. Still great people working here and a nice establishment, but now that the FFL transfer service is gone I likely wont be visiting anymore. I hear Watermark Arms just up the road is a good spot, so Ill be going there in the future.

I have been dealing with all three locations of Texas Pawn and Jewelry since their inception and they are my new & used Gun, Bass Guitar & Amplifier Store... but mostly Gun Store. Troy has assembled a top notch team of management and staff who are are well trained, product knowledgeable and always willing to help you. That means service; a rare commodity in our time. The real beauty here is because they are a pawn shop and can make loans, you can put money down and layaway new or used guns, or anything else for that matter. This is really great for those who get paid daily or work for tips and dont often have a large sum of cash in their hands but often have a bit. I am one of those. Dont wait, go there now. Do some Christmas shopping while you are there, they have tons of great, lightly used and new stuff. Jewelry, as the name implies, electronics, loads of tools of every type, cowboy boots & hats, firearms, bows, other sporting & hunting goods, musical instruments, lawn mowers, generators, pumps, ladders, bicycles, kids electric ride-on toys ... they have it all. Check them out; youll be glad you did.

This was a really nice pawn shop, I got a watch almost $150 off from a brand new one, and its working great! The only bad thing is that some of the things are overpriced, especially the tools and musical section, but other than that, I would recommend this over any other Pawn shop

My personal experience the one time I went there to find microphones. Found 2 at a good price and at check out they literally swapped price tags on one of the mics bringing up the price by about 30$. It was priced wrong, they said. I bought the one they didnt change the price on just cause it was urgent at the time, but shouldnt have given them my money.

I walked in to Texas Pawn and Jewelry after reading other reviews.... and I am so happy I did. They have a great selection in a handful of categories. (Electronics, tools, kitchen accesories, handbags, etc.) From when I walked in there, to seeing how they took the time to help each and every individual... was the reason I came back twice in one week. Pawning and Selling can feel so judgemental and rushed. David took the time to help me get to the goal I was trying to achieve for my loan. Thank you again Texas Pawn and Jewelry!! You will not find a better Pawn Shop than Texas Pawn & Jewelry! I used them several years ago for some loans then recently needed a loan. My husband whod not been around back then asked why are we driving further were passing pawn shops left and right. I told him, because I have one Ive used and really like so no need to try another with uncertainty.... Today they proved once again why I will never go anywhere else! Last day of grace, no vehicle to get up there, needed more time to pay loan in entirety and was expecting to just be SOL. BUT NOPE! They made my day, Thank you specifically to Zach (hope I got the correct spelling)! He was the one asking me what he/they could do to help me out and to my surprise everything will work out. This business and the employees are phenomenal! And on a side note, its the first good piece of news/event Ive had in a hot minute that was positive and it has helped lift a little bit of the gloom Ive been feeling and made me so happy and smile today! My wife and I made a little stop to check out what kind of hand guns they had in the store. We were greeted by Shawn Bean who proceeded to take the time to explain the differences in each of the firearms for my wife he took the time to answer questions I had regarding some rifles they had as well. Shawn has a fantastic familiarity with each of the items they have in stock. It was a very comfortable experience and at no time did we feel pressured into buying something we didn t want. I am sure that the rest of the stuff in the shop is worth the price but wasn t there for that so I couldn t tell you. If you are looking for either new or used guns and don t know where to go, go here. But not Wednesdays. Shawn takes that day off. Thanks again Shawn!

I walked in to originally look through hand tools, I didn t see anything that caught my eye until I noticed that not a soul was wearing a mask! I was going to walk out without spending money prior to this discovery. It reminded me of a country I used to know so I bought 3 Mags and all the 223 ammo I was allowed per store regulations 5 stars all day! Brad was very helpful. I will be returning weekly joined by some friends and family. Keep it up guys!!

Top notch pawn shop. I ve mostly browsed here, purchased only a couple small items. But the store is well kept, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the inventory isn t junk. I recently did an FFL transfer from an online firearm purchase at Texas Pawn and Jewelry....they called me to let me know my package arrived a couple minutes before I even got the delivery notification from the shipper themselves. They were super quick to provide their required info to the supplier in the beginning as well. Thank you Texas Pawn and Jewelry for being on top of your game.

I had never been into a pawn shop prior to coming into this place. I was taken back by the way I was treated. As soon as I walked in the door I was immediately greeted and felt at ease. As a musician I have bought gear for years from pawn shops all over Texas. I will never do business or recommend anyone do business with the shady management at the leander location. A complaint with the BBB and the state will follow. I put a guitar on layaway with the required 20% down they told me and the paper work indicated I have 6 months to pay off the balance as long as I make a payment each month. When time for the payment came I came in to drop $10 on it because I was planing on picking it up before the next date and just needed to put something on it. Since the paper work nor the broker ever told me there was a minimum payment amount I assumed the $10 would be ok as long as I payed the full amount by the 6 months. The manager helped me and told me that the $10 wasnt enough for them to keep the item on layaway because they didnt charge for layaway, I asked ok so whats the minimum amount; hes said there is no minimum but $10 wasnt enough. This moron kept this loop up saying that just because the legal document doesnt say theres a minimum payment I should not assume there isnt (thats shady if thats how texas pawn works). He kept telling me other people charge for layaway. Who cares man Im your customer and you failed me. He got all smug when I ask if he was the manager with the skills to chase business away like that he needs to be demoted. No customer service skills, shady business practices, and just plan dumb. I demanded my deposit back and will go spend my money elsewhere.

Great selection of firearms and fair prices. Some of them can be a little above what you should pay, but when you become a regular customer I am certain that you will get an excellent bargain from time to time. They also seem to get some used firearms that are not usually not seen in the local market much so that is a definite plus and minus. Minus because if I see it, I am so tempted to buy! Great customer service and they all seem very friendly.

Very disappointed! I found this shop awhile back and liked the gun selection they had and looking at prices they were very fair. I purchased a gun, sold a gun, put 2 on layaway (I m not a fan of racking up CCs). I bought one of the two that were on layaway. However I put 200$ down on the second gun which was just over 50%. Clearly at the time I was in serious consideration of this firearm. Turns out I did after all change my mind and I went in and asked about getting my money back to which they replied no refunds. He claimed bc the gun was held for me it couldn t be sold to anyone else. Anyone who knows anything about inventory and cost of overhead for stocking items knows that it part of the risk of investment in holding items to sell. Whether that gun would have sold or not, you offer layaway as an additional tool to help generate sales. He offered for me to put it towards something else and I said there was nothing I wanted at the time and I m only interested in guns from your establishment. So I asked how long the credit would be good bc in the next few months to a year I might use it towards another gun. He said no, I had one more week (when first payment was due) to pick something and apply it towards that of which I d of had to co to use my payments. I asked for just a penalty like a restocking fee for the trouble, 20$ or something and he said no. Even Walmart only has a layaway flat fee for cancellation of 10$. He talked to the manager and said no. I was so upset I finally just told the guy keep the damn 200$ if it s truly that important to you. I m a 100% disabled Iraq Veteran on fixed income and I still find ways to donate to people in need. Piss Poor example of taking care of a customer, the absolute least they could do is warn people no returns on layaway items.

This place is garbage. Sold me a counterfeit knife knowing it was counterfeit. The knife was broken but was a benchmade which honor a life time warranty. I sent it to benchmade and they destroyed it. The salesman told me if it wasnt broken it would have a 300 dollar price tag on it. So that means they would have sold me a counterfeit for 300? And now im out a knife and money. Still looking into counterfeit laws. I will do my best to get my money back!!!!
