On Sunday we went to eat honestly, the food we always love, we loved the treatment that one of the managers gave us, I dont remember what her name was, but she was really friendly and helpful, supporting our waitress with giving us what we needed, it was very nice to see that she was supporting our waitress. the employees that way will definitely go again.

On Sunday I went to eat with my family and we really loved all the food, it was great, but the service was terrible more than anything, hearing one of the waitresses express herself so badly about the customers, we couldnt pay attention to what the reason was for it. who said so many rude things but she was a very tall woman, we really appreciate the service they provide us but for those who work as waiters, if they are going to express themselves with those vulgarities or they are going to bring more humor, they should hire people who even want to serve and not complain why so many people are there or why they dont stay at home.

Just got home and my 13yr old son told me he went into the restroom and saw one of the employees spit a loogy on the floor in the stall and just walk out without washing his hands!!!! That s disgusting and unacceptable! Especially if he ends up being a cook handeling food! He even said the men s restrooms were dirty and nasty!

As far as the Chinese Buffet goes, there are not a lot of varieties. The food is so so. There are more Sushi roll varieties, but mostly the Philadelphia cheese combinations. No desserts except for Chinese donuts and no ice cream. If you are the kind that gladly pays for service and atmosphere, perhaps this place is for you. For the price they charge, I wasnt impressed.

I came on the weekend and ordered a combo number 2 through the drive thru and the girl who served me named Lucero told me that I couldnt order the sushi I wanted because it was only fried or sewn. Its a shame how the quality of this place has gone down!! The terrible food before was delicious and now the terrible quality apart from that you have to wait for the food to be restocked and the restaurant manager without paying attention. ll you can eat for under $20 its such a great deal and thats including one soft drink and believe me, food is so great that your drink is going to be the last thing youll consume. Place is very nice, saw familys there too, food is superb its one of the best places youll find in McAllen. Its a no brain if you live in McAllen or just visiting by to go there and have such a wonderful time. I cant wait to return there. The only thing I must admit is that I didnt go to the bathroom so I have no idea of how clean they keep them or the amenities you could find in there but I assure you that if youre looking for a place to have a wonderful meal and spend time with friends or loved ones this is the right spot for you.

Regret not taking pictures but I was more focused on filling my belly . We found Kurai by chance, wasn t looking to eating Chinese but as we pulled over to google where to eat I spotted this place and went inside to check out their buffet. Needless to say we stayed and ate well. They have a variety of options but everything I ate was perfect, only wish the food was a tad warmer. I had 2 plates of the Kiso soup, shrimps, gyoza, vegetable tempura, shrimp fried noodles, orange chicken, spring rolls, some sort of crab pasta salad, left sushi for last because honestly I haven t found a proper sushi place yet so only had 3 pieces. They have a big selection but didn t try it all. For desert I had fried donuts, fried banana with coconut and a bit of banana cream pudding but they also had rice pudding, some fruit and jello. I loved the decor and the service as everyone was super friendly. Prices just as advertised $14.99 for adults and $6.99 for under 8yo plus an additional $2.50 per person for drinks (if you pay by credit card they charge you a 2.5% credit card fee).

Some were mushy too if your just going for the sushi please for the love of god just go to coast they have good sushi there. Also the crab puffs, the little balls tasted very very odd and weird.
