Destination Soul Food is a culmination of flavors and recipes passed down for generations. Originating from South Carolina and then sharpened and cultivated in New Jersey. Two cousins came together to deliver a different cuisine to South Texas, more specifically to the Rio Grande Valley (RGV). Na'eem Hasan (Chef Na from New Jersey) learned how to cook from his step-dad. Pamela Woods (Chef "Da Queen" from South Carolina) learned from her mother. Na'eem and Pamela discovered they both shared a passion for cooking and decided to create and share their soulful family recipes. These bold spice mixtures and flavors have been the centerpiece of their family for years and will be the same for many families in Rio Grande Valley. Come Feed Your Soul!

Took my kids to look at the Christmas decorations and on the way to the truck a gentleman said he had had lollipops for my girls, then even though they were closed he offered to open up of we were interested. We took him up on the offer. During the wait he gave the girls Popsicles. We brought the food home to eat and it went above expectations the chicken was amazing my kids cant stop ranting about it. This location will definitely be a new regular spot for us. Thank you for your amazing customer service and they great food.
