You will notice certain details (like the balls being exceptionally pristine due to the staffs wonderful habit of cleaning them straight right after guests are done [a simple process, you just have to do it, youd be surprised how easy it is]), that make this a pool players type of place. They have 3 diamonds (wow ), a few more brunswicks, and about 4 or so carom tables, which is more than Ive ever seen in one place round ere tbh. I respect Docs by that regard. To reinforce this point, they make a dang good drink , and everything else is well above expected levels as far as service or anything else a bar would offer. So its a good break from the normal pace of nightlife, from a McAllen perspective at least.

1st visit in well over 15 years, the place doesnt seem to have changed much in a very long time. Although the outdoor temperature was in the 50s, the indoor temperature was very uncomfortably HOT and STUFFY. It made our visit very uncomfortable, and we only played 3 games before we had to walk out. I probably wont be returning anytime soon, and I would not recommend it to anyone else.

Nice chill spot, was pretty empty when I got there with my husband. Bar lady was nice and makes her drinks delicious. Tables are clean and well taken care of. Drinks and beers served nice and cold.

A very good entertainment place, just the service, nothing more, they dont have waitresses, they take a long time to serve you and thats very annoying because they dont serve you quickly.

The owner did not accept the consular license plate as identification because according to him they seemed fake despite having the face of a fucking Mexican. First and last time I go there. And just so you know, Im bigger than the girls who work there.

I actually was enjoying my night until they called last call and everybody was leaving and in the parking lot there was a big ass fight with a bunch of guys and females. the owner didnt even care because I felt like it was his family. Just too much to drink I guess not really a safe place to enjoy yourself.
