Great place near the movie theater. I was pleasantly surprised especially with the cleanliness. The wasn t terrific but the service was excellent and the rest of our food was pretty good. If you re looking for a sports bar or place to wait before a movie with the fam highly recommend. It s very clean, food is good, & staff is attentive.

This was our first visit to Parry s and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is nice and the gluten free pizza is amazing! Our server Andrea/Andy was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like serving us was a pleasure and not an imposition. She was also very attentive and thoughtful, suggesting that we could split the pizza we ordered into two types we were torn between ordering, checking with the kitchen about allergy concerns, asking questions about what was needed in terms of kitchen prepping to ensure I was safe, and offered to go drinks. If you ve not visited yet, make sure you stop by and ask for Andy! You won t be disappointed! Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free pizza and if you get the artichoke dip with carrots and no wontons it is safe as well!

Pizza was very fresh, delicious, hot. Wings have a delicious flavor. We got Buffalo medium that werent too spicy or mild, but just right. Our server Christy was very attentive and courteous. Update: 8/19/24 - We decided to try lunch combo and it was great! We ordered handheld Stromboli and different sides, mine was 3 chicken wings. Service was great too! 7/5/24 - This is a great place to get pizza and a drink! They have some different types of specialty pizza or build your own pizza. We tried Soho Veggie and New Mexican Yankee pizza and a kid s pepperoni pizza, which came with a drink and ice cream for dessert. Both pizzas were great, not sure which one was better. The crust was good, crunchy end and thin enough which doesn t overpower the ingredients of the pizza. The Happy Hour margarita was a big size, frozen or on the rocks, and tasty! The selection of beers was great, family tried several different flavors.

I ve eaten once here with my family and we loved the food. Today we went again and we were left standing there waiting to be seated. My father inlaw asked a waitress if someone could seat us and she told him I guess I ll seat you . My in-laws started walking a little ahead of her while my husband, kids and I walked on the side of her and she then says I guess you know where you re sitting . We decided to leave because of how rude she was. My husband then tells me the same waitress gave him and his coworkers the same rude interaction. I couldn t see her name tag but she was a light, skinned chubby lady with very dark black eyeliner. I know description could be anyone but that lady should not be working at a restaurant if she does not like to interact with the public. Food is good, that bitter waitress was not.

NOT YO MOMMA S MARGHERITA Make is seem like it would be the best Margherita ever. Sadly the basil was very lacking.. hardly any on it at all. Not every bite even had 1 of the toppings other than cheese. I liked the crust. Cheese quality was good. But definitely needs work on pizza presentation and dispersion of toppings as well as not skimping on the toppings that make a pizza special and unique. The Buffalo wings are good but I would suggest to ask for extra sauce. Parm frys arent bad except the parm was not fresh parm. Might well open a bottle of Kraft parmesan. But it did tast good. The service was very good. Kept the drink refilled and checked on us often. I wish I would have taken a photo. Im sure little will change as the know many will go here for lack of options. But I hope for care of customers and honestly they do change some on quality and quantity in regards to pizza toppings that they charge a great deal for.

Honestly, the food and the atmosphere are excellent The service leaves a lot to be desired, it is the first time we come and I hope to come again and the service is more attentive. One of the dishes we ordered arrived when we asked for the bill, before that the waiter asked my husband if his food had already arrived . Before that I asked for a second refill of my drink and it never arrived the waiter even walked by and didnt bring the drink. The starter was brought halfway through our plates. Although my husband ordered his food some time later, it took almost 30 minutes and they werent even the wings, they brought him bounless The waiter told my husband that his dish was free and of course he didnt accept it, we came to have dinner here because they recommended the restaurant to us, not because they gave us free dinner. I understand the detail but it was not necessary. I hope you take the opinion into account and do not delete it, because I will post it again.

This is MY experience,firs of All if you are on the heavy side like me ,im just going to tell you that the sitting part is very uncomfortable cause i barely fit my stomach was squished because theres a small space between the table and the bench, they are chairs around the bar if you are going with group,not family lol The food was ok, the portions are big and the prices not to bad.Service is pretty good.

We had made reservations by putting ourselves on the waitlist that was done online about 20 minutes before arriving and it gave us a 15-20 minute window for the wait list. So when we arrived we gave our name and they were very confused and said oh yeah the online thing and then proceeded to tell us to go ahead and stand to the side and it would be about 15 minutes. After waiting about 20 minutes, other people that had come after us were already getting seated, and we just left. Not sure if the online waitlist is buggie, but kind of just ruined the experience

Parry s launched in 2007 as a New York-style pizza joint that was great for a quick bite and perhaps a beer or a glass of wine. Our reputation for craveably crafted pizza, wings and calzones at a family-friendly value quickly became known around town! And I must say I am amazed that I got to have a little taste of New York, in Texas. With a wide variety of beer on tap! Not much of a drinker anymore, but if it s one thing I love is beer & pizza! I stopped by today and was amazed at the facility. I had been a few times before with my family. But this time I decided to pick up pizza for my family at home after church. Quality time, with my family while enjoying QUALITY FOOD! Upon leaving, Caleb handed me my order with a smile on his face. Keep hustling Caleb, dont lose motivation in what you do! Just keep hustling! I hope you make it one day, make your family proud! Glad to say my experience is a 10/10! The manager running the facility is doing an amazing job keeping his employees happy! Happy to say, I ll be eating Parry s again! My kids, enjoyed their kids pizza also! Thanks for keeping them happy! Towards the end of the conversation with the manager, we share one thing and one statement in common. The world right now, needs more leaders, not managers. Food: Took 45 minutes for cold food. Wings were cold. I sent back the wings and asked for fresh wings to be cooked. They sent back the same wings with sauce this time. We knew they were the same because they accidently sent back our same dressings. Manager finally came by took the wings and sent us huge wings. They were so big we couldn t eat them. They looked like chicken wings on steroids. My daughter ordered fettuccine and it came with no sauce. They sent back the fettuccine with the sauce scoop on top. My daughter did not like the pasta. It was dry. She is 7 and usually not picky. Service: waitress was hardly seen. She came by every 20-30 minutes. We usually come to Parrys and have great food and service. It was quite disappointing to have this experience. Manager name was Brian and waitress name was Kayla.

I wanted to see what the fuss was about, and I will not be coming back for the following reasons: #1 The pizza is not that great. No joke, my jaw was hurting after a few minutes of chewing. The crust is tough. I dont know how to explain it, but it doesnt break apart well in the mouth. #2 $25 for one pizza when I can get two for that price that taste even better does not make sense. I ordered a side of fries, and that was a joke. Super small portion and definitely not worth what they charged. I totally regret not taking a picture. My wife had a salad with four pieces of chicken for $13. She said Chick-fil-A salads are better and less expensive. The service was good, and the place looks nice, nothing special. I will not come back for pizza that doesnt even have pizza sauce and with a crust that makes your jaw sore. Im not sure if the reviews are real because the pizza is mediocre at best.

First time here! We came to celebrate my sister-in-laws BD. We arrived at 7:00PM on a Saturday night and thought that we would have to wait to be seated because of the time and weekend, but we were seated right away, it helps that this place is spacious enough and has outdoor seating as well. Our waitress was great, her name is Esmer. We had the New Mexican Yankee, the Five Boroughs pizza, wings, uptown mozzarella, and Italian nachos. Love it! The servers came and sang Happy BD to my sister-in-law. We liked the atmosphere and we never felt like we were being rushed out once we finished our dinner like other places usually do. Esmer still checked on us even after we had already paid our bill. We stayed another hour just talking and catching up with family and friends. And they even opened the door for you when arriving and leaving! I highly recommend this place!

Andy was an amazing waitress! She had the privilege of serving us this evening after her coworker, Ollie (who failed to wear a name tag that day), gave me an attitude because I asked for our table to be cleaned properly. I was fully ready to leave because I wouldn t spend a PENNY under those circumstances . Which is not to mention the discrimination I received by the hostess at the door because she mistook my Service Dog for a PET without having the decency to ask, and informed my family and I that we could only be seated outside LOL WRONG. (I don t recall her wearing a name tag either). ANYWAYS, Andy offered BEAUTIFUL SERVICE! She was so humble, helpful, and deeply kindhearted! Being served by someone who truly LOVES their Job, is a pure Godsend, esp when you struggle with a mental health disorder. She even displayed empathy by giving helpful insights on the menu and really getting the most from our outing as a family. She UNDERSTOOD that we WANTED to TIP WELL and FULLY ENJOY our EXPERIENCE. That, is PRICELESS! The best part of the night, was watching our hard earned money land up into the hands of another hard worker! God bless. Also, very notable guidance to the staff, from the manager. Customer conflict resolution was their focus and for that reason, we MAY eat here again in the future. That, is how a business STAYS in business. I recommend changes in the staffing, eliminating workers who are not passionate in their field and gracing the environment. Food was good, BUT service was ugly. I sat at the bar and our service was terrible because of the bartender we had, she had dirty blonde hair I should ve gotten her name but that s how much she avoided us, she was so rude, she didn t come to check on us if we needed anything or drink refills. I had to cancel my salad because it never came out while the other food did. she would ignore us purposely that I had to flag her down to get her attention everytime I needed something. The one time she did ask us if we needed anything she didn t even wait for us to respond and left. there was another bartender that was there with red hair and she gave us better service & was a lot more friendly/down to earth.

I got the Hot Alfredo pasta which seemed to be made fresh and that s a plus on my books. The sauce was a tad on the runny side but the pasta made it balance if that makes any sense, on that note I gave it a 7.5 out of 10. I also had a side of wings, I let the server choose my flavor and she opted for hot garlic . The wings were small, greasy and lukewarm but they did have strong peppery taste. The wings were not the best to say the least, earning them a 5.5 out of 10. In addition, I only paid $14.05 not including tip so I guess it was fine service was substandard overall rating in my opinion 6.5 out of 10. I am not sure if I would come again

Went to the one in Brownsville and had the best experience so I brought my partner to the one in Pharr. It was both our first time in Pharr and it was AWFUL. My service was awful. It wasn t busy but my sever never checked on us. Didn t bring us straws or napkins. Our food was cold. I asked for a to go order for my grandma. Couldn t even get her bone less wing right. Ordered a pepperoni pizza, some fried pickles and a couple of beers. Pizza was ok, I didnt think it was anything special but it was good. The only thing that they forgot was the fried pickles, they brought them out after I had my meal. The manager came and apologized and gave us some samples of their beer on tap. Other than that everything was great. The place is pretty new, pretty sure they will get everything ironed out. I would recommend you try out this place for yourself. I will go again.

Went to parrys because they carry my beer. The bartendress told me if I ordered before 4 I would get a discount on food. I had their burger. It was small, with a thin pattie like a junior jumbo jack from Jack in the box. And it was 10$ for it, and I didnt get my discount. Nice place for a beer, but not a hamburger.

My first experience at parrys, sat at the bar. While the other bartenders were busy and saw me no one approched me except Amber. Even though being busy she acknowledged me saying she will be right with me. Amber was amazing. She always went out of her way to make sure i had a great first experience. Ambers energy and smile is definitely intoxicating. Being a chef iv been to alot of restaurants that dont give me that welcoming feeling as iv felt with her. Always attentive no other person came to us and asked if everything ways ok. Food was ok.. but because of ambers serves i will be back. I highly recommend asking for Amber the bartender!

Ive had an eye on Parrys since it opened. Pizza...wings...and over 70 beers on tap... my type of destination! Unfortunately...it failed to live up to my expectations. I took my family...mind you 7 of us with everyone included. We were sat I guess in the large family area...which is fine. The booth was spacious and every one was comfy. Why the 3 stars...better yet, let me rephrase the question, why were 2 stars lost? Because of the service. Ill admit, the waitress (I do remember her name but I wont name her) was friendly, but very absent. Im not sure if it was simply too much for her, since one waitress was assigned to such large tables (7-8 people each), or if it was simply her. When we were sat...it took about 5-7 mins for her to come by to take our drinks. After placing the order for our drinks...maybe another 10-12 mins for the drinks to arrive. The waitress said I could get a sample of a beer from the beer menu...I received the sample maybe 20 mins later. Here was the kicker...we ordered our food. I ordered a kids pizza for my 5 yr old son, with ranch. When the food started coming out, the brought my sons pizza first. A different waitress came to drop it off. I noticed there was no ranch and asked if she could please bring the ranch. She simply nodded... turned...and walked away. Did she bring the ranch? You can figure it out...but my son waited around for another 10 mins for some ranch to be brought out by our regular waitress. Ill be clear on this...the food is bomb here. The Knickerbocker bread... perfect appetizer to start. I had the wings...loved the Hot BBQ wings. Perfect pairing of sweet with heat. I do wish the wings were piping hot...I think they were held back a little while they waited on the other entrees. Amazing beer menu...I love when places list what type of beer your are drinking, along with its ABV. Parrys is only one of 2 that I know of with such a great beer menu. BUT...when you have bad service, it will always leave a bad taste in your mouth when you leave, regardless of how tasty the food was. And one more tidbit... I had ordered a Skyline IPA. After we had already paid the check...the same waitress who ignored me on the ranch, came by with an IPA in hand and asked me if I had ordered a Skyline. I told her I had and it was already brought to me and drank. Jokingly I told her she could leave it...she just nodded her, not one word to me...walked off with it. Guess what the bar would do with it when she brought it back...? Im pretty sure they were just going to toss it... Great atmosphere... dynamite food... unfortunately lacking in service during my experience. Will I be back... probably, but I definitely wont be bringing my family here.

First time at parrys earlier today. They lunch specials caught our attention and we gave it a go. They had a variety of item combos for 10 bucks. I got the beef dip sandwich Perrys way which came with the spicy peppers with salad and the wife got the personal pizza with wings as her side in her combo. Pizza size for a personal was a good size. Extensive beer taplist as well. Our waitress was nice and the food came out in a pretty timely matter. Food overall was pretty good. Can I say Ill be here weekly not sure yet but if Im in the area Ill definitely consider coming in every once in a while. Worth it do stop by!

Party of 4. Sat in a booth.. the environment was clean with nice-looking, inviting ambiance. We ordered 2 large pizzas .. nothing really great about the pizza. But just ok, for a new York style. Floppy with no cheese pull or crisp to the crust. Andy was our server . Very attentive to our needs and answered every question we had. Overall a good experience. Not because of the food but because of the new York stylized parlor and great service provided by everyone.

I made reservations for a party of 9 around 3pm, just for them to tell me they didn t have seating available. Umm excuse me? My family and I ended up sitting where the garage doors were; 4 people inside while 4 people on the opposite side outside. This area was WAY to high for a high chair (that we needed) so they gave us a booster seat. This was a nightmare. NIGHTMARE. The music was SO FREAKING LOUD we could barely heard each other and had to repeat ourselves to each other multiple times. Aside from that, the food was good and the service was good, but I have no plans on going again anytime soon.
