Updating to 5 Star: The owner did reach out to me right away and fix my concern. She did not hesitate to send me a refund and apologize for the misunderstanding. She was very professional and nice. I would give it 5 stars because the food is really good and worth the 20min drive but very disappointed. I placed an order for pick up through doordash and paid $47. So come to pick it up and they ask for my card again me thinking they needed it to verify or something so handed it to her. I get home just see they charged me again as if it was a new order. Since it was already after 2p and it was closed I came back today and see they dont open again until Wednesday. Tried calling leaving a voicemail just so the recording to say I cant leave one. I just want my money back and Ill change to 5 star because that is what this restaurant deserves.

Ordered combo #1 which comes with 1kg of barbacoa and 32oz of menudo along with tortillas, salsa, cebolla, cilantro and two can drinks. Y el menudo pero bien sabroso. This was my first time here and definitely coming back. The place is small with not much room to sit and enjoy your meal but that didnt stop them from offering good service. Great place to pickup some grub for the fam on a Sunday morning. Parking: Not much room for parking but street parking is definitely an option

Ordered cachete... they gave us greasy tounge.. The carnitas are ok. But I dont need a 1/4 lb of fat when you sell me my 1lb of carnitas. There are plenty of other restaurants that have much better quality food. I dont need to recommend them. Theyre out there. This is not one of them.

Came in from out of town on a business trip and we were skeptical about trying this place but let me tell you their food is one of the best I have tried, from their barbacoa to their menudo! It was great and their service was exceptional!!! A+++++

Ive been here several times in the last few months and the barbecue is always very clean and doesnt have a lot of fat like other places Ive been to. Its practically all meat and always delicious. The only reason this isnt a 5 star review is because on two different occasions weve paid for 2lbs of tongue barbacoa and both times weve been given regular barbacoa. We live too far to call and go back, so each time weve served that to our family. We have visited several times in recent months and the barbecue is always very clean and does not have a lot of grease like other places. It is almost pure meat and always delicious. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is because on two occasions we have ordered and paid for 2lbs of tongue and they have slapped us. We live too far away to call and return.

OMG. The BEST barbacoa i have ever tasted. It is a small place but since they specialize in barbacoa, they really have a great flavor. Most definitely recommend this place. One thing I would suggest to the owner is to include cilantro with the barbacoa order. Not sure if they do but on my purchase I only got onions salsa and lemons. I definitely like cilantro with my barbacoa. But over all I am super happy with the flavor of the barbacoa.
