Food was delicious, totally forgot about the picture but took one after the first bite. Both Chilaquiles were really good, the salsas are really good also and the coffee was good it had cinnamon like traditional cafe de la olla . One thing that might make it better is for the portions to be bigger since you are paying to add extras that usually should come included in the plate but instead the portions given are small.

There is nothing else I can say but to recommend El Itacate in Pharr, TX. As soon as we walked in we were greeted, the lady taking the order was very patient with us while thinking what to choose from their menu. The food came out and was very delicious. The ladies here were very nice and attentive. Great customer service! El Itacate in Pharr is a place I will visit for sure again.

The best chilaquiles without a doubt, and the chicharrón that the rekete brings 100/10 If you order dessert, order the sugar gorditas with snow, its worth it! The wait was not even 5 minutes and they gave us a table. I didnt ask the name of the girl who helped us but we were very grateful to her for her attention

El Itacate offers an exceptional and authentic dining experience. The food is not only delicious but beautifully presented. My husband and I are especially fond of the chilaquiles en salsa verde, and the pan de elote is a must-try dessert. The service is consistently top-notch, making every visit a delight.

My sister misspoke while ordering. They thought it was necessary to go back and reprint our itemized reciept to tell us that it was our fault an item was made wrong. I wouldve been happy to pay for an extra plate. Im not sure who on your management team made the poor cashier attendant come over and tell us that, but they obviously need to work on their customer relations. The food was decent, but not worth the hassle over a small hiccup.

I was just in this place It was the first time I invited my husband to eat there and the little girl Marely attended us in a very derogatory way to begin with Just because you see people dressed in a certain way doesnt make you wrong. Little girl treats the person in the same way, sometimes those people have more than those who are clean... And when they ask you about the food, answer. Is that what you are for...? I dont think they pay you to see clients bad... Be careful, the others are kind..!! As far as we notice

I have been coming to this restaurant since they first opened and the food is still just as delicious and authentic. Chilaquiles Requetes are the best chilaquiles in the valley! They are bathed in a delicious green sauce, accompanied with black beans, shredded chicken, egg to taste, avocado and pressed pork rinds. You have to try it!

Best chilaquiles Ive ever had in the whole valley. I would always get chilaquiles if I was visiting in Mexico just because I couldnt find that authentic taste here. Until now. Highly recommend! Their online seating is also EXTREMELY convenient! Food came out quickly at the perfect edible temperature. Also, tasty café de olla! I did initially take it to go because it was during a rush hour with a possibility of eating in if there was a table available. A table cleared out before my meal was out so I was still able to sit and enjoy my meal.

I visit this place ONCE a week (sundays) Today I messed up and order green chilaquiles instead of red ones. I literally got 1 bite, trying to eat them to avoid the hassle of changing them, but honestly did not like the flavor. Long story short, told me I couldn t change them. I honestly did not expect this answer. So disappointed. This was my favorite place but definitely will not be back.

This is a must visit restaurant. The chilaquiles are some of the best. Their chilaquiles Reketes is delicious, one of the best Ive had. This plate is chilaquiles with choice of salsa ( green/red), chicharon prensado, 2eggs and shredded chicken and side of avocado. They also offer a smaller portion of this dish. Sitting was not limited when I came here, hut it has been known to have a waiting list. The French toast and built your own egg scrambles are good. This is a place you must come out of your way to visite. I have not had lunch menu yet.

Summary: Chilaquiles too sweet, huge portions with alot of chips. High prices, the chicharon felt reheated and was unflavoraful. The fattyness of it combined with sweeet chilaquiles sauce was a bad combination. Small tortillas, *they are extra*. Very fresh looking place. A hint of modernity with cultural objects like chickens and art. Definitely an interesting eye piece. I ordered chilaquiles with a water of Cucumber and lime. The cucumber lime water is not overly sweetened but also does not have much flavor, but very refreshing. At first taste the sauce is a little too sweet. The more you eat the more sweet it turns. Not bad. Just not awesome. Would like an indicator on spice levels. Portions are very big. I did not finish my dish. Tortillas are very small. The actual chikales i got were reketes. They came with chicken in the middle. I did not know about the chicken until about 20 minutes (very big dish), it took me a while to eat enough to see it. There is alot of chicken though (good thing). Vegetarian options: I did not try the vegetarian options but saw them on the menu.

The concept of writing Mexican sayings all over the walls reminds you that this is what people before Mexico were like. Part of the Mexican culture. Combines perfect with food. Seasoning and atmosphere. Apart from the fourth day I went, a young woman there said that they gave points but I didnt know it. I went 4 days in a row for breakfast and food. But for the other one.

Is itacate the best pupusa place in the valley? Im not a fan of pupusas, in fact I hardly even eat pupusas, but after trying the Itacate pupusas I realized that it is a rich and delicious food, my favorites were the beef one and also the one with beans with cheese, although the beef one was a little bit spicy. It is a not very strong itch. Its a good place to eat pupusas but what about the other food? Well, you can also try the chilakiles, I asked the lady at the checkout if they were very spicy, she answered no and I trusted her [bad idea] the chilaquiles are very spicy for a person who doesnt eat anything spicy, but its Well, they are spicy, not because I dont like spicy they are going to have to make sauce without chili. Something good that I liked is there are pancakes on the menu for people like me who dont eat spicy food. A little small but with the new branch it will be compensated. In conclusion Place 5/5 Attention 4/5 Food 5/5 Prices 5/5

Everything they sell is very delicious, they need a sauce with more flavor, maybe if they removed the line to order and took the order to take away outside, they could put more chairs and tables inside

Which is the point that they point you out to wait your turn if people who arrived after you start passing by. The same girl who signed us up and sent us a message told us that we were not on the waiting list, after waiting 20 minutes outside. Terrible service. The one who is taking the order speaks so slowly that you cant even hear what she is saying. I wont go again.

The food is really good, been here before, but my goodness with the wait, what is with their system, first I had called a while back and they said you couldnt reserve, its been twice already that I go and they have a huge table reserved while so many people waiting. And I today I saw empty tables, so why not let people sit while they order.
