I love Aldi for their product quality and competitive prices. However this location is subpar and deteriorating over past 1-2 years. It seems they starts to scale down the SKUs they carry. There are reduced variety of premium product while the basic items are always well stocked. I remember one year ago the checkout staff placed our items in the cart in a more organized manner but now they starts to careless toss them into the cart.

Love Aldi for their prices. The one thing I really dislike about Aldi, are their check out staff. They take your groceries, scan them, then literally throw them into a cart. Jars, cans, everything. Not how people want the groceries treated. Change this and youll probably get a higher score.

Manager is rude and kicks people out for recording a grocery haul to help people learn about eating healthy and whats best to buy from there. Nobody was being disturbed by this except for of course the salty manager. Dont shop here. Go someplace else for better foods.

I was shopping at Aldi on July 1 and learned that Aldi is purchasing from farms that allow one of the cruelest factory farming practices: the use of gestation cages to house pregnant mother pigs. Gestation cages are already banned or restricted in 11 US states and Aldi itself has eliminated this practice in Germany where they are headquartered. This is cruel, immoral and intolerable. I will not be shopping at Aldi until they do the right thing.

I went to Aldi today.Because I asked google to tell me where the cheapest place to buy groceries is in austin. Ill be was at the top of the list and I knew that my son shops there. I didnt know there was one in our area but it was in flugerville which is about twenty five minutes from my apartment. It was worth the trip and I bought almost $300 in groceries. The people working there were very nice and I could tell that they were hard working people which is a pleasure to see. Their names were Jay, the assistant manager, Nicole and and Stephanie. I will be back!

We drove a long ways to come shop at this Aldi, remembering how amazing previous visits to Aldi in our former place of residence had been. This store was sold out of so many things, and the prices were not as good as we remembered them being compared to other grocery retailers. The staff was actively restocming, but this meant that we had to maneuver around multiple large pallets placed in the aisle on a busy Saturday afternoon.

Looked like a tornado went through the storm . It was my first time visiting an Aldi. I wasnt prepared to pay for the use of shopping cart which only take quarters . The hype behind this store left me feeling unimpressed and wondering why I bothered. If you live within five miles and your hard up for groceries. Maybe consider going. Otherwise there are way better options.

Quality products and their prices might be the best on town.. Grass fed, organics, and pastures raised. I would like to see more Raw Cheese and fermented foods. Did you know that Aldi brand uses select ingredients and do not use toxic food dyes for their own brand and others. They do stock some American items, that disregard avoiding harmful ingredients.

Despite it being here for awhile Ive never before shopped at any Aldi. Part of that is that there really isnt one nearby (and Im a creature of convenience like many people) and part is self-inflicted in that Im not much of a shopper, and prefer to do my grocery shopping where I can get all my items (or at least most) at one stop. My routine got changed when I had a urologist appointment at a different facility than normal, which was pretty close to the Aldi in Pflugerville. Id seen Aldi probably the first time when I was visiting my sister who was living in Cedar Rapids, IA for a short time, it was pretty close to where she lived and she shopped there (close to 20 years ago) but I never did. Of course Id heard about it, and when the Pflugerville Aldi opened my sister and Mother went there. I knew it was a European grocery chain, and kind of expected it to be like other grocery stores Ive been at in Europe (though as I mentioned Ive never before been to an Aldi, anywhere). I knew about the small shopping carts you had to rent to make sure you return it to where you picked it up (using the value of a quarter to unlock it, though no doubt the shopping cart itself is worth much more, they are really trying to just encourage you to return it to where you got it since theres nothing (except for maybe camera in parking lot?) to keep you from taking the cart. So bring your quarter, no other coin will do, and theres no changemaker I could see (though they might take mercy on you and give you change inside, I didnt ask though). Also, you bring your own bags (which has become common in the US but I think started earlier in Europe). One thing that is different is that you get to bag your own groceries, independent if you go to a self-serve or attended checkout....if you go to the latter, the checker grabs an empty cart and simply places your checked items into that cart (which becomes your new cart upon exiting checkout). In the front of the store is a full length table where you can take your items from the cart and place them into your own bags. Dont know if they sell or provide any bags if you dont bring yours or what they do if they have pick-up service (maybe they just load them in your trunk? If so, youll probably want to have a box or something at home to load the groceries from your trunk so you can get them into the house if you have an order of moderate or larger size to avoid having to make multiple trips to your car each one just carrying an item or two in your hands. Aldi is not a big store, but I expected a much smaller store, I guess because the ones I was at in Europe tended to be small (maybe I just havent been in a larger store . Ive been in such a small store in Europe that they have a one way in and one way out, such that if you see something you want you should pick it up while in front of it otherwise youll have to make a separate pass after checking out a first time and going back into the front door, since theres not enough space to go backward, the aisle is only one person width wide, but thats not every place. My Grandfather used to run a mom and pop grocery store that had a walk-up clientel...there really was no place to park a car, the idea was youd just buy enough for the day (or even a fraction of a day) and return once you needed more food than you could carry or take home in a cart you brought with you. Those stores used to be more common before the days of cars and supermarkets, outside of cities you hardly see them anymore in the US (even convenience stores while small still have primarily drive-up clientel). Anyhow, the Aldi was much bigger than I expected even though it probably isnt a supermarket . There was one aisle that appeared to have non-food household items but I glanced quickly and it appeared to have items like lamps, which seemed a bit odd to me but I guess they might change what they put there, but otherwise most of the aisles had food.

The apple and cheesecake pie is so good. Fruit and veg look fresh and so does the meat. My first time here but will be back for more. You will bag your groceries at your car unless using self checkout. There is 1 cashier but it is fast. Plenty of staff on hand to answer questions. Enjoyable trip

I ve been shopping at Aldi for over 30 years because I lived in Europe where Aldi is a household name basically in every country. It took a long time for Aldi to come to Texas because of H-E-B s monopolistic stranglehold on the market and unfortunately that is still the case in Austin, where there is not one single Aldi. I don t mind I drive to Pflugerville and get everything I need, and my favorites are the whole wheat bread, avocados, The German sausages, the fruit, and so many other items.

First you need a quarter to get a shopping cart, which you get back when you return the cart This helps keep costs down. Generally good prices on basic items and some items have amazingly good prices. There are out of the ordinary things on the shelves at times. Go with an open mind, since some things are like a special purchase. Prices have increased recently but still good. I have not tried or priced everything in the store. Worth the trip.

Went for European beer, but the shelf was empty. They had Modelo and Shiner.

Aldi was GREAT. They actually have some great Keto finds as far as bread, buns, snacks, and other great funds. Plus, they have great prices, often cheaper than HEB and other grocers.

Love Aldi. It has gone to self checkout, though, like everybody else.

Every time we come in Amy is always busy shopping curbside orders but always goes out of her way to help us find everything we are looking for. Always has a smile and a great personality.
