Great afghani food. Staff is very nice to talk to. Food quality and quantity is good and priced well. Right off the road next to a gas station. They now have seating for 12 people next to truck and 10 of these seats are under cover .

The food was incredible! The service was top notch. Armaan is the owner and he personally cooked the food and made sure we were taken care of. We got the chicken chapli rice bowl. The chicken kabob was amazing but the highlight was the rice. Never had this kind of rice before. 100% going back again.

Arman is an extremely kind man. We went on a slower day and because it was our first time, he spent a little more time on the meal and boy we re glad he did. My partner got the combo wrap and she will be going back with or without me . I ordered the Qabuli with the lamb shank and I ve never had a more tender cut of lamb. All round, Arman s kindness, consideration, and the quality of his food are reasons why we will be returning. It s not fast food, but it s damn good food

So so so good I almost want to gatekeep it. Great friendly service and delicious food. I m not sure of any other place in town serving Afghani street food. My husband and I both got the combo Chapli kebab, we were expecting the proteins to be separate but it must be ground beef and ground chicken together which sounds strange at first but was so tasty. The sauces are great (orange and green were spicy) and the fries topped with a little sweet chili sauce were unique. Was worth the wait in the heat!

Update: Second round and damn, did that food hit the spot. These guys are doing justice to Afghani NYC street food. The beef mantus are just spectacular. The Qabuli Paluw was one of the best Ive had recently. Pics dont tell the whole truth, theres a lamb shank hiding in the middle and its cooked to perfection. I dont care whos watching, Im sucking that bone marrow dry outta that shank. Skewers still not available but the chapli kabab plates with the delicious sauces, wraps, and burger ought to keep me busy the next few times. Service was excellent this time around. Theres a small shaded seating arrangement as well. Old review: I came for the combo skewer kabab and they were not available that day. So got beef mantus (dumplings) instead. They were some damn good beef mantus!! Probably the best I have had recently. Order comes with a soft drink and fries. The fries have some kind of sweet and spicy sauce on them. Personally I liked them a lot. Very pricey and service is just okay. Some seating available by the food trailer. But Ill be back for the qabuli paluw, combo chapli kabab, and combo skewers sometime soon. Dietary restrictions: Halal

The first time we tried this place it was very friendly staff. Food is too sweet for me, my family loves the food. I just give you a suggestion that dont put your sweet sauce on top of chappli combo plater rather you can give it on the side. A lot of people dont like sweet sauce. Kabuli pulaw meat is very tender. This is a good Halal food edition in north Austin.

Excellent food and very nice people. I had the chapli over rice, and the chicken mantu. The chapli over rice was filling and the rice was flavorful. No doubt this is one of the few restaurants in Austin that actually knows how to make rice well. The mantu had simple flavors, but it was well done, and very warm and comforting. The owner was very friendly. He greeted me with a Salam, and made sure I was well accommodated. He ran out of some of the items I originally wanted to order, but he suggested substitutes and gave me extra items free of charge. When I sat down, I was even offered some tea as well. All in all, I will certainly be coming here again.

This was our first trip here. We ordered the Qabuli Palaw and the chicken dumplings. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Food ratings. Chicken Mantu - 4/5 Beef Mantu - 4/5 Chicken chapli smash - 2.5/5 Beef chapli smash - 2.5/5 Qabuli pulao - 3.5/5 French fries - 5/5 Service - 3/5 Total score = 3.5/5 experience Let s start with the good. The French fries which are complimentary are hand cut and very good! It s actually some of the best French fries I ve had and I appreciate that it s complimentary. The dumplings are along pretty good. Good prep, nice texture. Taste is slightly dry and bland but overall I really enjoyed the presentation and flavors. The medium is the qabuli pulao. I was really excited to try it but my personal preference is that pulao is best with lamb and not beef. I also thought that the almonds changed the flavors a bit. But overall a 3.5/5 experience. The bad - both the smash burgers. The buns, cheese are just poor quality. The burgers itself are not in smash or crispy form. It tastes good but it s not even close to a smash burger in terms of the patty. My suggestion is also to improve the quality of the buns and cheese. Service was okay. Very nice people but both times I ve been here they have been sold out of items by 6pm which is a little frustrating. Overall a 3.5 star experience.

Delicious afghani food with the convenience of being a food truck! I ve tried chicken dumplings, beef chapli burger and beef chapli kabab salad. Everything is delicious! The sweet and spicy sauce is great as well. The staff are very friendly. They set up a tv with cartoons for the kids while my mom and I got to eat in peace. The kids enjoyed their fries :) My favorite dish so far was the beef chapli with salad. WOW! It s located in a Valero parking lot and had a few tables to sit and eat. Location is convenient to get to and prices are good. Each meal comes with fries and a drink. So far I ve come twice. Love having a delicious halal afghani food option in the area.

Great little gem in Pflugerville. The food is freshly prepared and tastes amazing! We had the Chicken Mantu (dumpling) and Chicken & Beef Chapli Kebab entrees with rice. The salad was freshly made! They came with fries and soda. The food was exploding with flavors, layer after layer. The portions are large and can eat for 2+ meals. Really delicious food with incredible value. Nothing like it in the greater Austin area. I encourage everyone to try it, you ll be hooked.

Tried their Smash Beef Chapli burger which comes with fries. if you re like me and like spicy food - let them know at the time you order. They usually will put a white sauce (mayo &garlic sauce) with a sweet sauce - I opted for their Islander sauce which is a hotter sauce. They make the beef meat fresh and grind it before making the burger for you so expect about 15 to 20 minutes. Fries were good! The owner Idrees seems to be a nice guy and connected, in a good way.
