Met with Taylor as he advertises he is an elder care attorney. He did draw up our documents. They were not tailored to us as there were wrong names, as it was a form document. When we had follow up questions he was impossible to get a hold of. In actuality, it was a blessing in disguise. He doesn t have the knowledge, we thought he did, regarding Medicaid, and elder care in general regarding the law. Speaking to a REAL elder care attorney we now know there will be no issues when my mom passes with Medicaid. Thanks for your lack of response Taylor! Attorney Carla Alston is who you need to advise you on estate and family planning, and how to protect your personal and business assets. As a young family I wasn t quite sure I needed to think about estate family so soon but after speaking with Carla she assured me I did so I worked to get my will and POA in place. It is my pleasure to share my experiences with Willingham & Galvan. We had used Taylor Willingham several years ago to set up our trust/wills and felt he did an excellent job for us. In May of 2020 we experienced the the unthinkable. Our only son accidentally fell and hit his head on our driveway while we were watching. His brain was damaged beyond repair and he passed away two weeks later. Simply a freak accident. He was 42 recently divorced and had two daughters. He had no will. I contacted Taylor to handle probate for us and to allow me to handle the settling his estate for my Grandchildren. I ended up later working with Cindy to get everything settled. She represented me at the final court appearance to get the estate closed. Every aspect of working with Cindy went exceedingly well. She actually went the extra mile for my grandchildren by finding a bank with reduced fees to manage the money for my grandchildren. For that I will be forever grateful. Nobody wants to plan for their own demise. We just dont or wont think about it. Even after my husbands death three years ago, I procrastinated. With a little one still at home and moderate assets, I only had mumbled plans and a vague idea of which child of mine would shoulder the responsibility of sorting through my mess posthumously. I bit the bullet and met with Willingham Law Firm. I was moody, noncommittal and still in denial that I even had to do such a thing. However, the staff was very professional and friendly. Mr. Willingham was open and honest, his calm and competent demeanor putting me at ease. No question I asked was mocked. Clear and concise advise that was plain spoken and forthright began to unwind that bag of nerves in my stomach haunting me since my husbands death. Now I could rest assured that my daughter would be in good hands if I died before her coming of age. With the help of this will, I had one chosen person in charge if my medical care so I wouldnt have to worry about my children arguing in a hospital waiting room. My choices would be honored. These things were all made possible by this wonderful company that took the time with me and made a daunting and unpleasant experience wholly rewarding. I would recommend this company to anyone and would sing their praises from the rooftops. The Willingham Law Firm, PC is very experience law firm doing Estate Planning, they have friendly experienced staff and very honest place. They did my estate planning which involve not easy requirements for me and my wife, they explained it to us in such a way we understood it very clearly, Mr. Willingham is a great person, he talks clearly and you feel that you are talking to a very experience person who is very knowledgeable in estate planning, he gives the advice but at the end he does what you want to.
