The food looked delicious! We were excited to try the food, but upon sitting down we realized we didnt see what we were looking for on the menu, so we asked to get billed for the tea to go. I think that upset the woman working there because she went to the back and started talking loud and all the other workers kept looking at our table. It was unprofessional and just bad energy so we took our business next door instead. We were looking forward to coming back when we were craving what was on their menu, but that ruined our first impression

I had the shrimp egg foo yun. 4 shrimp and full of broccoli no other vegetables. The fried rice was gummy not fried. No veggies in it whatsoever. Worse Chinese ever. They should sell the business if they don t care about the quality anymore. Oh AND THERE WAS A LONG GREY HAIR IN MY FOOD.

This place used to be decent but the quality has gone down drastically. Super dry and chewy rice that is going to stick to your teeth and break them if you try to eat it. Excessively sweet and sticky sauce on most entrees. Save yourself your money and regret and order elsewhere. This place is probably paying people to leave good reviews. Update: ordered again today and had a way better experience. The person who answered the phone paid attention to our requests and food came out exactly right. Increasing stars for the improved service and food!

This is the best Chinese around! Its much better than Panda. Its more authentic and delicious. Even the orange peels are flavorful. The service was fine and the atmosphere is fine. Nothing spectacular there. But, the food is really good!! Dietary restrictions: My brother is on keto and dairy free and he loved it and found things to order just fine. Not the best or the worst food,service was not the greatest and Hot & Sour soup(rate a 6 )was not that hot plus Kung Pao dishes have no veggies like green or red pepper or even green onion. The staff was pleasant, the restrooms were clean and the take out order came quickly but the food was just subpar. There are so many good reviews maybe it is what I ordered. The egg rolls were a little doughy and i could not actually identify the veggies in it. The Wonton Soup tasted like salted water, the wontons were mushy and tasteless. The Crispy Shrimp was not at all what i was expecting. The shrimp were long flat fried strips, served over a bed of broccoli which was cooked well. Because it was take out the sauce was on the side. It was a little sweet and a little tangy but absolutely no heat/spice which i think a few chili flakes may have helped here. The Thai Chicken and Shrimp was awful. It was undercooked so you could still taste the corn starch and it coated the green beans. Again, absolutely no heat here. Im going to try and put the entire meal in the airfryer and spice it up to see if it can be saved because it is definitely under cooked. Good prices, good portions and good service. Ill give it one more try to see if the food is any better

Ordered chicken fried rice and Kung Pao Chicken. The chicken fried rice was good and what I really liked about the Kung Pao Chicken is that it was not loaded with vegetables, it has plenty of chicken, and it was not spicy, which is what I asked for. The only issue was that when I called in the order, I had a very difficult time getting the lady to understand what I was saying. As a result, I was unable to add one item to the Kung Pao Chicken.

I am NOT one to leave poor reviews, but I do believe in honesty and as you can see, I left higher stars for the service and atmosphere. I WANTED to like this place just based on the surface impression. Nice people, clean establishment, unfortunately horrible food. Fried pot stickers were boiled and slimy. Crab Rangoons were oily, chewy not crispy, and no crab in the mixture. Meat in the main dishes (chicken, beef, shrimp, scallops) were all squishy and soft like they were pure fat covered in sauce. The fried ride was dry and flavorless. On the plus side after only one bite of the main dish we refused to pay for those dishes and they removed them from our bill. Although we did have to get the manager involved for that to happen.

Best Chinese food Ive tried so far in Pflugerville. Simple place, but clean and pleasant. Good service, the staff is attentive and make sure everything is in order quite often. Lunch specials menu offers several options, I tried the Kung Pao Triple Delight with steamed rice, and strongly recommend it. Delicious, well served and affordable, around 10 bucks. I really want to like the food, but its just not what Im used to. Ive dined in once and ordered takeout another, and both times have been super unsatisfied with the food. The orange chicken I got was so spicy, it was completely inedible. (And I ordered a low spice level.) This time, I got the sesame chicken. Instead of bite-sized pieces of chicken, they are served in giant chunks that can be cut into 4 or 6 pieces for eating. The chicken inside is dry. The egg rolls are okay, but Id pass on the spring rolls. The crab rangoons are good if you get lucky with one that actually has a tangible amount of cream cheese inside. I will say, my husband liked his beef dish, and my daughter loved her Mongolian noodles. Maybe just skip the chicken dishes here.

I keep trying different Chinese restaurants in the area looking for my ONE place I can always order from. And T Jins just became that place. The food is always excellent. Getting delivery doesnt jump up the cost because they still use in-house drivers. And I kinda live on their House (wor) Won Ton Soup when i get sick. But my last experience is what triggered this review. I got delivery last night including two orders of the House Wonton Soup. One of the containers had opened and spilled out into the bag. The delivery driver rang the bell until I answered, explained what had happened, and went through all the food with me to see if any of it was ruined (it wasnt). Because half the soup had come out of the container, he apologized profusely and handed me a $5 bill to make up for it. I know that any of the delivery service drivers wouldve just dropped the bag outside the door and left. THIS is customer service. Kudos to the T Jins family.

Wow! Hands down the best Chinese food Ive had in a while. Everyone was friendly, restaurant was clean and pleasant environment. The wait staff knew what they were doing and everyone was very helpful and professional. The food was amazing. I eat at t-Jin s in several different locations around Houston and Austin. This location had a weird vibe like no other I d been to, and the basic broccoli / chicken I always get was a slimy greasy mess ! And no one ever asked about why almost the whole meal was still between my big & small plates ! I tried to separate the meat out thinking there was some extra chicken fat bc of all that grease! The chicken meat was mush and must have been frozen and refrozen or something that damaged the meat ! Worst meal ever ! My family and I were fans of this restaurant up until about two months ago when I found a dead German cockroach in with my lemon chicken. I waited and gave it some time before trying it again since I was so grossed out. I went today for the first time in over 2 months and found ANOTHER German cockroach in my rice!! DISGUSTING! If they cannot keep the roaches out of the food they re preparing, just imagine what the sanitary conditions are like in the kitchen. I will never come back here and will be filing a complaint with the health department.

I would agree with the other reviews that say good but not great . I was kind of expecting slightly based on the rating but the thing that pushed it down to 3 stars was that I used the restroom. It was reeeaaallly gross with no toilet paper and sticky floors. Service was ok in that they brought things promptly but they didn t take anything away. I had wrappers from the cutlery, straw paper etc that sat there the whole time. I had it pushed over into an easily reachable pile but it just wasn t in the serving process. I guess that sounds petty to point out but all a restaurant like this really has is food and service. Great prices!

Honestly, no one likes to get catfished by food. Certainly, not me. They are consistent. It s not anything innovative, but it s safe. Food was awful, easily the worst Chinese food Ive had in ages. The eggrolls, potstickers, shrimp rolls and spring rolls were all microwaved instead of actually cooked. The meat inside was rubbery, and the pastry was chewy and still starchy. The fried rice was bland and only rice, no egg, no vegetables, just rice with a bit of soy or broth, but not enough to impart any flavor. The Generals Chicken was bizarre, chicken breast chunks in a super sweet zero heat puddle of sauce. It was like they microwaved some chicken nuggets and poured a bag of sauce over them. The Pepper shrimp was described as grilled, but what they gave us was breaded and them mixed with steamed vegetables so it was soggy. And bland. The hot n sour soup was neither, it just tasted of vinegar. Truly, every piece of food was terrible and we will never eat here ever again.

We had two appetizers and two entrees come to us in less than five minutes. Food was definitely thrown in a microwave and given to us. Took a few bites and couldnt even remotely finish. Serving size was bad and the service was not good either.

I have actually never eaten inside always ordered but the food has always been good and 5 times we order for like 30 people on Holidays like Christmas and everything worked out well also i guess i have to dine there because we actually discovered it during covid . definitely one of my favorite Chinese food spots in the area I recommend going here at at least once a month....

The pan-fried dumplings were quite good so was the combination lo mein all of the meat was tender and moist. Also, some of the better chili oil most places chili oil has no heat but t jins made me sweat and i loved it. If i could give it a 4.5 stars i would, what i had waa a solid 4 stars...

Went for lunch. The food itself was barely edible (soup was too smoky, egg rolls had minimal filling, fried rice had no flavor, and entree was literally four pieces of boiled shrimp with a plain sauce on top). Service was fast and friendly and the price was reasonable (especially for the area).

Tried out the kung Pao chicken with fried rice to gauge the food standard. Pretty poor quality chicken. Flavor that makes you cringe. Usually this dish isn t breaded but they were breaded; the sauce base is clearly used for multiple dishes. Fried rice was mostly soy sauce and oil with almost no eggs or veg. Cannot recommend it.

The food while it looked good was pretty dull and tasteless. The Kung pao had a little bit of heat and not much else,and even our 4 year old said the wonton soup tasted like water. Id like to hope that isnt the normal, but since its the day after Christmas, they were pretty busy so I guess some folks like flavor being super subtle.

We ordered for Christmas Day and it was absolutely amazing! The delivery person sat our order on the porch and ran off right after ringing the doorbell, we ran out with the cash tip and werent able to get their attention. Would have loved to give a wonderful tip but will definitely be able to make up for it during the next order. Delicious!

The salt and pepper shrimp and the egg roll werent very crispy for being fried. The flavor was really good. The wonton soup was good. The hot green tea was good. As for the atmosphere, they need to change the music being played from elevator music to something more Asian. I will continue to go here because Im too lazy to drive to get better Chinese food.

Went in for lunch and was quickly point to wear I was going to sit. Expecting to be seated but the person who was supposed to take me to my seat stopped at another table. I was about to order in a timely manner and unfortunately the vegetable spring roll kind of warm not hot at all but it had a good taste. I also ordered the crab Rangoon which that was very good! Hot and fresh. For the main meal I ordered sesame chicken and fried rice. I expected crispy chicken but it wasn t and my fried rice cold. I told the server I didn t like didn t like it he said why? I told him why tried to order something else but the wait was very long so I paid and left. I wouldn t visit again I did not have an enjoyable experience.

This is our favorite Chinese food in Round Rock/Pflugerville/Hutto. I love the soong pheasant chicken dish but this time I got a simple vegetable chicken dish and I really liked the ample sauce they had on it. The restaurant is very clean. The server is friendly and attentive. For some reason, the hot tea was lukewarm this time but I think it was maybe a weird time for tea as it was unusually hot outside today. The wonton soup was good. My husband liked his Szechuan beef. Were currently doing portion control when we can, and we were able to both take home half our dishes for lunch tomorrow.

I tried out this restaurant for the first time since moving here. I must say that this place was amazing. The restaurant is very clean. the wait staff are quick and on point. I always try out the egg drop soup as a test and it came out fresh, hot and tasting amazing. Their serving size is perfect for what you pay. I would highly recommend this place. This place better make room for a bigger crowd. I can see this place growing at fast rate. Parking: Lots of spots.

Have been a guest several times, both dine-in and pick up. My son loves their orange chicken, so even though we moved 25 miles away, we still visit. Yesterday, it was so spicy, neither of us could eat it. We tried wonton and Rangoon for the first time. Wontons were a Nope. Rangoons were the skimpiest in the history of ever. One TEASPOON of filling. General Tso, meh. Lemon chicken comes only in dinner size portion. It too was Meh. When I got there, I was shorted one meal ( I ordered two orange chicken) and they got the missed one out quickly. Good recovery there. Really sad to see almost ALL of a $60.00+ meal go into the garbage. I tried to tell you guys this privately, but I never got the code.
