I owned them this review. We are a couple from Costa Rica. We visited the Plantation House when my now husband took me to Austin to celebrate my 40th birthday. I cannot explained, how much we loved this place. I became so special to us. The owners are just incredible, friendly, respectful and very attentive. The breakfast is something we still dream about, it was delicious. I hope to be back in the near future.

My wife and I had a great stay in Plantation House. Owner Luey is the sweetest lady and an amazing cook. Breakfast she prepared for us was simply the best. It was light, but tasty and flavorful. Room is spacious and has a balcony with a nice view to the courtyard and greens. Location was perfect for my needs as well. Street in front of the house is small and busy, though. So when you are in and out, it would be little bit tricky. However, once the construction is done, it should be much better. The only downturn for us was that we only stayed one night. We will definitely come back when we go down to Austin area and stay longer! Rooms: Spacious, well stocked, balcony, nice view. Food and drinks: Lueys breakfast was the best. It was much better than any brunch restaurant can offer. Even her pumpkin cake for desert was fantastic!

AMAZING. We FINALLY found a TRUE B&B in Texas. It was our 12 year anniversary and the one request was to have a real cooked, prepared breakfast and I found it . It was a blessing to be the only couple. They had a solid booking with one party but they canceled....ty party... The only complaint that I had was driving 4 hours from San Angelo, but it was worth it. I was told that we are definitely coming back next anniversary but this time staying more than one nite . Thank you Luey for the Amazing hospitality.

On a ten night trip thru Texas in July 2023 ,my wife and I booked 2 nights at the Plantation House. We quickly regretted that our stay wasnt longer. Our hosts, Luey and Norris, are not only the most hospitable owners, but are so informative about the area.Their home is a beautiful representation of a Southern Manor, and the feel is one of luxury in an oasis separated from encroaching expansion. Luey is really at home in the kitchen and her snacks and breakfast are definitely gourmet. You will want to move in permanently!

Nestled in amongst the booming housing developments in the growing town of Pflugerville, Texas lies a charming place called The Plantation House. The opulent wrought iron gate welcomes visitors and beckons them into a time long forgotten. The pond filled with ducks and geese make the guests feel as though they have left the city and traveled deep into the countryside. As you pull up to the large impressive house you are filled with a sense of old world style meets southern comfort. The hostess greets each visitor as though they are family and her bubbly personality puts you at ease immediately. Upon arrival, you are given a complete tour of the home while the hostess shares bits and pieces about the house and the treasures that lie around every corner. The rooms are filled with warm lights and amenities to rival any 5 star hotel. This bed and breakfast plantation home is definitely a hidden gem that everyone needs to experience.

This is a wonderful vacation spot. We highly recommend it. The home was gorgeous, polished, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and just all around amazing. It is a short drive from Austin and Georgetown. However, the hosts, Luanne Luey and Norris, are who make this location so special. The couple made us feel welcome. They are just very interesting and lovely people. Luey makes amazing home made breakfasts that are beautifully plated and delicious. The homemade banana bread and cookies were always fresh, available, and irresistible. It makes for a wonderful vacation spot. We highly recommend it!

Wonderful experience at The Plantation House. The home is as beautiful and comfortable as the pictures display. Luey is a divine host and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Breakfast was 5 star -- and while we only were able to spend one night -- we will be back. The vibe is relaxing and recharging....pool is nice and the entire home and yard is tastefully decorated. Only a mile away from Lake Pflugerville where my daughter participated in a sprint triathlon. Thank you for sharing your special home and allowing us to make special memories.

I have never been to an inn as homey as The Plantation House Boutique Inn. Norris and Luey are great to converse with as they create an environment where you are not just guests, but family sharing the same home. The home itself is gorgeous with beautifully decorated rooms, that boasts a modern feel but still keeps the charm and authenticity of the house. The grounds are wonderfully taken care of, with a large field infront of the home and a nice clean pool in the backyard. Even a swing attached to the large tree in the backyard! Fresh baked cookies, snacks, and bottles of water are available to guests. There isn t another place near Austin that I can ever think about staying in. Thank you for the hospitality and unbelievably clean space.

Absolutely a must to stay with Loueys Plantation House while visiting the Austin Area. The house is immaculate, very spacious rooms, and quite simply adorable. Louey makes the best breakfast and it is evident that she is so passionate in everything she does by all the details she puts in the house and her cooking. Her conversations while making breakfast will have you laughing with tears. Sadly, our son moved from the area this month so I am not sure if we will be able to stay again but if he moves back, then we sure will :)

The Plantation House more than met our expectations! It is a hidden gem that provides respite from the nearby busy city. Luey and Norris are exceptional hosts and made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. We are from out of state and came to enjoy a nearby music festival and take in the sights and sounds of the region. It was so fun to go out on the town, taking in some of the historic honky tonks in Austin and then be able to drive back (about 20-30 min) to such a beautiful, relaxing, place. We stayed in the charming and spacious Penthouse Loft. The beds were very comfortable and Luey makes wonderful breakfasts to start the day. If you like out of the ordinary, well appointed, and relaxing accommodations you will love staying here!

This property is an absolute Gem. It is beautiful, well maintained and decorated, relaxing and tranquil. It is meticulously clean and MUCH MORE than you would expect from a Bed & Breakfast. We went there with our 2 kids for a Staycation. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. In fact, in a global environment where hospitality establishments, big and small, are cutting costs and offerings, this place provides the comforts and conveniences that once were a staple of Luxury Hotels. In my opinion, places like The Ritz Carlton have nothing over this place when it comes to service, specially when it comes to friendliness and welcoming atmosphere. My only regret is, I wished we had stayed longer but there is always next time. Highly recommend, thank you for a great overall experience, one that is becoming increasingly rare.

We ve stayed in many B&Bs and The Plantation House is certainly at the top of our list! Everything was perfect, starting with the hosts Luanna and Norris. They are the most gracious hosts imaginable and made our stay a delight. Each day Luanna made a different breakfast and each one was fantastic without being too heavy - we had room to enjoy all the great food around Austin. The house itself was wonderful - grand but cozy and charming at the same time with a beautiful porch and yard to relax in. Our only regret was we didn t have more time to stay and relax! To put an exclamation point on it there was an endless supply of homemade cookies, banana bread and Nespresso s in the common area. Luanna, Norris and their house certainly live up to the enthusiastic reviews and we can t wait to go back for another stay. Loved it!!!

My wife and I absolutely loved our time spent with the Coles at the Plantation House Boutique Inn. We booked it as part of a package with airfare through Expedia and did not know what to expect. We found that we were relatively close to everything we wanted to do and see while in Austin. The house is extremely well kept and our room was very cozy. The conversation every morning over breakfast was much appreciated as it helped guide our day and what we did. The suggestions made by our hosts were thoughtful and took into account us and our preferences. As a relatively frequent guest of bed and breakfasts in many places, I have never experienced this type of personal attention. We really felt like part of the family. Finally, the home cooked breakfasts as beautiful as they were delicious. Id also want to mention that the time spent relaxing on the porch and sipping Nespresso in the afternoons became like tea time and could not have happened without the coffee station and freedom to enjoy the whole property. If you are considering a B&B stay in Austin, do not hesitate. Book here now.

I am so happy I came The Plantation House during a Google Search. I was looking for Bed and Breakfast places in Texas and it popped up. I immediately fell in love with the pictures of the house, rooms and landscape. As my boyfriend and I entered the gate to the estate, I felt like I was going to Downton Abbey or was about to enter a Hallmark movie. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendliest Inn keepers Luey and Norris. Luey gave us a tour and she had some homemade cookies and banana bread waiting for us. I was excited because banana bread is my favorite. My boyfriend and I stayed over New Years. He and I were upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite. His family showed up later that night and stayed in the Harper Suite. We were fortunate that we had the entire house to ourselves. The beds were the comiest weve ever slept in from a Bed and Breakfast or hotel. The linens were of the highest quality. You will get a really good nights sleep and wont want to get up out from under the covers. The decor of the house was beautifully decorated. The Christmas tree was still up and just simply gorgeous. The weather outside got down to the 30s so Luey made a fire in the living room for us. The first morning Luey made us German pancakes topped with blueberries, strawberries, topped with whipped cream and a side of crispy bacon. The second morning we had homemade biscuits topped with a meat gravy and a side of eggs. She made extra biscuits and we had them with homemade fig preserves from her garden. The third morning we had homemade french toast, crispy bacon and boiled apples. Luey is not only a FABULOUS cook, she has the best personality. She goes over and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and feel comfortable. Luey and Norris make you feel like family. Thank you, Luey and Norris for your wonderful hospitality and opening your home to us. We will definitely be back!!

We stayed in the Masters suite and we made use of the private balcony. We were able to order a handful of food to deliver to the house and eat out on the balcony. It was really nice. Breakfast was really good. I wish she would let everyone eat there without needing to book a night. Luey does such a good job. We had german pancake and then frittata on our second morning. Both were amazing. She also have baked goods available for her guest. I ate probably half of that banana cake and probably like 6 cookies. They were so good. Theres also coffee station on every floor. I highly recommend this place for your stay. You wont regret it. It is a place that you can come and truly destress. They also have roku and wifi available.

Loved our stay! Accommodations were perfectly comfortable, clean, and thoughtful for anything you could need or want. We stayed in the Harper Suite. The breakfast is delicious. There were comfortable spots to read or sit and talk both inside and outside - a great retreat! We used the pool as well and it was clean and relaxing, perfect if you stay during warmer weather. Close proximity to Austin activities. The owners are delightful!

The Plantation House Boutique Inn was incredible! I have stayed in quite a few different hotels and bnbs, and this is by far one of the best experiences I have ever had. The entire time we were there, Luanna was at the ready to help us while still giving us plenty of privacy. She kindly accommodated our request for a late check out so that we could get ready for my sisters wedding and it was the perfect spot. The rooms are sparkling clean, ample snacks within reach, great wifi, beautiful views, peace and quiet, with the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep on. And after such a wonderful night, we woke to the smell of breakfast cooking downstairs, which was delicious and handmade by Luanna herself. If you are looking for a stay that will feel luxurious but not stuffy, where you can experience a rejuvenating getaway while feeling like every little detail has been taken care of, then look no further!

A piece of hidden heaven overflowing with hospitality!! The owners (Luey and Norris) management of their bed and breakfast is the epitome of Southern charm. They do not skimp on luxury and have put a lot of thought into convenience, privacy, and allure! Luey manages to keep this fabulously designed bed and breakfast immaculate and cooks to boot while Norris tends to the gorgeous outdoor living thats to die for. Take the time to enjoy their pool and firepit areas, abundant rocking chairs on two of their four large porches, luscious foliage, beautiful blooms, and abundant wildlife. We woke up each morning to a singing mockingbird and the smell of Lueys home-cooked hot breakfast waiting for us to devour. If you are looking for the perfect getaway thats quiet and relaxing then look no further. This is it! Dont forget to try Lueys nana bread! :)

Breathtaking. This place is full of life and beauty! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in the Owners Suite. The bed was so fluffy, the smell of the towels and sheets were divine and the rain shower in the bathroom? Pure bliss. We loved having access to the outdoor upstairs patio, too! Luana and Norris (the owners) were precious and SO FUN. The details of this place will captivate you. From the fresh flowers and magnolia blooms, to the sentiment of the room names, the horses in the pasture, rocking chairs on the front porch = this place truly represents Southern Charm with a dash of flare. We cannot wait to stay here again and bring friends and family with us next time!

I rarely leave reviews, unless an experience is exceptional - which our stay here was. The owners accommodated our late evening arrival; provided clean, comfortable accommodations with lots of amenities and nice grounds for walking around or swimming; and are some of the nicest people youll ever meet. Lueys breakfasts and snacks were terrific and Norris even gave us an up close look an armadillo he caught roaming the grounds (yeah were from the north and this was interesting for us). They made us feel like family, as did their own family members and friends who dropped in over the weekend. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Austin, and in easy driving distance for day trips to San Antonio or Waco.

Wow! It is hard to know where to begin. First of all, the grounds as you pull up are just so well maintained and the acreage feels like your own private gardens. Then you hop out to greet the nicest inn keepers ever and take a quick tour of the beautiful and well kept mansion. This ends in your room where everything is intuitively placed to be optimally functional, beautiful and perfectly clean. We have had a hard time finding bed and breakfasts sometimes that even allow children. Not only did the Harper Suite have the perfect Jack and Jill set up but in subtle ways they had planned perfectly to host children here. Included in the drawers was a video monitor and a tucked away Pack and Play. Also, there is plenty of built in storage for all the travel necessities with kids and a TV too high and tucked away for them to reach. This is above and beyond the perfectly laundered high thread count bedding in both rooms. I would also like to take a minute and say that they genuinely seemed to enjoy having us and our small child visit but not only us, everyone who stayed there. It created a feeling of warmth and made our vacation better. As any parent will probably agree, the nespresso machine silently cranking out morning coffee on the same floor as our rooms was a fan favorite. I would have to say the fresh banana bread and cookies were our daughters favorite but the breakfasts were mine. Every morning our hosts would chat and make the most delicious food we had all trip. In short, go and enjoy!

What an amazing place. My wife and I were married here 20 years ago. Now its a Bed and Breakfast, we were able to stay for our 20th anniversary. The place is now more amazing then it was then. We stayed in the Owners Suite. The room was well decorated and comfortable. The day we check in we swim in the pool and hung out on the back porch. We set on the couch in our room and enjoyed so late night tv, and also played a couple games. The next morning a wonderful breakfast was served and we sat and watched the wild life outside. We had a couple Red Robins and several other birds as well as a Bob Cat with 3 of her cubs. The owners are very friendly and pleasant the talk to. Be sure to walk around the property. Lots to see. Private and pretty. Even thou the house is located in the city, it very quite and relaxing. Sad that our stay came to an end. We well be back for another visit soon.

My wife and I stayed at the Plantation House for 8nights in the honeymoon suite which was a generous size with a queen bed, walk in closet, separate bathroom and separate TV room with sofa which we found to be completely beyond our expectations compared to boutique hotels we have previously stayed in. The house itself is overwhelming as you ll see the first time you drive up to it and set in lovely gardens which are meticulously maintained by the wonderful hosts. In regards to the facilities, the whole place was spotless, the bathroom was good size and there was a proper hairdryer, not one of those travel hairdryers which my wife apparently cannot stand! The décor of the room and the whole house is beautiful, stylish and perfectly suited for the home. There is a Nespresso machine that had a wide range of coffees to choose from, which we took full advantage of while sitting in various communal areas of the house such as the porch, the 2 reception rooms downstairs, the kitchen outside by the pool. Now to the hosts, Luanna and Norris, they were gracious, kind, such lovely people, and great ambassadors for the famous southern hospitality we all hear about From Luanna s freshly cooked to order breakfasts which were served with a coffee or tea with a side of fabulous conversation to the freshly baked cookies and banana bread to Norris cowboy stories, his 2 step and his awesome collection of cowboy boots and belts! If you find it hard to negotiate where to eat in Austin ask Luanna and Norris, they have a wealth of knowledge on the food front! We could not have asked for better hosts, they opened up their home and made us feel like we were at home. We will definitely be back!

We were here for a wedding... In June, outside Austin. That is a recipe for tough weather. And tough it was. Hot and Humid the ceremony was outside, and we were in the sun during it... That was bad. However, they did have a small area in, what appeared to be, a permanent tent like structure, that had AC where we ate and did toasts (then back outside for dancing). Overall, it seemed like a nice property, the lawn was certainly beautiful, but I dont think the best place for a wedding in that weather... There isnt enough space with AC and in that heat and humidity, no thanks. Other, more reasonably-weathered seasons? Sure. Could be great.
