First time here. Everything was awesome! The food is so flavorful and the pork ribeye can be cut with a fork. I used a butter knife. It is also about 12 minutes from home. I don t think you would be disappointed with whatever is ordered. We will return. Wait staff very good.

This is a restaurant offering fine dining in Humble, Texas. Humble is located northeast of Houston when driving on 59/I-69, and locals are more likely to find the location convenient for celebrating special occasions. However, its proximity to IAH airport makes it ideal for travelers looking for an upscale dining experience. Reservations are required, and it is advised that diners arrive wearing semi-formal attire or at least what is commonly considered business casual. The restaurant is well-decorated with paintings and features beautiful patterned wallpaper. The restaurant offers a nice wine list and can prepare a limited variety of cocktails. The bread was disappointing. It was definitely not fresh, and was served hard and cold. It did not complement the butter, which had a rich and smooth taste. The escargot was okay. Its hard to enjoy another restaurants escargot after having it at Brasserie 19 in Houston. The Crab Tower tasted good and was just enough for everyone at the table. The Muscovy Duckling was amazing, and the glaze added a pleasant flavor to the dish. However, the shepherds pie that came with the Muscovy Duckling was a little disappointing. It lacked the traditional ingredients of shepherds pie and consisted only of tender, juicy meat topped with mashed potatoes. The Scallop and Shrimp Risotto was mostly great, although some diners in my party mentioned that it did not taste as good as expected. I dont like sweets and did not have dessert (but that s a personal preference of mine).

After 17 years of living in the United States having moved from France, this was one of the most exceptional French cuisine restaurants I have been to yet. The quality of atmosphere perfectly complements the high level of service. On the other hand, the food is of the highest quality with a clear expertise on presentation from the chef. The pricing is also affordable considering the level of perfection and authenticity.

We live across the street in the Townhomes our vehicle was stolen and the restaurant has cameras facing our parking lot so we go to the restaurant to see if we can get footage of who did it and they were completely rude and acted like we were bothering them, I believe he said he didn t want to get involved ! You would think being an almost 5 restaurant you would want to help find out who did it to make sure nothing happens to per say a customer or an employee s property but no not this guy. Very rude and inconsiderate, unprofessional disgusting!

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was wonderful. The wait staff were very attentive. The food was delicious! I loved how tender the escargot were. I had the salad with fruit. The fruit was flavorful and sweet. The duck was tender but the shepards pie was a bit salty. The filet mignon was so flavorful and tender. We asked for our check and they surprised us with a lovely dessert to end the night. It was a very nice experience!

The special occasion go to for 20 years. Ill chalk it up to a bad night. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable as always. The service was slow (not in a rush, but confused and forgetful). It was surprising due to much of the staff had been there over ten years. The food was the big disappointment this trip. Veal was dry, shrimp was rubbery. Literally the best meal I ve ever had. Not my first fine dining experience, but the best. We got the chef s table, allowing the chef to choose 5 courses for us. Truly exceptional from start to finish. The vinaigrette on the salad had vanilla in it. The scallop melted in my mouth. We also had bacon wrapped duck, coffee dusted steak, and for dessert a lemonchello and blueberry soufflé.

This is such a unique situation to have such a fine dining french restaurant in a low key humble neighborhood. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a quaint bench village. Classical music playing, impeccable service, and delicious food make this a great destination for that special occasion. I love the charcuterie, the duck, lamb chops carved tableside, and who can forget the chocolate souffle. A tad expensive but worth it in my opinion.

Simply magnificent. I have been looking for a five star restaurant, since moving to Atascocita, this is it. It is better than any NYC French restaurant. The wine selections were top notch. Tonight, we enjoyed an incredible meal! Thank you to the renowned owner and chef, Stacy Crowe-Simonson! Our 16th wedding anniversary will be one to remember thanks to the Chefs Table - 5 course meal with wine pairings! The service was impeccable, from the host to the gentleman who continually filled our bread plate. Personally, I can not find one thing to gripe about, and my name is Karen!!! But seriously, every course had something exciting to talk about - the pepita dressing, herbaceous pork/foie gras cup, perfectly cooked red fish with crispy skin and capers, melt in your mouth lamb lollipops, and not only one dessert, but two, because of the special occasion. And the wines...each paired perfectly, all very approachable! Please, do yourself a favor and enjoy an evening at this special gem in Humble!

We ordered the chefs table. They had 2 large parties which took priority. Our food came out overcooked, cold, and very slowly. This was one of my favorite restaurants and my sweetie was really looking forward to taking me there after my health started to improve. We were so disappointed in the evening we havent been back. Very cute hidden gem that my husband found. Loved how we could finally have a quiet dinner and be able to talk without others being obnoxious and overbearing our conversation. Our dinner party was of 4 and we all ordered different things which we truly enjoyed our entrees to the max. The CrabTower and Escargot both tasted so fresh. The desserts were also a crowd pleaser. Will definitely going back! My only recommendation would be for the staff to have better hospitality. They never introduced themselves and just seemed like they were there just to do a job. Most higher end restaurants the staff always work there with passion and love for the restaurant. It was just missing that piece to have a 5 star experience. Detail was missing when we ordered our wine; we got our bottle, but my husband ordered a glass Chardonnay and they probably brought it 20mins later.

Just celebrated my 80th birthday at Chez Nous with six of my best birthday buddies. The staff made us all welcome with lovely table in the side room. The food was wonderful. Lets start out with the good stuff. My wife and I came in on a Friday night. The atmosphere and aesthetics of the place are amazing. Its a nice, somewhat quiet, restaurant converted from an old house. The ambiance was great. The service was decent, nothing went wrong. I feel like, for the price, it could have been a little better. On top of that, my chair was incredibly uncomfortable. I had to keep repositioning myself throughout the meal. Now, lets get to the food. We started with the crab tower: an amalgamation of blue crab meat, avocado, mangoes, and tomatoes. It was pretty good. My wife had the veal, it wasnt anything to write home about. If it were, Id have been able to describe it better here. Then, theres my meal...I had the scallops with English pea risotto. To start, the entire dish only had 2 scallops. Why would you serve a scallop dish that doesnt feature scallops? They tried to cover that fact that the scallop portion was skimpy by adding a few rubbery, overcooked shrimp into the mix. That wasnt even the worst part. The risotto was terrible. The consistency was thick and sticky, like it had been sitting around for hours and reheated. To add insult to injury, it was undercooked. Theres nothing less appealing than eating a crunchy risotto. Overall, it was an experience. We definitely wont be coming back here. I suggest you consider skipping this one as well. There are definitely better fine dining experiences available.

Consistently excellent in almost every way. The new servers are young and a little bit inexperienced but enthusiastic and working hard. Waited 45 minutes just to get a menu. The only time we saw our waiter was to get our drink order, refill a drink, and to drop the check. The manager had to take our food order (after an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting). Extremely disappointing service, but the food was good. We tipped the busboy as much as the server because his service was 15x better than the waiters. If youre going to eat here, dont arrive hungry.

I can t say enough about this restaurant. Not only is it delish, it is CONSISTENTLY delish. These days, you are fortunate if you can find good food. And if you can find good food where they have not changed to lower quality ingredients to cut costs and I get it, the pandemic has been brutal for restaurants it seems that one visit will be great and the next time you go, doesn t even seem like the same place. Every time I have been here before and since the pandemic. From the first bite to the last, predictably as good or better than the last time I was there. The ambience is truly very cozy and intimate, whether you are wanting to have a special celebration with a few friends or a romantic dinner for two. The only thing that I hate about this restaurant is that I have so many favorites that it is always hard for me to choose I luv the escargot, the crab tower, and the soufflé trio with a great cappuccino and just too much else to list. After reading the reviews, this place seemed amazing and we were so excited to try it. We made reservations to celebrate a birthday and seemed a great place to do so. Once we arrived we immediately got asked how old are y all by the waitress which was strange because even with the fact that we look young, usually waiters or waitresses ask to see our ID first before making any assumptions. Once we got a drink, the waitress passed by our table many times without asking once if we were ready for an appetizer or anything else. We had our reservation at 7:00 and decided it was time to leave at 7:30 once we did not receive any real service. Our family owns a restaurant so I knew never to be upset at the wait staff if they were busy or something happened out of their control, but this seemed very intentional. The managers were kind enough to ask us to stay, but the experience was enough to throw us off completely. We unfortunately were very disappointed with our experience.

I don t know where these great reviews are coming from. This is absolutely the worst food I have ever had.We drove from the woodlands to humble to check this place out. The Rack of lamb was flavorless and then worst yet at one point had what I m sure was bad lamb, instantly went from flavorless to disgusted. Didn t know where to spit it out, after attempting to swallow twice my body would just not let me do it, I had to run to the restroom to spit it out. Tried the filet mignon And it was ok, but again flavorless. The bread was good, the crab meat tower was actually excellent, but the dinner menu items were so bad that I will not return.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the greater Houston area. We come a few times a year for special occasions. On special occasions, when we go to other places that are more expensive than others, we end up regretting not coming here; others seem to be pricey just for the sake of it.
