I generally don t write reviews, but after the humiliating experience today, posting one if it helps anyone in future. The place is great overall to spend time and the staff handling rides is amazing, and treat you politely inspite of working outdoors in Texas heat. My experience at the ticket counter is where the entire experience turned humiliating and horrific. I purchased a $25 card and later went to the ticket counter to ask if I can pay the remaining money and convert to a play pass. The girl seemed clueless and said let me check with my manager. Waited for a few mins , manager arrives and when I asked this question, said in an angry tone that he cannot do it. Fine till here. He lost his temper and literally yelled with arms in air in front of my 5yr old who was there to celebrate his birthday on a simple question are there any games inside which are less than $5 and I can use up remaining balance on my prev card. I still am lost, why did the mr manager lose his temper? You work in a service industry, and you are yelling at me in front of my child, seriously??. Had I been there with anyone else, would have turned around never to look back. But today, had to keep a happy face for the sake of my kid. If anyone at this place in admin is reading this, get your front desk folks , especially the angry manager trained in people basics at service industry. I did apologize to you, but seriously you didn t deserve one. You work there, you could have simply told me yes, we have arcades that are less than $5 , instead of saying you don t know, Simple. If you don t know your arcades, there is a bigger problem with your manager tag. Was there really a need to yell and later apologize with a complimentary band for me? Get your BP checked Mr manager and stop ruining people experience. Do t do this to anyone , especially in front of their young kids.

The place is very well organized. The attractions are fun, especially the go karts, the bad thing is that it took a long time to change the go kart groups. In conclusion, perfect to spend with your family, you can spend a whole day there!

Had my daughters bday here this past weekend and everything was great. Host was super friendly, and accommodated us fully. Super clean bathrooms (men and women), ladies bussing the tables were on point and fast with getting tables cleaned up. Buffet was always stocked up and all rides worked great. ONLY complaint I have is from the people coming here. Please listen to the workers. Rules are set for safety. Saw a ton of people being rude to the workers when they were the ones not following rules/directions. 1 person was working the little kid section (carousel, roller coaster, and firetruck ride) for a few hours and not many people were patient.

I do not recommend this place, yesterday September 22, 2024, after working under the sun and earning my money with a lot of effort, I took my children to this place so they could have fun because my oldest son was turning 8 years old, I paid two bracelets for the amount of $100 and the children couldnt get on any ride, we queued for cars for more than 1 hour and when we finally arrived they were not the right height and I couldnt get on with them because I should have bought a bracelet for myself, and they made excuses and excuses like it was 7:30, the other games were supposedly closed, then I went inside and they said I had to pay a card, I argued with a very rude manager, that it was better to leave the place, feeling cheated or stolen, my children came out sad If we dont have the opportunity to play any game, its unfair that they rob us like that.

Played a round of mini golf on a beautiful day. The course was fun with little obstacles and fun decorations. Many laughs were had. This course is perfect for anyone wanting to have a good time. The whole outdoors area was clean and well kept. The interior was huge! Very clean with a lot of fun things to do.

This place truly has something for everyone. The arcade is packed with a great variety of games, and the go-karts offer a thrilling ride for both kids and adults. The mini-golf course is beautifully designed, with twisty-turvey holes that make the game enjoyable for all skill levels. The two roller coasters are amazing! One of them goes up and down, the other one is a regular roller coaster thats extremely aggressive but I loved it!! The staff is friendly too, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Whether youre celebrating a birthday or just looking for a fun day out, Austins Parks and Pizza is the perfect destination. Highly recommended!

We went on a Thursday afternoon and the employees were rude. Also be aware of false advertisement, online they offer the buffet bundle but when we arrived they said the buffet was closed. Instead they issued us arcade cards for the amount extra we would have paid for the food. Also lack of employees at many of the attractions. So since there was no employee at the laser tag, everyone was waiting around and then nobody would show up. Also the out door attractions didnt have any employees so again we paid for nothing. Why charge customers for unlimited attractions if your not gonna give them what they pay for. I always had fond memories of this place growing up but now I will never return.

This place has so much potential to be great and fun but unfortunately has become so low class and just not safe to take kids. This is the second time a fight broke out while we were there, and not just a small one. Would never recommend having a kids birthday party here when this is a common issue. You would think they would do something to prevent these things when the majority of their advertising is geared towards families and kids. Even without the lack of security, the party rooms are small, cabinets/counters have dried up food on them and look like they havent been cleaned in months, tables are old and sound like theyre about to break, and the food wasnt very good. They make the party packages sound great but in reality nothing is as it sounds and they just need to do better. There are so many better options for a kids birthday. We will not be going back.

We went there for our Grandsons 6th Birthday Party on 8/10/24. We were all having a good time until a major fight broke out by the front doors inside. It was two groups of people fighting and bashing each other heads in. The security couldnt even break it up. So police was called. We had to sneak out where to bar was to get out safely. The Ambulances was called so someone must have gotten hurt. This is supposed to be a kid friendly and safe place to have a birthday party with family and friends. I cant believe that Austin Park & Pizza let this happen. We will never go back to Austin Park & Pizza again because it is not a safe place to be.

We went for the first time and the place was so fun! There was so much to do and everything was nice and clean. We came on a day that they were short staffed on the outside stuff and the staff worked really hard to keep things running smoothly with all the rides. Mohammed was particularly great working hard doing multiple rides and still being so nice and friendly. Super fun, clean, good food, and friendly staff! We will definitely be back!

Austins Park is a fantastic spot for both indoor and outdoor fun! With an impressive variety of activities like arcade games, bowling, go-karts, exciting rides, and laser tag, it caters to all ages and interests. The moment we stepped in, the vibrant and lively atmosphere set the stage for a fun-filled day. The food was diverse and delicious, perfect for satisfying any craving. The bar area was a great place for the adults in our group to unwind and enjoy some drinks. With so many engaging attractions, it s easy to lose track of time while having a blast with friends and family. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ensuring we had a good time. The only downside of our visit was the cleanliness of the restrooms. While the rest of the park was well-maintained, the restrooms could definitely use more frequent attention. It didn t significantly impact our overall experience, but it s an area for improvement. Despite that, Austin s Park still provides a memorable and fun adventure, and we will gladly return for more excitement!

This review covers two visits, one last summer (2023) with my family, and another this summer (2024) with my team from work. I did different activities during each visit. During the first visit, my family stuck to the unlimited attractions. We started with the outdoor mini-golf. Im terrible at mini-golf, but Im also competitive, so Im always game for it. The 18-hole course was pretty standard for what few games of mini-golf Ive played, but its major drawback at the time of year we went is its nearly complete lack of shade. My spouse and kids started wilting not long after starting; and by the time we got a few holes past the middle, they gradually had all sought refuge within the AC indoors and left me to finish by myself (like I said, I may be terrible at it, but Im also competitive). My recommendation to visitors is to save this one for earlier in the day or for the cooler months; and my recommendation to Austins is to put regularly spaced coverings throughout the course along with a few fan misters for relief from the sun. Indoors, people recovered with some more passive activities: rides. I went on at least one of the coasters, and although it was short, it also wasnt bad. My kids range from elementary school to young adult, and they all went multiple times. They also did the tower ride, which they also enjoyed. This was despite the fact that they all have been to large amusement parks with much more intense and thrilling rides; but I think after the time outdoors, it was about the right change of pace and in an air conditioned space. After that, they were ready for something more active, but indoors. That meant laser tag. I like laser tag, and my children enjoyed the opportunity to do virtual violence against each other and especially their father. They had more energy for that game, so we did a few rounds of it before even I was winded enough to be done for the day. My second visit was a work team-building activity. This time, I got a taste of the reserved extras that do not come with the unlimited attractions pass. We started with the indoor 12-hole mini-golf, Putt Vegas, with decor featuring Las Vegass mob origins, gambling, casinos, and showgirls. It was fun enough, though I personally would have liked a full 18-hole course and more interactive or mechanized features for the price. The latter in particular is a missed opportunity: there were multiple decorations such as slot machines, roulette tables, and even a little coaster that looked like an almost perfect size for a golf ball that more than one person expected to be interactive or to have a function at the particular hole where it was located. I know I was not the only one disappointed to find out that they were only decorations. Next, we tried out the bowling alley, another paid reserved activity. Im lousy at bowling, too but again, Im competitive and do enjoy it. The first thing I noticed was that the consistently good-at-sports people on the team all had rough starts, including the ones I knew from experience were solid bowlers. When my turn came up, my amateur eye still noticed that the ball did not behave the way I expected. I noticed the lane looked pretty scuffed up when the light hit it right, and then one of my teammates who is one of the better bowlers complained that the curve balls he and others in his league were attempting were not working because the floor had not been oiled. They quickly adapted, but Ive seen them all perform better than they could on the lanes we were using. Our boss ordered some chicken strips, celery and carrot sticks, chips, queso, and salsa for us. The food was nothing special, but it was free to me and helped pass the time between frames, which enhanced it. The chicken strips were somewhat overcooked, but smothering them in queso (which was decent) helped to mask that. I have eaten better food at a bowling alley, but it was serviceable for the occasion. That activity concluded this visit. Between the two trips, Id say Austins is passable, but it could be better with some needed changes.

Worst experience!!! We tried to enjoy roller coster, and after a big line, they closed, then we went to karts after 50 minutes they closed it for weather . A lady told us to go to the cashier and get the refund . No refund at all . I paid in cash, but they didnt give me the receipt The manager had a bad attitude and laughed after I explained everything . Telling I was lying. Staff is so rude . Dont waste your money here . It seems like our visit was at the beginning of the stores season, so staffing was minimal and not all rides had been opened. We participated in laser tag, go-kart racing, and slider kart racing, also. The go-kart tracks were so much fun for my approximately teenage kids). The facilitys staff (through occasional remote control engine governor intervention) kept the karts grouped closely and the competition tight. Also, thankfully, the staff remained highly conscious of my familys safety and all visitors enjoyment at the same time.

I came here with my cousins and in the past we have had so much fun however now it s safe to say this location and establishment is no longer fun to be at 1.outrageous prices now it s not worth it at all 2.my cousins and I were on the go karts and I got the whistle blown at me why? Because in this game you want to be number one when racing and to overtake someone you have to cut corners however they have. Gotten severely strict that I came in light contact to overtake someone that is known to happen 3. Every single worker has a a face of boredom and or upset face they didint make us feel welcome at all or even excited to be here when I was trying to pay their is a sign that says no cash and when I went up to the register I asked do you guys really not take cash to double check and she said I just took cash from him which I didn t see and I m there like wow what s with the attitude 4.overall not a very fun place to go to anymore super expensive their is so many more places to go to to get a better bang for your buck I will not be back

We are from Ohio and visiting family here. This was also their 1st time. Let me say you Austin s did not disappoint. We spent 7 hours from rock climbing, go karts, water bumper boats (they squirt), laser tag, 2 story merry-go-round, putt putt, to the XD shooting game. The buffet was great as you can come and go as much as you want w/the right purchase. So no cramming a bunch of food at once. They do provide coolers outside for quick drinks. We went on Wednesday July 3rd not crowded at all. Now onto some GREAT INCREDIBLE Workers Steven and Takira (sorry if misspelled). They were patient, polite, funny, just all around Wonderful! We did meet a couple more before we left Madison, and unsure of the gentleman names near by, we did make sure to tell the Manager on duty as you all should be PROUD of them and the outstanding job they are doing. Thank You again and next time i visit we will be back.

First off it s going to be 4.5 stars only because they don t have more water rides and you know it gets real hot in Texas during the summer. For $60 each person you can spend the whole day here, with tons of activities to do indoors and outdoors. And they give military discount so it s actually less than 60 if you have military ID. They have bowling, laser tag arcade games, 3-D virtual reality. Rockclimbing,climbing, Pool tables darts, indoor miniature golf, and outdoor miniature golf. go kart rides, bumper, boats, bumper, cars, and a small indoor roller coaster. The $60 includes an unlimited pizza, salad, and pasta buffet, plus drinks and dessert. Buffet is open from 11 am until 7 pm. So the have a great time & eat lunch and dinner.

Ghetto. Musty. Dirty.. Staff is very rude. Unclear of instructions, when ask for more detail they rush us off then get mad when we make mistakes?! Was pushed by some lady, when she cut me in line. People let their kids run wild, running into each other. Family of four spent $180+ was here for less than an hour. Rode the 2 indoor rides, that s it. The 2 rides were decent not worth almost $200. Would never come back - do not recommend.

I payed on line for 5 ppl tickets, and when I got there, the lady with glasses ( June 30. 2024 ) would not let me nor my kids inn. Due to the fact I didnt have my bank card , they have a policy where you show ID AND CREDIT CARD NAME. I showed account name and transaction of recipient card being mailed still not allowed inn .... finally, management let us inn after 45mins and i ask for refund but they refuse and the Food service close 4 hours before closing time and isnt all great...

Major dissapointment. Where do I begin? Showed up at 1100 am to take the grandkids bowling. The lady at the front rang me up. I then was told to go stand where the bowling area was. 10 minutes later I went back over to her. (I will post a picture of the rudest cashier ever) I asked her nicely if she could stop ringing up people as we already paid and get us set up for a bowling lane and give us our shoes. She said NO. I told her I already paid, you have the people wait and help us since we PAID. She made me wait another 30 minutes. Not one manager in sight. Once she practically threw the shoes at us, we decided to order food. This was a joke!! never got the fries and waters we ordered for the kids. 30 minutes after we left I got a text saying your food is on the way!! we were gone. we were charged and they never refunded the money. keep in mind we bowled 2 full games. that takes time, kids were complaining of where is our food..... This place has gone downhill....I usually dont leave reviews, but this is not the first time this has happened. dont get me started about the guy working at the laser tag that just hates humans!!! Ill save that for another day...NOT. I would expect management to follow up and make this right. Go ahead and go blow $200.00 , they dont care about their customers!

Just had an event here, but to be honest its no longer worth the trip. The room we had the event was HOT, because the AC wasnt working. Its even more expensive then before. I was excited for the carts, but 1st of all line took forever and finally when I got into the ride by the looks of it most of them where failing and you would be stuck in the middle of the track while the sun cooks you... and the food was not all the employees were nice. Looks like almost all arcade games are $1.00+...

Dissapointing place. Not so much that their isnt stuff to do, they go out of their way to rip you off. Not worth the price in my opinion. Buffet is awful. Had a toddler that met 36 inch height limit, gave him a wristband only to be told he couldnt ride half the rides by the operators who are basically kids themselves. The ground is uneven so when they measure they come up short and will tell you they cant ride. The managers even acknowledge this and still say its the operators decision. If he meets the 36 inch height requirement in the lobby and you give him a bracelet, he should be allowed to ride the toddler rides! Especially if the parent is standing/sitting right next to him! Probably wont be coming back here and wouldnt suggest to anyone.

I agree, there needed to be more open rides and quicker turnover between sets of riders for that and other rides. Its unorganized, teens running the rides. People coming in after us going before us. Straight garbage.

had my sons birthday party here one year and have continued to frequent this amusement park. he loves the go karts which is the deal breaker when deciding which local amusement park to visit. we are frequent Disney travellers so his opinion is pretty valuable when giving the thumbs up or down to local amusement parks

Ooof. Horrible customer service experience, if you can even call it that. We sat at one of the tables at Austins grill and bar . The guy came over, got us some waters, placed our order for an APPETIZER, and NEVER came back to finish taking the rest of our order. What makes it worse is that they weren t even busy! There was one other table there before us that had gotten their food and two small groups (2 3ppl) that sat at the bar about 20mins after we arrived. We sat waiting for the rest of our order to be taken, correction, we sat waiting for the check because we were not going to order the rest of our food after the unbelievable / inexcusable wait. We ended up waiting almost 30 minutes!!!! After our appetizer to be attended to. In all honesty, we shouldn t have paid and walked out. That was the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in my life. (:

Absolutely worst customer service possible! They closed the outside part from 1-6 ON A FRIDAY for a private event and expected guests to simply accommodate them. We didn t arrive until 11:45 so my kids had such little time outside. I asked for the manger and requested some type of discount be given and his attitude was disgusting (eye roll completed with a head pop with attitude) My children were watching so I didn t make a scene. Others beware!

My son and I were here for a school field trip and he really wanted to do the go karts. After we ate lunch he went to the go karts and ended up waiting in line for an hour and a half! The only reason it got one star was because he said the ride itself was really fun. But overall it was not worth it. There needed to be more open rides and quicker turnover between sets of riders for that and other rides.

Had a fun mini golf afternoon. We ended up with a tie score. The greens are very well-maintained and the flow of the course is nice. You need to watch the green number your on because at one point the two separate 18 hole courses cross. If you dont pay attention to the green names you could end up finishing the other course. I like the water features and the ambiance. The courses are not too difficult to make it frustrating but just challenging enough to be competitive. Go enjoy some old fashioned mini golf fun!

I must say that if you want to try buffet, dont expect a regular buffet, they have way less items than you could think of, Im so disappointed in the buffet, but theres an advantage that you pay once, and come back anytime from 11-7 to get more food and drinks

Its not really a affordable place to take your kids to play and eat the buffet. I only have one grandson and cost me about 100.00 just for him only. My grandson son flies in only 3x a year so I always try to make his visit a fun one but this place is very high priced.

Quick to take your money, then tell you every single video game is inoperable. System was down, every machine just spinning an error message about searching for an IP. Remember when video games worked without sophisticated cards that require complex servers and connectivity? So outside I guess, where everything is completely unprepared for guests . It s like the employees casually show up at the park opening time also and need a good hour or more to get things up, ready, and running. Same with the food - nothing ready or prepared. When it was it was gross. Total rip off. Sorry - no refunds! We knew our machines were down when we took your money and you d not be able to play anything but we did it anyway!

We come here for the go karts, you have to turn them all on and quit trying to save gas and having us wait in long lines for no reason we pay enough for that. This is my favorite place to come on Saturday get to meet new people, some cool employees. A lot of good things to say. They have go-karts, bumper boats, laser tags, indoor and outdoor roller coaster, batting cages arcade Games, Bowling Alley, and my opinion good pizza buffet.... Could use improvements of line management to maximize the number of people that can ride on single karts so you dont have to wait. Run all 20 instead of 11. You can have all 20 of the family karts line going but only half of the Speedway Sprint Kart... my only discrepancy.

We came here for a birthday party thinking they would have attractions for our 2.5 year old and none of them were really suitable for kids 3 and under: I think they should update their website and google description to 3yo+kids friendly so that way parents know what to expect. The staff was friendly with the rules which is good but that s it. Food was ok, it s just buffet food, not a lot of flavor but at least it was mostly fresh.

Dont get me wrong. The place is fun, 2 stars fun. But the actual customer service is horrible. The managers take forever just to send my awful food back. Those are not mozzarella sticks. It was some sort of crumbley cheese. We sit at a table for 1.5 hours . Just to hear some dude argue with me about weather or not it was mozzarella then really made me pay 9 dollars for 3 drinks that we had 2 sips out of because it took 30 minutes to even order drinks and another 30 to get them to the table. Then I went to go let the main manager know that I paid over 100 dollars for two kids and I lost a whole hour and a half. And he said he would have to charge me the ten dollars for the game card that they each used once on the way to the restraunt if I dropped it to a smaller package. The buffet was closed. The bowling that comes with the VIP makes you pay 4.50 each for shoes no big but the front desk doesnt mention that when they make you choose the vegas golf or bowling. Every worker there look scared or miserable. My 8 yr old always says thank you to each attendant and no one ever smiles and only one out of every ride said it back but only after I looked at them like did you hear her everyone is seriously rude. One girl who seemed to be in charge was very busy flirting across rides the entire time my kids were on go karts or the carousel. So much that when my daughter got scared and was looking for a kart she was literally looking for someone to help her. I see the go kart attendant I think Is about to answer my wave and call for assistance .... but he was yelling across the ride to her saying something personal and had the biggest smile until I had to interrupt him and tell him she was trying to get out. He wasnt ugly about it or anything but he was not even aware my 8 yr old was about to panic trying to figure out how to get out. There were 3 people at the carousel. One was that lead girl and all I can here from across the way is hows your girlfriend and her laughing and and flipping her hair. The man running the little kid Rollercoaster looked really miserable. The kid running the kiddie carts was unfriendly and looked miserable. He was the only one to say youre welcome. The kid running the fire chief looked like he was doing okay. The laser tag guy... very nice. The bowling guy... very nice. Then my son won like 4 ticket rings. The girl in the way way over priced reward store had no idea how to add those to his card. Literally half that girls job. But anyway. Here we are waiting for over 30 minutes for a manager again. We were there until 20 minutes after close. Horrible awful terrible customer service. Ill be doing all 4 of my kids parties at Main Event from now on. They actually do have very good customer service and are polite, the food is great. Everyone looks like they want to be there. 9/10 do not recommend this place unless you want rude miserable people all around you. Except the laser tag guy and bowling guy. Or unless you want to see a boy crazy shift leader and money grabbing managers. Just a side note this was last night... and it was not at all busy. Barley lines anywhere. I donrscoment all those people find better places to work and maybe they will be happy. I wont be spending over 300 dollars there for my family to go there ever again and I will recommend to all my clients and family that they go to the other 2 event places in town. This is way over priced. For that amount of money youd think we could get at least medeocre customer service.

Amazing service from Fernando working the bar. Customer service skills are amazing. Hospitality skills are on point. Speed and accuracy all around with Fernando. I will be returning with more guests to enjoy the beautiful park. The recent remodel done came out amazing. Love the flooring/decor that came from Floor&Decor, really made the look come together. Thanks again to Fernando and the manager Lewis for making the visit perfect.

Kid s had a great birthday party experience. 5 stars on that. The outdoors area was a bit understaffed such as 1 person running go-karts which created quite a line. But, overall, the kids had a great time. Indoors was all working. Would not hesitate to come back but I sure felt sorry for the young lady having to run the entire go kart area by herself for 2 hours.

Staff was extremely rude from start to finish. Didn t matter who you spoke to. Immediately when we came in, I knew we should have left. I purchased VIP bands online before we made the drive, only to be told bowling wasn t available and that I cannot be refunded for the cost of it. In addition to this, none of their systems worked, so it took about 15 minutes to receive the $10 game cards you get with the VIP purchase. Luckily, they had some on hand as none of their computers worked. We went outside and did outdoor attractions first, then ate at the buffet; which was extremely lackluster. Have you ever heard of a cheese and olive pizza? Welp. They had that as one of the two options at the buffet. Beyond this, NONE of the indoor arcade games worked, and we left with $75 worth of game cards, unable to use or refund them, and no intention to return. Awful experience for celebrating a child s birthday.

After buying game cards and him giving us direction to the arcade area never said a word about them not working. They want to keep making the profit I guess, but no one cares anymore in society. We spent about $300 for low quality food and bad service. the employees harassed my kids by ripping the bracelet off their hand forcefully and disrespected me. I talked with a manager and he did not do anything then I called the police. I do not recommend Austin s at all.

Super fun place to visit as a group of friends with plenty of cool things to entertain on a rainy day. We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was quiet, which was nice because we didn t have to wait to play any arcade games, but they were a little light on staff so we had to go looking for someone if we wanted anything that required assistance. Would definitely come here again!

I came to enjoy the go karts. When I was in line waiting for a long time, an employee came and took me out because I was about 1 inch away and she herself sent me to that line, she made me feel very bad and I cried because they were about to close and I couldnt get in just once, she sent me there before and when my turn came he took me out.
