Decent park. The dog park is really nice. The outdoor pavilion is pretty cool. Lots of places to sit and enjoy a day outside. The restrooms are usually clean. This is a good park to take the family to.

They used to have an outside paying public swimming pool I enjoyed very much and sold food and sodas picked and chips hotdogs etc. Man that was great days now they want pearlanders to pay for the dumb natatorium

Very nice playground for kids, bathrooms on site. Big huge park area. Ample parking... Playground: Nice! Toilets: Adequate Dog-friendliness: On leash at playground, but theres a dog park within. But no water inside the dog area?! Huh? Got to fill a bucket outside fence and bring it in... nothing to play with unless you bring it.

Attended a concert and had my stuff stolen. Very disappointed that people do not respect your personel items. Huge let down and never again will I attend or recommend to anyone. Police presence didnt make a difference and venue was totally disorganized.

The grounds & stage are great. The tunnel provides shelter & shade while walking to find a spot to set up. The restroom I used was clean. Being the mom of Bourbon Street Band member that performed, my guests of nine that attended really liked the park, also. Look forward to next time

Nice clean and spacious family friendly park deep inside Pearland. Theres plenty of room for a picnic and BBQ, and a nice playground for the kiddos to expend their energy. Theres also plenty of shade from mature oak trees all over the park grounds as well.

The park has been through renovations recently and they have done wonders. There is ample of parking, restrooms, park benches. The park is clean and well maintained. Caters to various activities for all age groups- kids play ground to covered / shaded areas for games like basketball. There is also a dog park next to it. Has good number of trees and the lawn was well maintained green. A good relaxing place to just stroll around.

We visited on a sunny Saturday morning in September around 10:00 a.m. There were some folks on the basketball courts and several people with their dogs on leashes. The first thing I noticed was the public restroom - which is a huge plus - as well as the accessible jungle gym. It was built to allow a person in a wheelchair (and others with limited mobility) to traverse all the way to the top without needing to use stairs! There were still lots of opportunities to climb, swing, and jump for the little boys that were running around playing hide and seek, but I was really impressed by the thoughtful design. There were some shaded areas but for the most part it was in the sun. We will definitely visit again.

I grew up in Pearland, and remember Independence Park being a bit run down. They have done some huge upgrades and have made improvements, added new features and made a clear effort to increase security, maintenance and landscaping. Highly recommend for a game of basketball, a picnic, or just a day out with friends and family!

Love the 2 sided park for both big and small dogs. Great people that we have met an become friends. The dogs are like bffs an well behaved. Keep in mind like all Dog parks. Their only as good as the two legged pets take care an pride of the 4 legged owners. Please help and pick up after them.

This is a beautiful, well-planned park in the Pearland TX community. Easily accessible and affords many amenities for all ages. Our group was there for a photo shoot, and there were many spots from which to choose. We were near a playground, which looked to be really a good fit for children, as it was busy. Very clean restrooms were nearby. There were sidewalks, picnic tables and benches. It was very clean and parking was plenty. Although we don t live in the community, our granddaughter and her family do. We would like to perhaps have a larger family gathering at this park.

Great park! We went on a weekend they were having a Farmers Market and even with that and youth sport events happening, the place still had plenty of parking. They had a sign saying the Market happens every 3rd Saturday of the month, in case youre interested. They have an outdoor basketball court, a nice treed area with a playground and restrooms, and good sized walking paths. Its our favorite park in the area!

I went to the park because the organization that was running my childs soccer camp chose this sight. There were plenty of people in the park, doing multiple activities. There were people playing basketball, walking through the park, playing in the playground, etc. Everyone that I encountered appeared to be respectful. This is a beautiful park and Ill definitely go back some day to relax and enjoy the scenery.
