So I decided to go and support a local business instead of spending my money at Guitar Center and I m so glad I did. I just needed to replace one string from my bass that was broken. They just happened to have had a used one laying around. Mike measured my string then replaced it and even tuned it right in front of me explaining his actions step by step as if I was in a class. They had 7 brand new amplifiers on the floor and many used ones. I got a new one for $70. It has a huge book section! So many guitars that I had to leave before I went broke. I would definitely come here again for anything I need in relation to instruments.

I blame myself for bringing my sons trumpet for service. What a joke this place is. I handed the trumpet to them Monday, July 22. The clerk said wont be picked up until Thursday the 25th and it ll take a week. Come the following Thursday, nothing. Clerk said service guy is bringing it Saturday. I call Saturday. Ohh, the guy is coming later on. I call again, and no one picked up. I call Monday, the same thing, he is coming later. Called again, and clerk said Tuesday. I called Tuesday Aug 6 and the same answer. I hate to leave reviews like this to a small business but maybe this is a Comedy club because it s laughable. DO NOT bring your equipment for service because whoever the service guy is, it s priceless!!

I had never been to the Music Factory before but everyone was so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. You can tell they really love music. I just got my new guitar and went here to get it set up. I also wanted different strings a specific sound while still being comfortable to play for me. They recommended the perfect strings and did an amazing job setting up my guitar it sounded just how I wanted and plays like a dream. Thank you so much Ill be back anytime I need anything guitar related!

Best music store in the area. There are so many unique and rare finds that most other music stores would never even consider stocking. Chase is a wealth of knowledge, you can tell he has a passion for music just from a 5 minute conversation. Chase has given me so much gear advice over the years; no other store has been this knowledgeable

Today, I had the best time browsing this wonderful music store. The place is packed to the rafters and beyond with guitars, bass guitars, bass ukuleles, Ukeleles, beautifully decorated violins, harps, and they also have acoustic piano, synthesizers, a string bass, mandolins, brass instruments, woodwind instruments, all in a very cozy, Musician friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be going there again.

Was looking to buy a bass amp and Luke was extraordinarily helpful over the phone, letting me know a decent price range and that they just got some new ones he hadn t gotten a chance to look at. I decided to come in and I m so happy I did!! Chase and Luke were both really great to talk to, found me an awesome amp, and I just had an overall wonderful experience! I would recommend this place to any guitar enthusiast. I brought in an electric guitar that I bought from a friend and although it was playable, it needed some TLC in a bad way. I was happy to have a working guitar to play but decided as an early Xmas present to myself, I would take it in and see what the guys at Music Factory could do with it. I got the luthier setup and had the nut replaced and this thing plays like a dream!! Its set up so perfectly that I don t have to make any adjustments whatsoever!! That s more time I can spend strictly enjoying playing because I no longer have to worry about making adjustments and it holds tune like a champ. The fellas that run the place really know their craft and are super nice and cool. I will indefinitely be a Music Factory customer and I give them highest praise for their courtesy, knowledge, and service.

My son just had his second drum lesson with LA and he couldnt be happier neither can the wife and I. This place needs al the love it can get. Gc will ways make its money just like Walmart. These small music shops are so few these days it hurts my heart. Plese go ateast check them out buy some strings a pic or two they habe some super cool stuff there as well you probably didnt know you needed lol.

Nice space, crammed to the ceiling with instruments, mostly guitars and full of amps and display cabinets and keyboards and such. A place with character and soul, old school coolness and not a big box store. Friendly, helpful staff, offers music lessons and tune-up and repairs. First came into the store in early 2019 to look for sheet music and there was a sufficient amount from which to chose. Second visit, CHASE sold me used Ovation Acoustic Guitar on July 1, 2019 and I paid for a hard case at that time, which was supposed to be ordered (as there were none in the store for this guitar). Fast forward December 6, 2019, and despite telephonic conversations with CHASE that the hard case had been ordered and despite asking that he, at the very least, keep me apprised of the orders status, NO CASE has been received. Had entertained actually purchasing additional instruments from this store, but NEVER AGAIN! CHASE, as the representative of The Music Factory, LIED! At this point, I am requesting my payment for the guitar case be returned and will never again make any purchases (including instruments) from this establishment! Their loss of a purchasing customer.

Took my son s saxophone in for repairs. The saxophone was there for over 2 weeks. I had to keep calling and checking. They did offer a loaner instrument for the last few days I had the instrument and a discount. I never did get the discount (probably because I paid in full the day I dropped off the instrument before any repairs were done) and when my son took his saxophone back to school, his teacher asked how much did I pay ($108) because not much work was done to it. I won t even drive back over there for a full refund even if it was offered, that s how upset I am. It s the principle of it all. I feel like when I pay my hard earned money for something, I should get what I pay for. The people in the store are kind as far as customer service goes but I do not recommend for repairs.

Great experience here!! Products are a bit more expensive than bigger commercial stores, but their service makes up for it. Never going to guitar center ever again!! Guitar center employees are sexist douche bags, but you can tell it is a family friendly atmosphere here, where everyone is treated with equal respect! Highly recommended

Ive been going here since I started playing years ago. Chase has always been very good to me, as well as the rest of the crew. There have been times I would be unsure of a purchase, and Chase had told me to take it home and if I dont like it bring it back. The only i can say for these guys.. I think if they would stock high end guitars like Taylor, Gibson, Fender, Martin, etc, they would get even bigger business. Great place to go !!

Best music joint in the area awesome equipment, amazing teachers, feels like a family. They really take care of you here. Chase is crazy nice and handles just about everything you could need, and John is the best guitar teacher I ve ever had. He even plays gigs around the state every week, yet still manages to make it here and share his wealth of knowledge. Bought my first electric here and am definitely a lifetime customer now. Super recommended.

I just walked in this place and looked around for about 5 minutes. No one ever came out to ask me if I needed help or anything. All of a sudden the phone rings from a few feet away from me behind a book shelf and I hear a chair creak. After about 3 rings a guy answers the phone. I don t hear a conversation after that, and I m thinking this is so bizarre. I was so creeped out and left. What in the world?! What kind of business is this??? Will never go back!!

This place deserves more then 5 stars. I have never once had bad customer service. The employees are all very kind, helpful, and generous. They even restrung my Floyd Rose for free(and put free strings on) and gave me a new jacket when I broke mine. They wouldnt let me pay them no matter how much I insisted. Amazing attention to detail and superior customer service. I took in a guitar to get pickups rewired and the guitar setup. I went to buy a box of reeds which cost $21 at any store and they charged me $40. Then I noticed that the Box was different and showed it to my teachers, they told me that the company who made those reeds stopped making this specific package 10 years ago. I can not believe this store not only ripped me off, they sold me reads that are a decade old. Dont come to this store
