Always great food when i visit. This time, I chose to get the lunch All You Can Eat option. Unfortunately, they had a more limited menu of options than dinner, but it was still delicious. I wanted to try a new sushi roll. I noticed that some of the descriptions said it had cheese, and others said cream cheese. When the rolls came to the table, I learned that both the cheese and cream cheese on the roll descriptions both meant cream cheese. I dont care for cream cheese on my sushi rolls, so the server just explained not to eat it and that I could order something else that I wanted to try. It was an honest mistake on my part, and she helped resolve the issue. I appreciated them for the simple solution. The drink i ordered was a thai tea, which is always delicious here! I will return to enjoy again and again solo as well as with friends and family.

Despite going on the weekend, the service at the restaurant was remarkably quick. I got the hibachi steak. It tasted good, but the steak was tough and hard to chew. My husband ordered the all-you-can-eat sushi and really enjoyed it.

Food was good, nothing spectacular but it was up to par. Atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service is really where it s lacking. The server himself was doing well, seemed busy all the time so I didn t hold it against him. However, upon our first order, my food came out within about 15 minutes; I ordered two kinds of sushi, an appetizer roll and 10 nigiri pieces. My wife ordered gyoza, an eggroll, and chicken hibachi. This order took over 30 minutes to be received which was unexpected and slightly upsetting after waiting for ten minutes in the lobby looking at the multiple open tables in the restaurant. I also noticed some other guests who came in after us received their orders much quicker than we did. I am not upset now with a full belly, I just wish the wait time wasn t as lengthy. Overall 3/5 6.5/10 Food 7.5/10 Atmosphere 8/10 Server Attitude and Dedication 3/10 Kitchen Speed

We finally tried Edo after hearing about it from so many people and we were definitely not disappointed! They have some sort of happy hour offer every day of the week including the weekends. For all you can eat the kids are charged by their heights and you have 2 options for the leftovers either charge it and leave it or pay a set price and take leftovers home. They are also very allergen friendly and the service was amazing! Every piece of sushi was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back!

Food was great. Service was good. That Ryan guy gives top notch service. If theres one thing I could say is that maybe include desert with the all you can eat. Parking: Good parking in front of store. Kid-friendliness: They have booster seats. Wheelchair accessibility: Dont have to go to second floor so wheelchair accessibility is pretty basic.

Update: still good sushi bang for buck! Theyve added a Deluxe dinner menu for $31.99 that now includes extra items including sashimi and mochi ice cream. You also get one alcoholic drink such as house wine or domestic beer included in the price. Imported beers are an additional $1. Sashimi was nicely cut and the beers were cold! Fast, clean, and all you can eat!! Came on a Friday night and it was popping, but still found a nice table for 4. We sat down and started filling out our menu sheet and dropped it off with our waiter. Food promptly began showing up at our table. We ordered quite a bit but all said and done our order completely showed up within 30 mins, if not less. Dont expect MF Sushi vibes here, but the food looks and tastes clean. Cant really ask much more than that at a sushi buffet. Prices are reasonable, though its a little higher on Fridays and the weekends. Come check out this AYCE Sushi place in Pearland!

Disappointing Sushi Experience with Room for Improvement I recently re-visited Edo Japan sushi restaurant and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The service was notably poor, with a lack of sufficient servers leading to slow and inefficient service. Some of my food orders arrived significantly late, detracting from the overall dining experience. One of the key disappointments was the thickness of the sashimi slices, which were much thicker than expected, impacting the texture and taste of the dish. Additionally, the shrimp tempura was heavily coated in flour, overpowering the delicate flavors of the shrimp and leaving a less than satisfactory impression. On a more positive note, the restaurant itself had a decent ambiance and overall was not a bad place to dine. However, improvements in service efficiency, food quality, and attention to detail are necessary to elevate the dining experience to meet customers expectations. Overall, while the sushi restaurant shows potential, the current shortcomings in service and food quality prevent it from delivering a truly exceptional dining experience.

Had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my 13 year olds birthday at Edo Japan last night. Made reservations the day before and we only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to bring in a cake. The food was pretty great. We all did the all you can eat dinner (except my 3 year old) who only wanted fries and nuggets. When the food finally arrived, the only issues we had was no one could remember their orders as most of it came out randomly and some of us got the same things. There should be a better system with so much food coming out. We had a party of 10. We were able to share with one another which was great. My toddler was really hungry and the kitchen was backed up so his fries and nuggets came out almost dead last. They have a rule of no sharing unless you get a.y.c.e but I had to feed him some of my fried rice. He really enjoyed it. When the nuggets came out they were rock hard so he didnt get to eat those. Only other issue was the ceiling leaking over my seat randomly a few times. The manager was understanding and apologetic and gave us a discount on our entire meal. Overall the food was good for such a busy night. One day ahead of 4th of July I was not expecting it to be so busy. They did well at getting food out at a reasonable time. All you can eat is worth the price if you want to try several things. On our way out one of the staff members offered my boys sparklers to light outside. It was a really nice gesture and fun way to end dinner. We will definitely eat there again.

We typically eat at Ohayo in Webster. Since we live in Pearland, we tried this place, and that was definitely a one-time thing. We waited close to 20 minutes to be seated, not because there was a wait simply because no one was working the front. I decided we would just go sit in an open booth, and immediately someone came and told us we had to wait in the front. It was impossible to tell who our server was, and they pulled a bait and switch on us. The advertised price for all you can eat was $23, but what they fail to mention is it doesnt include any sashimi or about 1/3 of the menu. The menu system is extremely confusing, the person who was our order taker was not helpful yet he didnt fail to inform us that if we had any pieces of food uneaten we would be charged extra, then he tried to give us food we didnt order. All in all the service was terrible, the atmosphere was the same and the food was mediocre at best. I wont be returning here.

Update I always get unagi maki rolls, but this time, it was terribly overcooked. The first couple were fine, but the rest of the rolls were so chewy it was like trying to eat a rubber band. The eels texture was horrible. I had to spit it out, and it happened in multiple rolls. It ruined my appetite, and I couldnt eat any more of my food. I eat eel all the time, and this is the first time I had this happen here, but my god, it was that horrible.

Fun place to eat! This is more americanized-sushi, a lot of mayo, avocado, imitation crab. The presentation is beautiful. The appetizer and fried items are very good. I was happy to see the tea ice cream. The fish quality is okay, the raw cuts didnt have flavor but fresh for being landlocked. They serve plentiful food for the price.. the rolls are HUGE, perhaps too big? each roll piece was the size of my fist or a cookie I wished the rolls were 1/4th size smaller so I could try more varieties. We weren t even offered the package with AYCE sashimi initially and I can see why. The handrolls had very soggy nori and cucumbers. This time was yummy California roll and dancing crab. We will be back again. 7 months ago. The place is spacious, bright and airy, not quite what you would expect looking from the outside. The five stars is for everything but especially for creativity. This is the first time we ve tried takoyaki (deep fried octopus balls ) and you must try them. They are absolutely delicious. I ordered 2 appetizers, 5 sushi rolls and 5 hand rolls ( yeah I am a fatty I know) also knowing Its mostly rice itll fill up fastm I manage to finish 4 rolls ( one was def not great and did not like it. My fault) and two hand rolls with appetizers done. I was left with 1 roll I didint want and 3 hand rolls , I was charged for $10+ for Take home instead of the leftover charge and then instead of the lunch price ( I got in at 2p ends at 3p) I was charged dinner price ($8 more) . I dont care about the cost but more about the transparency of the service its not dinner time and I asked but he mentions it is for holidays it counts as dinner which I state they need to mention before servicing. Instead of a $21+ charge I was given a $40+ charge.

I luckily came in during the lunch time so the AYCE was cheaper than I expected. The waitress was not at her best it took over 20 minutes for me to get her to take my food order. After my initial order she was a bit more attentive. The sushi was really good I ordered 3 the king roll, California roll and the shrimp and avocado all were good. The hibachi chicken was ok, it lacked the flavor Im use to. I started with the Crab Ragoon they were hot and delicious. I left full and satisfied. Id definitely return.

I have been to other all you can eat sushi establishments. They were okay but fairly mundane. Edo is far and away the best of them all. The rolls are always flavorful, well presented (so you actually want to eat them) and delicious. The waitstaff is attentive, friendly and available. I have been twice and have NOTHING but good things to say about Edo.

We were seated and no one ever came to our table. The staff were all seated at a table together talking and drinking. There were hardly any customers in the building and now I see why.

The Ramen was the best I have ever had. Bouncy noodles and a broth worth writing home about. I love that my city has these near perfect versions of international dishes. My son loved it, too. I think it might break his cup noodle addiction.

I was invited by a couple of friends to try Edo while in the Pearland area. For $22.99, I chose the all you can eat option and it was worth it. Just note that you must only order what you can eat. If you have to take leftovers, they will charge for it. I m ok with that. The cocktails and food were delicious.

I come here regularly for over a year now. The AYCE is priced affordably and covers about 70% of the full menu. Pros: Dishes are made to order and appetizers come out pretty quick; everything is delicious! Few cons: 1) sometimes they forget to bring out some of your dishes, 2) sushi with shrimps in them are not that interesting to eat (if you want the good ones, you have to order off the menu) and 3) the Tracy roll is weird and sweet. Advice: avoid coming in at opening as you may get avocado (dark) from the previous day. Kid-friendliness: AYCE does contain french fries and chicken nuggets

The sashimi cuts are nice and thick. The fish tasted fresh. My kids enjoyed the non-raw stuff as well (shrimp fried rice which they gave nice portion with lots of shrimps, etc.). For an all you can eat place, they certainly do not skimp on what they give you. We expected the usual thin cuts, small portion typical of AYCE but ended up being so full with what we ordered that we didn t even need to place 2nd order. Will definitely come back here again.

Definitely good for the price, ordered 3 different sushi plates(the sushi came on 1 plate), 2 orders of crab Rangoon (2 per order) totaling $40, only paid $19.65.....the lunch all you can eat is $15.99 dinner is $22.99, dinner menu has bit more variety, but can get good sushi from lunch menu which is served 11a to 3p.....the atmosphere is meh, also I noticed I didnt smell anything cooking, like hibachi or frying of the cooked sushi something that was new to me as this was first time there, and just to notify readers, there is a charge for sushi not eaten (which I think is fair), you can order as many times as you want though, so pace yourself, dont order everything at once

I went here with my boyfriend and he got the all you can eat. There was a very visible dead worm in his hibachi, thankfully he saw it before eating it. We told our waiter and only ended up getting 30% off of his meal, not even our whole total. I would be very wary of eating here. I plan on getting in contact with the DSHS because I can t imagine what other hazards are going on here.

Hard to beat the AYCE deal. Everything I got was pretty delish. Definitely will be back. Only issues: - took quite a while to get seated despite there being plenty spots hostess seemed frazzled - homeboy 2 tables away apparently forgot his AirPods and decided to watch tiktok at full volume on his phone that was nice. Ideally the staff would have said something.

One of my favorite places to eat out! I always get the all-you-can-eat when visiting. The lunch version is good, but I prefer the dinner menu when they include appetizers as well. The service is always on point at first and slows toward the end of the meal. I would recommend Edo for anyone who likes sushi and has an empty stomach!
