Therapists are great - insurance verification department is Terrible! So many times my daughter missed therapy because someone didn t do their job. I explained to them this isn t just for fun these children need this service and it should be treated as such. I spent countless hours having to call to get them to do their job !!!

We had a wonderful speech therapist that we worked with for the course of a year but honestly would never recommend this place. Its more than evidently clear the AR teams and general billing operations are absolute mess and disaster. Whatever KPIs they have set up its intended to make working families pay for billing mistakes by their poor processes. For two months they kept saying our plan had termed without actually checking to see it had not which then meant my child could receive her services. They refused to actually contact our insurance so I was left having to be the middle person every end of the month to ensure our standard commercial plan was in-network for them. Now they are disputing claims with our plan when we had agreement already in place and our insurance has proof of attempts from their practice to bill us both out of network and in network at the same time for the same service. Im glad youve hired empathetic speech therapists who truly do wonders with patients, but theres a much better way to work with families and this isnt cutting it. Do better.

Riverkids stay on top of everything! Always keeping you inform with the process and have excellent customer services! My boys started getting services with Riverkids of January 2024 till now. Mrs. Amy is my 3 boys speech language pathologist. My boys made so much growth thanks to Mrs. Amy! Thank you Mrs. Amy for being one of the best SLP I ever met in my life. My boys always looks forward to doing speech all the time!!! If you do not pick Riverkids, you re missing out!

I worked with Jenna and Vanessa and they are both amazing. We felt like they were family and my kiddos love them- even after not using therapy services anymore my kiddos still ask about them. I will forever be grateful for river kids and I recommend them to everyone!

The worst experience dealing with this place please do not use Sharon for occupational therapy. She s such amazing liar even in emails stating my daughter had to be on hold for 30 days due to my insurance and PcP when finding out it was her correction that needed to be made why she couldn t be honest glad I have everything documented via email. Omg I can go on and on trying to explain to the director Jo Lynn which they do not care about this kids. On the other hand Sandy is the best Speech therapist we have through here. I can give her many 5 stars all day.

Poorly run- its been over 3 months and their intake Team is stating they are waiting for insurance approval. We called our ppo insurance and they said it s been approved weeks ago. Not worth the wait- they switched to a new software apparently and no one is willing to help out. Their OT are great though as our experience with the initial evaluation was wonderful.

I cannot express in this small paragraph of how much I appreciate my sons therapist(s), both OT and PT are truly a blessing from above. My son is diagnosed with Down syndrome and over the past months I can see growth in both motor and physical areas. Evelyn and Amanda are the best, my son loves these ladies and it shows how strong their relationship has grown. I appreciate all their hard work and dedication towards my son. Thank you Riverkids for hiring these ladies, they truly go above and beyond.

The customer service was great -- in particular, in getting through the intake process. However, the therapist dropped the ball continuously the first two weeks. She gave a good initial impression. However, she could not make it in on time, and twice didnt arrive at all. After two weeks, I let her go. The following day coincidentally, the director at the daycare expressed concerns about the therapist. For example, the therapist seemed to not remember her own name, and dragged her wheeled bag on the wrong side. She also didnt seem to want to be there. My instincts were right. The fact that she was allowed to be assigned to my child was appalling.

My child has received great care here. Their customer experience is beautiful. They respond very quickly to an issue you may have. Their therapist are very professional and will do everything to help with your Child s growth . I have not had any complaints since we started with Riverkids. I recommend their services.

I m so glad we were referred to RiverKids. Sandra Boyle is an awesome speech therapist and I m so glad she was able to work with my son, and help build his confidence a long the way. She s great with kids (even on the days when they re tired and cranky), she made them seem easy! The improvements in my child s speech were truly amazing to watch overtime. I highly recommend!

Our family has used River Kids in the Pearland area for in home physical therapy off and on for 4 years. We have the most incredible physical therapist who is knowledgeable, patient and consistent with a schedule. The River Kids office has also been helpful in navigating insurance details. I do wish River Kids was able to hire more OT and SLP in our area, as the waitlist never seems to work out for us.

Poor communication. My son was evaluated at the daycare because both my husband and I are at work during the day. No report or information has been provided on the evaluation. The company informed me that they the report would have to be requested and sent to me. So Im assuming I have to interpret the results myself.... The individual that performed the assessment should have reaches out. They seem to be more concerned with hearing from the insurance company that keeping me in the loop about my sons care.

River Kids Physical Therapist, Chris Mata, has been my miracle daughters Therapist for almost a decade. He communicates and works well with my daughter with severe Cerebral Palsy. To fully engage with her, he learns her likes and incorporates them into therapy. From reading books, playing music, pool time, and knowing her favorite phrases, Chris always brings the fun into therapy. So much that even our family calico cat joins in the session and serves as his pet therapy assistant. Next time, I will need to post a picture of them. River Kids communicates well about insurance coverages and avoids any delays in providing services.

River kids has been a blessing to our family the therapist are so professional and have helped my kids so much, their Pediatrician are very happy with their progress I have 2 toddlers who receive services from them, speech, occupational and physical therapy, and they all have done an awesome job my son who has autism has gone from non verbal to actually having conversations with me, also him and my daughter both have made a big change with the help they are receiving from OT from transitioning from different activities with out getting overwhelmed to being able to cut with scissors, and my daughter enjoys the PT equipment that she is able to use overall we love Riverkids def the best place to go for our bbys.

Ms. Oksally is a fantastic therapist she is so caring and very engaging with my son. He hates when therapy is over and always looks forward to seeing her again. She was his speech therapist when he was 3 years old and she had him talking in not time and was dismissed within 6 months, at this time she worked for another company. As a parent I felt like he still needed help but insurance thought otherwise, after being dismissed from their program my son bounced around with school provided therapists but I saw no improvement finally I asked his pediatrician to refer him again. His new therapist was so unreliable and only worked on his speech when being evaluated. I remembered I had Ms Oksallys # and decided to ask if it was hers and she responded right away and I told her our situation and she helped us with the process for my son to be transferred to her company and now hes getting the help he really needs. She is God sent and am forever grateful to have her back in our lives. So dedicated, caring, loving best speech therapist ever. I cannot say enough about her.

Highly recommend River Kids! My son has been seeing Ellen, his speech therapist, for about 8 months now. We couldn t be happier with the progress he has made. He went from only pointing and making grunting sounds to now saying long phrases and sentences. River Kids is always very responsive if I have questions. Please do not hesitate to call River Kids. Your child will be in great hands!

Our therapist from RiverKids, Jon, has been exceptional. Our 9 month old started PT for a generalized weakness on his right side - and now at 15 months old, he is thriving. Our therapist adapts his techniques as our son improves, and is always showing us how to help him between sessions. Our son ADORES his therapist and lights up when he comes over to play . We have celebrated each small improvement with our therapist. It will be bittersweet when our treatment plan comes to end because Jon has become part of the family, and a constant in our son s life. Thank you RiverKids for the great experience so far.

We have had such a great experience with River kids and getting my daughter the help she needs. A coworker recommended RiverKids and we are so thankful. From the first phone call, we felt at ease and couldnt believe how easy and streamlined the intake process was. Our service provider is amazing and keeps us informed of what shes working on when she sees our daughter in daycare, things we can do at home and always reaches out to see how she can best support our familys needs and concerns. My daughter receives in home physical therapy services from RiverKids - Ms. Sara, and I am constantly amazed by her skill, patience, and creativity with my strong willed daughter! She is amazing at providing activities for us to do at home, utilizing the toys and activities we have in my home. We did not have a great experience with our previous therapist, and I am so thankful to have found RiverKids and Ms. Sara! RiverKids has been easy to work with as far as billing, contact, and more.

I am a speech pathologist with many years of experience. I find that Riverkids Home Health Pediatrics has a great philosophy. Its more than just a job. Its all about helping kids. With that being the focus, Riverkids makes the paperwork as easy as possible. The three guys in charge are awesome! Therapists are not jus staff but crew members. You can work a lot or a bit. RiverKids has by far the BEST therapists around! My son (age 5) went through 2 other speech therapist with 2 different speech companies before we found RiverKids, and we have finally found the right fit for us! His speech therapist, Ms. Brooke, has worked wonders with my son who was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. Before, he struggled to communicate with us and would get so frustrated that we couldnt understand him, but he has been working with Ms. Brooke for over a year and a half now, and his speech is getting so much clearer. My son also recently started occupational therapy through RiverKids with, Ms. Andi, and she has helped him in ways I didnt even know were possible! They are so patient with my son and have been very flexible with any schedule changes I have had to make. I am so grateful for these wonderful therapist and this company!

We used Riverkids straight out of the NICU for occupational and physical therapy for our preemie. Our PT assistant Jaclynn was with us for over a year and helped him grow so well! We LOVE her like family now and her supervisor Joey Lynn was fabulous as well! Hoping RK has a spot soon for us with a Speech therapist!

I have been working at Riverkids for about 4 years. I have found all department Crews are accessible and helpful. RK plans for the future of the business, its families, its employees, and its patients/families. When I encounter a complicated situation or a day-to-day issue RK provides a quick response. Although I live too far from the office to visit the office the Outreach Crew is available to help me.

Riverkids is an amazing pediatric therapy provider. I have been beyond satisfied with them. They always answer my questions promptly, billing and insurance has been accurate and they diligently worked with my insurance to approve my son s benefits. We have been on the waiting list for almost a year and today they call me to tell me all their policies have changed and that we will have to pay out of pocket. The one therapist that did contact me for Speech was super rude and I wouldn t want that for my son that s on the Specturm.

Its been three months when my twins needed speech therapy Evaluation, they gave me the runaround. They dont have enough Speech therapist staffers to cover their patients. At last, I got an email referring us to seek service from some community organizations. So unprofessional, dont accept new patients if you dont have enough therapists. Riverkids need to stop delaying childrens much needed therapies by letting parents know they dont have enough therapists to serve their children. Therefore, parents can look elsewhere right away and get their children the much needed therapy sooner. Parents, run from this company and get your child/children speech therapy elsewhere.

We have the best Physical therapist. Michael has done amazing work with my daughter. She has jumped leaps and bounds in her progress of catching up to were she should be. I have been trying to Initiate speech therapy for my son, who just turned two, for months now with zero results. River Kids does not seem interested in helping my son. I have to call repeatedly and harass them to get them to respond to my requests then they give me the runaround. Ultimately I m going to end up paying out-of-pocket for Speech Therapy if I want it to happen anytime this century.

River kids is fantastic! I had such a hard time finding a pediatric physical therapist for my baby. I was on 5 different wait lists. A friend of mine referred me to River Kids and its been a blessing. The office staff kept me informed on getting started every step of the way.
