I ve been to Silverlake ER on 3 different occasions, but Only the first visit was a success. I will note the positives. You will be seen quickly. The staff is always very friendly and pleasant. But just 2 Stars for the other visits. Poor night staff on a life threatening concern with my stepdaughter and I had my bog bite stitches separate within 2 days.

My experience here was amazing. As someone who has had lot of ER and Hospital experiences it was refreshing to have a team of caring individuals who seem to love what they do. From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor and then the radiologist tech (Vania), I knew I was in great hands!!! So great to have amazing professions like I had when visiting mid day 8/23/24. We brought our 13 year old son here because he was complaining he was having trouble breathing. Considering that was the symptom he presented with, there was absolutely no sense of urgency on the part of the staff, even though he was the only patient there at the time. After we were taken to a room and seen by the nurse, Doctor Adams came in. She was cold and had a poor bedside manner. I never knew a doctor could be so unwelcoming. Perhaps it was a racial type of thing..seems plausible. I would not go back there, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

I never thought I world leave a review for an emergency room but this one deserves it! The level of care and courtesy in this ER is unprecedented. They treated me with kindness and respect. They Informed me on all aspects of my situation and they made sure that my needs and most of my wants were met. I was diagnosed with Covid and they didnt shy away from me or act standoffish. They actually cared about how I was feeling. I didnt have my cell phone charger so they offered one to me to use. The next morning the made sure that I ate (even though I left early) and ordered me breakfast. I am so thankful for their staff. This is my first time having such a pleasant experience in such a setting. Im just very thankful that they kept me under observation and took such great care of me.

Shamelia Carson and Dr Ahmed gave great care. Shes a great nurse with a solid skill set. Heard my concerns, gave knowledgable answers. Very compassionate in my time of need. Check in was a breeze, i had questions about the registration forms, the front desk attendant was kind and informative. They had a student medical assistant take my vitals, she was also sweet and confident in her skills. The phlebotomist started my iv and drew my blood like an expert. Even the CT tech was so kind! I will drive out of my way to come here, every time to get a good ER experience !!!!! Highly recommend.

I did not receive the extraordinary care that Im reading about. I brought my 3yo to be seen for arm pain and theres literally 2 cars in the parking lot. EVERY step takes 30 min; wait time after checking in, pain meds so an xray can be taken, the actually xray. Arrived a little after 9pm and its now 10:30pm, and no xray has been done. I told the staff I have to go to work in the morning and I think they started moving even slower. Im not sure what time of day is the best time to come here, but middle of the night is not it.

To whom it may concern, Im leaving this review about our nurse Jeffrey. I bought my wife their expecting below average service as i have received during my visits. The reason we come back is because its close, and thats the only reason..Jeffery went above and well beyond the call of duty. With my wife being so scared and afraid of the ER, he made her feel at ease by explaining everything about 2 or 3 times so we know whats going on. He explained things in terms we can understand and didnt once seem to be angry or upset because of all the questions. Brought my son in for a high fever. Started out as a 5 star experience until we received his antibiotics prescription. They prescribed double the dose he should have received for his size. I only found out because I followed up with is normal doctor. After calling in I was told they used his weight in lbs instead of kg when calculating his dose. The director did reach out to me about an hour after I called and listened to my complaint and answer my questions. I appreciate the follow up, though this was a pretty huge mistake in my opinion. Everyone makes mistakes but I would expect extra care taken when dealing with young children. We trusted the doctor with our sons care and he failed us. We wont be brining our kids back to this location.

The worst experience ever, I could literally walk to this ER from my home , and I will never go there again, my son was in a car accident , first off the people at the front desk looked as though they didn t want to be there, I gave them my insurance card, my son is covered under my insurance, so the lack luster person there , called me to the desk and said my son was not covered and they could not see him, and I told her he is covered under my insurance and she said he wasn t, so I left and called my insurance and did a three way call to let the incompetent worker know my son was insured,.I have been a Registered Nurse for 28 years , so I know and ER can t turn away a patient from care even if they didn t have insurance. I took my son to the Neighbors Emergency Center, top notch, excellent service and very knowledgeable and professional, stay clear of this ER Jen

I ve been dealing with chronic stomach pain for 3 years now. I have never encountered a group of healthcare professionals so intent on making sure that I was getting the care that I needed. The nursing staff was incredible. Nurse Sarah, Nurse Neveah, and Dr. G did so much for me this week. (Omg and the sweet woman who walked me through my CT scan- I forgot your name. I m so sorry!) For the first time in 3 years, I see a turning point for myself in dealing with my chronic pain because I was heard. I am so grateful that words cannot fully express it.

This morning I went toSilverLake ER following an injury from a fall. I cannot express how pleased I was with Nurse Jenniffer and Dr. Moath Amro. They were very caring and patient in explaining how to minimize swelling and pain at home. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. No wait was a big plus as well!!!

Took my daughter here last night, we felt as our concerns were heard and addressed and not just dismissed as we experienced else where. Dr.Amro was very thorough with everything and answered all our questions and frequently checked in on her throughout our stay. We were there for a good while and offered her food after her testing was done, the environment was quiet and comfortable. She is feeling a lot better now, we definitely want to thank SilverLake ERs staff for their care! Would definitely recommend for your emergency needs.

Sure, they were quick i was only there for 2 hours, and the nurses were amazing! And I just spoke to the rep for the ER and he said they will never send a patient a bill, so whatever insurance wants to pay them thats what they get so it put my mind at ease knowing I wont be receiving any kind of a bill.... that being said here we are about 6 weeks out and I indeed got a BILL that the ER rep said I WOULD NEVER RECEIVE A BILL..... AND THIS IS WHAT THEY CHARGED FOR A 3 XRAY IMAGE AN IV bag of fluid and 1 dose of pain medications, through said IV. Im sorry, but NO! I have a medical background, and this is why insurance is so expensive!!!! They added on charges for services i didnt receive!!! And swindled my insurance company!!! And billed me for things that would go through insurance. It didnt even cost that much to have a 3 day stay having a baby!!! Now Granted my final bill was $184.40.... I wont pay 1 red cent cent yall decided to charge my insurance for plenty of unnecessary upcharges and things that were not done and made out like a thief!!!! With over $27,400.00 from a 2 hour patient visit!!!!

One of the best ER in Houston and surrounding areas! I came into the ER going on two weeks of being very ill. As soon as I entered, I was welcomed by a young gentlemen at the window who processed my paperwork quickly. I was in the waiting room no more than 10 minutes. As soon as the nurses took me to the back, they began working on me. I was stressed out and in pain but the nurses made me very comfortable. They listened and addressed all of my concerns. The doctor saw me in no time and addressed my issues. I am terrified of needles and usually faint but the nurse was very gentle. I didn t feel a thing. The nurses have the best bedside manner. I was give a line for IV fluid and a warm blanket. The facility offered TV and turn down service. They were so patient with me while I was under duress. I knew I made the best choice by coming into this ER and not any other in the area! I certainly recommend 100 percent. They made sure I was 100 percent before I left

The best and fastest ER I ve been to. From the front receptionist to the back staff. All staff was incredible!! Dr. TO in midst of my pain had an awesome attitude. Shining light and laughter during everything. I recommend more than 5 stars!!! I have to say it is one of the quickest ERs. You will be in and out quick. Definitely recommend coming here! Top notch care and staff! I went to SilverLake ER thinking I had a bad cold. The nurses and staff were really sweet and attentive, offering warm blankets and making sure I was comfortable. The doctor was kind and very thorough. As they waited for the results of the respiratory tests, he came in to let me know the blood work showed I was dehydrated, so he d be ordering some fluids. As the fluids were finishing up, he came in with the results flu. He explained to me what the plan of care, confirmed which pharmacy he d be sending my prescription, and within 5 minutes, my pharmacy alerted me that they were already working on it. The nurse came in, removed the IV, and I was on my way! I can t say enough of about the care I received. You can t get this level of attention anywhere!
