Love this place! I m giving 4 starts for service because I ve had the same girl take my order several times and each time I ve felt like she did not want to be there and made me feel so uncomfortable and just unprofessional. Everyone else has been so nice and welcoming it s just a bummer that happens to such a great place. Otherwise my favorite coffee shop and honestly favorite coffee by far!

i used to love coming to this location but ever since i moved i haven t been able to and finally had the chance to treat myself after a long time. To my demise i was approached by a short plump rude employee that would critique my order by stating i hope you know that it s not a venti like starbucks with a fake condescending laugh. i rather drive a bit longer to the new location than to encounter her. i would suggest you do the same.

Very good vanilla latte. Husband got an iced pour over and he enjoyed his as well. They have some fun drinks to offer. I hope to be back and try the honey cinnamon next time. There is a decent amount of seating but when we got there, it was pretty full. If you enjoy getting work done in a coffee shop, I d recommend going early in the day to get a seat! We went close to noon and they had seats available at the bar, I believe. Can t wait to go back.

Coffee, service and pastries are great. I feel very comfortable in there but prices are outrageous. Gave me a tiny tea cup but only filled half way charging THAT(it was very good though). Fealt cheated. I go to many cafes like this around the country and its sad the cafe in my hometown cheats people. Again, everything else is perfect.

Lowered my rating because of seemingly quality control issues. Sometimes my drink tastes mediocre like it was rushed being made. Most of the baristas are nice, but there is one young lady that is plain rude. Maybe she had a talk with management about it because when she was working when the owner was there I got a loud have a nice day from her as I left.

Coffee .. the real deal. Weve been conditioned to think coffee has to be dark, bitter and strongly over roasted to be good and thats why you have to use a ton of creamer, sugar or syrups to make it palatable. This is the first time weve been in since the change in ownership and since we moved away. The atmosphere was more docile than I remember. Usually going in there was chatter everywhere, the baristas laughing with customers and customers talking with each other. It was just very quiet and everyone with their heads down in their own worlds. Sausage egg taco was very good and huge. The parfait was really good and they added honey to it for me with no issue. We got the Magnolia and Morning Glory. Neither disappointed. Coffee is just as good as before and I love the change in variety as well. Overall still a really great coffee shop and we will be back when we are in the area.

A company that truly goes above and beyond for its customers and community. I have been buying coffee from PCR for many years now. I now supply my own coffee shop with PCR coffee beans because I like to use high quality ingredients and theyre the best. UPS recenty lost one of my packages, through no fault of PCR. When PCR found out about this, they took time out of their schedule to deliver a complementary bag to hold me over until my lost package arrives. Not only that, the owner delivered it himself, thank you Albert. Atmosphere is calm and relaxing, its always clean with friendly staff and great coffee. A great place to go for coffee in the greater Houston area.

Whether its the latte, matcha green, hot chocolate or Vietnamese iced, everything I have had here has been flavorful and super smooth. The Costa Rica and Palo Alto blends are great too. Update: I was back in the Pearland area last week and stopped by to have the drip coffee. It was fabulous! Two is not enough of this absolutely fabulous coffee! I m back after enjoying the Magnolia cold brew a few days ago. I only drink coffee on ice in California because they don t do Texas iced teal ! But it s darn hot in Texas so I decided to take a chance. The Magnolia brew changed my mind with its uniquely captivating cool taste: Imagine white mocha latte with honeysuckle milk tea over ice? No? I couldn t either UNTIL I TRIED IT! Today I dropped in to test their drip and it also surpassed my expectation! The Costa Rica beans are sublime, perfectly balanced between acidity and flavor. Just what my taste buds adore! This is café para mi!

I literally asked for the simplest thing for any coffee shop to make. Espresso con pana. Espresso with whipped cream on top, and they told me they couldn t make that, but they lied to me because they asked my girlfriend right after if she wanted whipped cream on top of her americano. So I found this on a Google search after flying in on a redeye flight the night before. Saturday morning pulled in no place to park. Maybe recommend parking across the street be careful. It s a busy intersection next to railroad track. The coffee was great. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. Nice little back porch if you want to hang out, I think they might have Wi-Fi. I didn t stick around long enough to find out. They also sell baked goods from The Box kitchen and bakery, which is another local independent place. I had a bean and cheese breakfast burrito that was fabulous! Also have some great swag. Go check them out.

It is a shame to sell month-old roasted coffee from your shelves. Ive tried Pearland Coffee Roasters several times over the years and each time Ive taken note that this is your normal practice. Freshly roasted coffee should be sold in no more than a week or it loses aromatic organic compounds, oxidizes, and becomes stale, regardless of temperature or packaging. When I asked if there were any recently roasted coffees, there was an attempt to manipulate me by an employee who made a claim that coffee needs time to de-gas and isnt as good when its freshly roasted. Horse manure! The de-gassing of CO2 is the bloom and is always an indicator of freshness. Its dealt with either in the cup by allowing it to dissipate, or in the brew process. Youll not get a bloom from a month old or even from 2-week old coffee. Please do better.

I found this place right when I got my job and it has been my go to spot for my lunch break. They have the best espresso ever and use quality ingredients (and that s coming from an ex barista of 5 years).. All was well until I received an attitude from one of the baristas today. The gentleman with curly black hair, glasses, and always wears a cap. I got my usual light iced latte and he made fun of me for the amount of cubes to put in. Not appreciated broski. Service is everything. Good espresso doesn t go far when it s being trumped with bad attitude. Word to the wise.

If I had to rank this place based on three aspects, it would be as follows: 1. The coffee 2. The serive 3. The atmosphere The service was great. They were very attentive and politely told us that we could not sit inside with our pup. They offered us a pup-a-chino on the house to make up for the inconvenience, and we made our way to the outdoor seating area on a day that the sun decided to be generous with the degrees in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. Unfortunately, the heat was not the issue. It was the rancid smell that protruded from every possible orifice of the outdoor seating area. The establishment is very closely located to a railroad track, which did not help their case either. Above all, we enjoyed the coffee. However, the atmosphere both in and out was a cry for help.

Bought a simple cup of coffee with cream. Wanted dark roast, which they didnt have. He flooded my coffee with half and half and gave me a lukewarm, weak cup of coffee. It is normal to be able to add your own cream at virtually any restaurant or coffee shop, but not here. Coffee is supposed to be hot, which it wasnt. There were two employees working and BOTH of them discussed shirts that were for sale with the customer in front of us, while we waited to place our order. Leaving their parking lot is a true pain, particularly if you want to go left. You can only turn right and then you are immediately at a busy intersection with no easy way to make the u turn. I will not likely return here. Their coffee did not even match up to the quality of McDonalds for more than double the price. Service was poor. The environment was not overly comfortable. Interestingly, one of the employees made a negative comment about Srarbucks and, in my opinion, this place is not even in the same league. If your main business is supposed to be coffee, a store ought to do that well. PEARLAND COFFEE ROASTERS DOESNT!

I used to come often when I lived in town when it first opened. It was a great place then and customer service was a lot more friendlier and productive. Every time I m in town I go out of my way to stop by but this time on 5/12/23 the service was just horrible. I waited 30-40 minutes just to get an iced coffee. There was 3 guys working that day and only 1 seemed to be working while the other 2 just stood behind the espresso machine looking at everyone that was also waiting. A line that should be in an out took a long time as they were so busy putting ahead a to go order of 28 drinks. When I confronted one of the guys why they weren t making any of the walk in to go and only the huge order with one guy working on them, he had the audacity to argue and say it was a coffee shop . Not sure what that has to do with your productivity. When asked to see the manager, he supposedly had stepped out. Being 9 months pregnant and waiting for a drink and pastry that should have taken less than 10 minutes I was so annoyed, more so because of the service and inefficiency of the staff. I used to rave and tell people about this shop but if the customer service is like this it doesn t make anyone want to walk in there and enjoy the ambiance and their coffee.

I am never disappointed when I come here! I just moved from Florida not too long ago and was sad to lose my old fav coffee shops but am happy to say they don t even compare to this one! First time coming here, and it was amazing. Ive never really had coffee so I asked the guy at the registrar and he recommended a drink that was honey and cinnamon and it was amazing. The seating is perfect as theres grouped up chairs in the middle, but also more private ones to the side. 10/10 place to study and to get coffee. Would give 6 stars if I could!!

The location of this place is not ideal. Right next to the railroad tracks and a lot of traffic when a train comes through. Not a very large selection of coffee and/or flavors and the Barista was not too friendly or talkative during the visit. Drink was decent though.

First time here! Im so impressed with the staff. The gentleman with curly hair was helpful and answered any questions I had. Went here to buy some coffee for a family member as a gift and it was a cute shop. Seems super popular! The barista was very informative and helpful. I received a free coffee for buying the ground at home coffee bag so that was awesome. The coffee was called black star and my aunt and sister in law both said it was outstanding.

I was in the area for work today, and swung by here in the morning. Customer service was great, and the coffee was just as great. Their breakfast tacos were huge a delicious too. One was plenty. I highly recommend this place. I wish there was a coffee shop like this up in my neck of the woods.

Theyre okay. Ive been going there for years, but in the past few years, since theyve changed management (at least twice), theyve made some unfortunate changes. After the first management hand-off, the whole structure of the place changed... Literally. They gutted it and made it extremely open, but even with the openness, there was ironically LESS room in the place. The owner replaced some of the tables with bolted-in tables that are not large enough for two laptops, so you either go there alone, sit at the bar (if theres room.. there are three spaces at the bar), or sit out back. Alternatively, you can take one of the other tables, but theyre really better designed for four people or more. Stickers, which most local coffee shops give out as free advertising for peoples laptops, suddenly cost money. The food was still alright, though. Fast-forward to the post-pandemic days. The shop changed owners again, and now the quality of the food declined. They switched their pastry provider to Craftsman, and blandness ensued. Then all the baristas quit. Frankly, they dont have much going for them anymore. Starbucks is better, and with Scooters practically across the street, and First Cup moving in, Im not sure how much longer theyre going to last. I miss their original ownership.

I ordered a breakfast taco on line. These tacos are pre-made, all they had to do was pull one out and set it on the counter for me to pickup. Upon arrival I did not see my order, asked about it, the guy said they alternate between on line and in store orders. He could have handed me my taco, but he didnt. I watched five or six in-store customers get waited on, three or four of them ordered and RECEIVED breakfast tacos. Im still waiting on the taco I ordered and paid for 20 minutes ago. I asked another person about my taco, totally indifferent, no response. I finally get in line, wait some more and once I get to the cashier Im told what I already knew, there were no breakfast tacos left. What is the point of placing an order on line if its not going to be available? The system is ineffective and the staff, other than the cashier, were not helpful. Dont think I will be back, there are plenty of coffee shops with on line ordering systems which actually work and have a more friendly staff.
