They are AWESOME! I stopped in today to get a quote. Unlike the big name franchises, I didn t feel like a #. I was sitting there for 2 minutes before someone came to look at the damage to my car. They offered me popcorn and they were way more than fair in pricing. I ll be back for all of my painting needs. The work was FLAWLESS. I m VERY impressed!

Great family shop with knowledgeable people. Working on fender work for my Tacoma. Looking forward to the results. Only downside is they can get busy which means they are in demand right? Update: Took a long time (more than a month) to install cheap parts that are falling off. Headlights keep filling up with water, and only point down to just cover 20ft in front of the truck.

I contacted the shop about my hit and run and how my fender was dented, I got an on-site free estimate for a deal! It was communicated well and throughly about what needed fixing. When I went to turn it in, they estimated for the following Monday Luckily my repairs were easy and I got it with 2 days!!! Definitely great business!

Took my 1992 dodge w250 in to get hood, and two front fenders replaced. They called me and told me there was a fire, and that they could not figure out what was wrong. The person swore up and down that it was nothing that they did. Come to find out after I paid to have someone else look at it. They mixed up the 2 relays under the hood. I had to replace a relay and have my wiring harness rewired for ground. They took off $100.

Took my 2016 Kia to him for dent in front passenger door. Dent was big enough to make door hard to open and made loud cracking sound when opened. I got the car back within the time he said it would take and cannot tell car was ever damaged. Paint matches car perfectly. Highly recommend this place.

I have used these guys for almost 20 Years. The Garden around the place is an example of the feeling of working with them! The employees are all very courteous. The work done on my car was done to my satisfaction. The timing and the estimate were right on target. These folks grew a garden in the asphalt on the side of 35, I knew I could expect miracles!

I came here to get a new left side mirror installed onto my car. I called other body shops and they refused to install it for me since I didnt buy the part from them. I called Main street Paint and Body. They didnt have a problem installing it, even though I didnt buy from them. They were nice enough to squeeze me in for an early appointment. They were fast, did a great job, had great customer service, and I was happy with the price. Thank you so much Main street paint and body shop for saving the day! I will definitely be back for any future work I may need on any of our vehicles.

I called to get a price to replace my windshield and they quoted me a price for over 500. I was able to get it done for 220 elsewhere and got a third quote for 235. Not really complaining about their services just pointing out the high price. But the guy on the phone was nice. Lol

Took my vehicle for Front end Repair from an accident and a paint job. JR and Chris were very reasonable with the pricing and easy to do business with. I was quoted by. JR. $1000 to paint/blend rear and front drivers side doors and hatchback plus wet sand and polish whole car Scheduled to bring in next day and the appraiser says NO to the written estimate from JR JR says if I pay cash $200.00 off estimate bringing price down to $1000 I was told by the appraiser NO too my written estimate price. ? Who has the last word JR. OR APPRAISER OR CUSTOMER with a written estimate CORRECT!!! the customer with a written estimate I solved the problem took my keys and said I m leaving with my car and worthless estimate from JR APPRAISER SAYS HE IS FINE WITH THE SITUATION. Things are definitely different than when rex and Tim were there. Tim favorite words to customers were we know who butters our bread, and we take care of them. The new management may have growth prospects in mind, and I wish them the best. Needless to say, from my most recent experience, I will not be going back again. Sad for it to be that way....it is what it is. Luckily things didnt work out prior to starting the work. I was forced to take my car elsewhere, and as fate would have it, worked out amazingly well.

So I went once to have a radiator core support replaced. Asked for a estimate and came to find out they would not work after someone has started work. I pulled the front clip. I kinda understood that liability comes into to play so I left. Went back a second time(shame on me) to have them adjust my hood or tell me if the latch was broken. I couldnt really tell if the latch was broken or not and was tired of trouble shooting it. So I waited about 15minutes for an estimate and again this time they would touch it cause I installed the hood?. I was told they dont work on vehicles once someone had started work on it. I just got the impression they did body work of all types. Good thing I didnt pay it was just a bent latch. A little more elbow grease and wahala. It was an easy fix and I just needed a little help. They are definitely not the place they used to be.

One of the owners died tragicly a few years back. This is (or at least was?) a family business. They have always been great. They do a nice job and treat people right. They pride themselves on not needing to advertise because they get referalls and repeat customers. Theres a good reason for that.

I havent gotten my car fixed yet, but I already have praises for Bart the inspector. I had gone to so many places trying to get the process rolling on my car and he took care of it all for me. He called my insurance company and took the stress off my shoulders. I was pretty upset with my insurance company but thanks to him I can relax now and know my car is taken care of. Estimator wanted to fix my entire car. I had a specific area I wanted repaired and only that area. Instead the Estimator told me he couldnt do it unless they did the whole car. Then quoted me $5000 for the work. I know the rest of the car was screwed up but there was a specific reason why I didnt want it fixed.... Custom work I was having done by a fabricator. I just needed a couple dents fixed and painted elsewhere on the car, but no.. its either you go with the $5k job or we wont touch it.. What a shame, I miss the days when Tim was running the place. No job too big or too small, we do them all! Really miss him and that brand of service! Seems like whoever is running the place now is all about the money.

The guys at Main St are just awesome! Used their services twice already and both times received nothing but good customer service. Best price in the area. The finished work was amazing! My car looked like when I picked it out at the dealer. I was told it would be about a week and a half and got it just as promised a week and a half later. Ive gotten so many compliments about my cars paint job. If you wanna trust that youre getting an honest quote with a professional quality job go see Rex, Allen and the rest of the guys here!

These guys are straight shooters. In 2010 they did a magnificent job on my old 1995 Dodge pickup removing some small dents then a complete paint job. 5 weeks ago they repaired my 2010 Chevy pickup. Outstanding job and they saved me a lot of money!!!

The rear driver side door on my SUV wouldnt open from the inside or outside. After exhausting my efforts with Fredy Kia, I decided to give these guys a try. Kia quoted me $800 to fix the door, plus an additional $1200 in the event the door panel got damaged (which most likely would be the case is what they told me). Thats a total of $2000 just to fix it!! My vehicle only had 67K miles on it, so I thought they would try to keep their customer happy. No such luck. After bringing it in to Main Street, I was quoted $225 to fix and replace the broken part. Now it works perfectly!! I would definitely recommend giving these guys a try.

I am very surprised by all the bad reviews. I first had my daughters car repaired there in 2003. Someone had rammed into her car and they fixed it and painted just the part of her car that was wrecked and matched the paint perfectly. I just took my mother-in-laws car in a few months ago because I ran into something. They replaced the bumper and painted it and except for the fact that it looks just a tiny bit different due to 12 year old paint verses new paint, it was a fabulous matching job! Their prices cant be beat and the owner is amazing. If you arent happy with the job, just tell him. He really does want to know!

All of these negative reviews really surprise me. I know that not every business can make everybody happy, but I have NEVER had a negative experience here. I work for an insurance company, and its my job to review auto-body businesses to see whether they meet the standards to become a business that we recommend to our clients. These guys are top-notch. They arent your typical corporate-run business, and they really try to do the best work for the best price. They care about their customers and about their work. For all of the clients that I work with in the Pearland area, I always recommend Main Street. After working with Rex & Tim for almost ten years and seeing the wonderful work that they do for the price, I feel like I cheat my clients out of saving money by not sending them to MSPB. They do a fabulous job for a fair, low price. Theyre not your typical body shop, and I think thats why I love it there so much. They are a true diamond in the rough.

I brought my newish 2013 ram truck in to have some body work painted, that was completed by another body shop. They quoted me a very nice price to do the paint. Once they started prepping the truck for the paint, they noticed that the body work from the other place was not up to their standards. They completely redid the work, painted my truck and even provided a warranty for the work. On top of it all, they stuck to the original price! I am so thankful for Tim taking great care of my truck and making me a very happy customer. I wish I would have gone to MSPB the first time. Incredible customer service. Thanks again.

Horrible experience. As stated before, the owners will make you feel at ease, but in the end youll not be happy. They are the sloppiest auto body guys around. They will sand your trim with the da sander, over spray all over the place and give it back to you like that, and act like its no big deal. There masking job is atrocious. Paint all over trim, lights, wheel wells. THEY ACTUALLY PAINTED MY SUNROOF SHUT!! I called to specifically tell them to open the sunroof and mask from the inside before painting. I waited for an hour during the checkout process after I noticed these issues while they never said a word to me. I was waiting outside for an answer to what theyre going to do about it. I had to go inside and finally ask what the deal was, they just said they were working on it. Needless to say, I went home and they sarcastic said have a nice day. So, I wasted 2 hours of my time that day. The car had not been washed and was horribly dirty both times I went to pick it up. Oh, and the 1500 dollars job included fully sanding the hood. Not fully done of coarse, there are still rock chips all over the hood.

Tim and Rex have taken care of our vehicles for years with a touch for detail second to none. They also have impeccable honesty and integrity. A recent example; my daughter wrecked her car and Tim gave me a quote (which was lower than 4 other competitors); I accepted the quotation and gave him the car for repair. During the process he called me with a suggestion -- the doors they purchased were identical to her original doors -- so they could buff them and fore-go repainting them which would save $400.00. They didnt have to call me and quite frankly, I may not have ever noticed. Tim also sent me a text message at each stage of repair to show me the progress! Excellent customer service and honesty!

Very friendly owners who do their best to stick to the original quote and time frame. I took my car in to get the roof re cleared after other shops had told me it isnt possible and were going to charge over 2k just for the roof. I took it to Main Street and they did it for 400 dollars and it looks great. This shop does the best bang for the buck out of any paint shop.

This shop is the most reliable and affordable paint & body shop Ive ever experienced! The owners Rex and Tim are great people and are a pleasure to talk to every time I have stopped by. We have had a bad experience with service king and other shops in the area, they promise to get parts in or fix things on time but it never seems to happen. Mainstreet gets everything done in a friendly timely manner. Even if we didnt live in Pearland we would commute to use their services.
