Everything from the agua to jamaica to the horchata to the chilaquiles and the migas!! Soo good. The service is also great! 10/10 recommend :)

Seriously? Visited on a recommendation. Oh my. Where on earth do you find folks like this? Ill tell you where. At La Guadalupana. Want authentic? Well, its like the family that operates this joint. Authentic. Off the beaten path, but so well worth it. My only regret was I didnt have room for dessert. The bakery looks amazing.

It is indeed a hidden gem. I got the chilaquiles rojos with Guisado de Pollo. It had a great taste, spicy indeed. My only complaining was that it is only Chilaquiles and beans, anything extra it s more. The Machacado was also delicious. Would have been nice if there were more sides included, as well for the tortilla to be homemade. The desserts looked delicious! We did end up getting 2 bread, it was good. Tasted like any bread at the bakery. Would definitely come back to try other stuff.

This place is a gem, not just because they make incredible pastries and coffee, which they do, coffee is very special here. But the reason they are a gem is the smile and care that they give to ever person who comes in the door. I have been coming there for a couple years and I am so glad I found the place.

First time customer. The worse Mexican food ever. Chilaquiles were as soggy as they could be , no cheese on it compared to the online photos . Barely had any beans and eggs weren t scrambled they were made as an omelette and then ripped apart.Quesadilla meal was bland and dry. Champurrado was more of a hot chocolate. Only good thing was the bread . They also charged me a service fee for using my debit card and didn t tell me until after I paid both checks. Overpriced & bland.

07/02/2022 I honestly almost swerved when I looked right and saw this place I was in aww and im assuming they had just opened because theres one in northside that I would always go to but started being too far for me to go on the daily but honestly my favorite place to go all the time. When I walked in I felt like I was visiting family , I had the young lady greeting us and allowing us to sit wherever wed like and taking care of us from there. I ordered the breakfast torta and my dad ordered pozole , I kinda stole some of his pozole because it looked so good and I also had a hangover but I really wanted to try the torta and the bread was way different then any ordinary torta bread and its so thick I took some off and dipped it in the pozole , great idea too if your really hungry like me . Time passed by and we were greeted by the head chef of the restaurant to assure the quality of our meal and we had a nice conversation, he had advised me the young lady taking care of us was his daughter and he had other family working together at this restaurant which is even better because you can tell how much love went into this place and their food , I loved the hospitably of every staff member there , and if you cant already tell they also have a bakery and its a must to get the almond butter croissant , thats the whole reason I fell in love in the first place. I would definitely come again. Dont stop the hard guys , siempre échale ganas raza

They try to cut corners I ordered pancakes and a side of bacon they gave me a tiny box with bot things so my pancakes had bacon grease all over. The bacon was not for me so it was rude to do that. Also the egg I ordered was super burned. Over all gross not real Mexican food either.

This place is excellent! Super clean, with lots of light, comfy nice chairs, we enjoyed ourselves so much, the service is also exceptional and you will have the chef coming to your table to make sure everything is right. They have a selection of freshly made juices, the pozole was the best I ve ever had in Houston, GET THE POZOLE, you won t regret it! Flavorful, not too spicy and not too plain, with the right amount of meat and hominy. I also ordered a Chile relleno which was ok, not the best, and the breakfast that my partner ordered was very fulfilling. Their signature coffee tastes a little too burned for our taste but it wasn t that bad and they specialize in gourmet desserts and pan dulce Mexicano. We are coming back! We loved this place and are glad we ran into it.

My children loved the flavor. I loved seeing them trying to choose what dessert they wanted. The people who work are very friendly and attentive. The specialty coffee tastes like HOME. I was looking and every time someone left they disinfected. Now cleanliness is very important. The price did not seem expensive to me for all the flavor I enjoyed and it is also food like at home. I was very happy.

The Chocolate Expresso cake had all our social distancing rules--wash hands, sanitizer, soap, 6apart, Think WE not Me! They were delightful, delicious, perfect. Thank you Chef Diaz!!

The greetings were welcoming and inviting. I was here early and ordered from the breakfast menu which was amazing the special brewed coffee helped wash it down (3 cups of it). Finished off with a pineapple empanada all prepared by a chef who appears to love what he does! O and of course the chips and salsa fresh ingredients made from scratch. Stop procrastinating or do, however find the time to stop by La Guadalupana you wont regret it!

We ve been to the Montrose location many times, which is across town from us, so I was excited to hear a Pasadena location was opening. You really can t go wrong with anything on the menu but the almond croissant and coffee are to die for! Also, these are my 5 yr olds favorite pancakes, he cleared his plate!

I can t remember When I have enjoyed such well prepared food in a restaurant. I immediately knew the lettuce was not bagged lettuce but freshly sliced. Not one thing I put in my mouth was questionable. The food was beautifully prepared, made fresh, the restaurant was meticulously clean, and service was perfection. Mr. Diaz the owner is a top notch chef who oversees every aspect of his business. This is a family well run, new to Pasadena , restaurant who aim to please the customer. Two ladies from Presbyterian Church who evidently had been there before walked in to order a tiramisu cake for church in the morning. The bakery items looked as freshly made as my meal. I will return!

More beans than anything else, very small portions and they still want us to pay 9.00 per plate so they dont stain anymore. Dont be so stingy about giving food today, I understand why many complain. Yes, they barely want to feed their clients BUT they do want to charge a lot.

The food is ok. My breakfast plate was very small portion especially for a 9.00 price and all you get is beans. The barbacoa tacos are full of onions and cilantro and hardly no meat. The lunch and dinner prices are too pricey. Ill stick with my other Mexican place.

The food here is great. The service here is great. The portion ratio is a bit small for me. The prices could be better. 9 dollars for breakfast is high. Thats how I came to the conclusion of small portions. The pan dulce is delicious and fresh. If this place ever got busy, be prepared not to find a parking space. But from the looks of it, its going to be a breakfast stop. When I stopped by the place was not busy at all. Overall I hope they stay in business. They have great food and service. But theres the over priced food and portions that gave this place a 3 stars. If it was just on food alone, it would be 5 stars but its not so....
