Kitchen very clean. Expedient friendly service. Sitting area available at gas station. Tried their shrimp ceviche. It was delicious, flavorful, and generously portioned, excellent presentation - lots of vibrant colors including the avocado. Their sandia agua fresca was impressive as well! Next time I go to a party taking a mini cooler filling it with ice and buying a small portion each of red fish and shrimp ceviche - would make great appetizers. Just add a bag of chips/ saltine crackers, adult drinks and friends!

The ceviche and aguachile were so bitter, I don t know if it was sitting there for long or if the limes were just bitter, but it also had no flavor. The lobster is way overcooked. Too expensive for the quality/lack of flavor of the food. I don t recommend

Absolutely fantastic experience at Captain Ceviche! Their ceviche is hands down one of the best Ive had in Texas. Generous portions of shrimp and fish make each bite satisfyingly fresh and flavorful. The blend of spices and citrus in their ceviche mixture is simply delicious I cant get enough of it! This was my third visit, and Im officially hooked. Oh, and do yourself a favor and try their lobster roll. Its incredibly buttery with loads of lobster meat, a true indulgence that complements the ceviche perfectly. Captain Ceviche is definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers! My only wish was they had more seating area to enjoy it there.

Great customer service but sadly not great food. Got the lobster roll & lobster grilled cheese. Both were very dry and chewy and on the lobster roll the bread was all soggy. Also got the Ceviche Mixtos I believe that s what it was called with fish & octopus and something else. It tasted a bit to much like lime and just expected a better taste overall. I should of got the original Shrimp ceviche. Overall cool experience hope to try the truck in Galveston soon

Not only are these wonderful breakfast tacos but the owner and staff were amazing! I purchased 15 tacos and they worked together to get them to me fast! They were hot, delicious, and over stuffed. I thought it was a sit down restaurant (its not). Its located inside a gas station. We went and were not impressed with the food. Some people have thoroughly enjoyed it, so maybe it was just me not loving it. So this is my personal opinion and my companions.

I have had many lobster rolls from high end restaurants throughout the country. Captain Ceviche lobster roll is hands down the best I ve had and it s really not even close. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood. Their ceviche is phenomenal as well and their service is fantastic

Every time we come it s always a hit ! Isai and Sam are always hands on and making sure the experience and food is %10000000 !! I absolutely love That the menu is forever evolving & that they always have a fresh catch of the day ! We tried the new lobster rolls and we were mind blown ! If you ve been considering it , DO IT ! Ceviche with fish and octopus were really chewy and the taste was weird, something like plastic . But on top of that the amount of sauce was ridiculous. For the price I paid, I expected more sea food than sauce , I honestly think the ceviches were from the day before not fresh as they promote on their ads. And really overpriced

I went here for the first time the other day and glad I did! The ceviche is high quality and so tasty! I love the vibrant colors from the ingredients and everything is just so good. The co-owner let us try samples and provided wonderful service. Good quality ceviche Service The prices are a little bit more than I expected but it counts for the high quality of the food The place is INSIDE the Motu gas station (also it s friendly ) We got the shrimp and flounder ceviche, crawfish mac and cheese, and cucumber agua fresca. I was happily surprised by the mac and cheese. I m very picky with mac and cheese so I hardly ever get it unless I think the cheese is thick and velvety which Captain Ceviche s is!!

I love ceviche and on Galveston Island you are sure to have your pick of spots for ceviche, we saw Captain Ceviche parked off Stewart and decided to try it since it was so convenient to drive up and go. We were not disappointed!! One of my favorite places to get ceviche on the island costs $25 for it, with Captain Ceviche you get in my opinion way more for your money and its priced fairly. Taste = AMAZING!! We got the shrimp ceviche and the mahi and AMAZING!! Ill tell you what else is great here is the customer service!! I am just so proud of this young crew and their desire to please each and every customer! If you dont listen to no one, listen to ME. This is Houstons BEST ceviche and overall seafood! I love me some ceviche, my husband doesnt like ceviche and he drove me 45 mins to and back from their new location in Pasadena. We got our usual the Captains ceviche, 2 orders of their amazing hush puppies, and crab fingers. We got the mix of their aguas frescas, watermelon, cucumber lime and mango, BOMB. My husband finished his large before we even left the gas station! You know that feeling when you know your money is going to the right place, its supporting someones dream AND the food is worth every penny and you can just feel the LOVE in the food? Thats the vibes at Captain Ceviche. I dont like hushpuppies, but I couldnt just eat one from here. We are proud to be Captain Ceviche OGs, because this movement of seafood goodness is only beginning! The most delicious and fresh ceviche I ve ever had! The customer service is incredible, everyone is so friendly and helpful. They are constantly adding to their menu and have new things to try. Each thing they add is more delicious than the last! My favorite thing I get every time is the agua fresca s. They are so refreshing and there is always multiple flavors to try out. The most fresh ceviche I have ever had! They only get the best quality of seafood and I don t even like seafood but I find myself craving their OG ceviche with spicy chips time after time. Not just seafood but avocado is the cherry on top and gives the dish the best finishing touch. So mouthwatering, my thirst is quenched with gueros waters my favorite flavors including coconut & cucumber! Captain ceviche will never disappoint.

Stopped by the other day and the ceviche was fresh and delicious. The agua fresca was really good too. I had the cucumber lime. I really appreciated that it wasnt over sweetened. One small suggestion is to have plain tortilla chips. It got a little salty for me with the seasoned chips. We will definitely be back.
