SO disappointed. Used to love Olive Tree and their use of only olive oil for everything. But like so many places it has changed. Today I was served hummus with clear, colorless oil, probably canola, as most others now use because its cheap. Wont be back..my health is more important and I have no issue playing for the real thing. But this is no longer it. :( also I ordered two items off the appetizer menu because they were out of the squash that I wanted, the prices on the menu were $7 for one of the items and $9 for the other but I was charged $9 for each of them. Very dishonest! False advertising if the menu prices are not correct.

Dropped by here with our friends yesterday to watch some Sunday football. Its a great place to catch a game, as theres plenty of TVs and a well stocked bar. The food is fantastic. The hummus is the best Ive had anywhere and the falafel was done just right. My friends had the beef kebabs and loved them. The attention to detail in the decor was really nice, particularly the traditional carpets and cushions. Really fun place - you cant go wrong here whether youre looking for casual sports viewing or a savory Mediterranean meal. Vegetarian options: Plenty of delicious vegetarian options - tabouleh, falafel, hummus & Baba ganouj, eggplant, etc...

Overall the flavor of the food was good. The service was prompt. The staff were friendly, they really made you feel welcome at the restaurant. However it is a little expensive place to go. My meal was a salad, grilled vegetables, and lamb chops. The price was $35.00. my brother had a vegetable plate for $20. So my only complaint was the prices. So if money is not an issue, it is a nice place. Wheelchair accessibility: I am on four-wheel Walker there are no obstacles to get in. And enough room to maneuver a wheelchair or Walker in easily

Wanted to eat some Mediterranean food for lunch so a coworker and I came to Olive Tree to try it out. Pretty spacious interior with a good amount of parking in front so thats always a plus. Our server was friendly and checked up on us throughout our lunch. Hummus w/Pita- the hummus was good! I never had pita flat like this so it was pretty interesting but it wasnt bad Batenjan- Im not sure if I liked this dish. I feel like the acidity from the tomatoes were a little too overpowering and I didnt get to taste the savoriness of the dish. The Batenjan comes with a salad though so thats nice! Overall, Id rate this place a 3.5. Im not sure if Id come back for lunch but I did see on the flyer that theres Belly Dancing so thats pretty neat and maybe Id come back for that and try a different dish.

I was invited for a birthday dinner and didnt know what to expect. We came on a Friday and enjoyed a belly dancing performance. We had so much fun that we made our way back three weeks later. We live in Spring. Dominique is personable and is passionate about his establishment. Im thinking of reasons to bring the organizations that I am a part of for social events. Schedule your team building and fun family dinners here to make things easier on you. I will definitely be back with my friends but need enjoy this hidden gem a little bit more first.

If you live near or are visiting the Houston ship channel, you gotta go by The Olive Tree. Dominique the manager, who is full of enthusiasm, will greet you and take care of you like family. Adrian the bartender is right there for you also. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I had the kebab special and a side of hummus and pita. The hummus was some of the best Ive ever had -- so smooth and creamy. And if that wasnt enough, on Friday nights, theres a belly dancer! And she gives lessons to anyone brave enough to join her. I wasnt. But it was still a delightful surprise discovery while on a business trip in the area.

This is an amazing restaurant with CLEAN, HEALTHY and DELICIOUS Mediterranean food! The owner is friendly and takes great pride in the food he serves! We had stuffed grape leaves, stuffed cabbage leaves, hummus, tabouleh, and chicken and rice! I cant put into words how tasty this food is. Stopped in for a quick late dinner after work. Being vegetarian, I looked up restaurants that offer vegetarian options. This place came up. There are not many options, plus way overpriced compared to my Houston restaurants, which truly offer Mediterranean vegetarian food. Ordered a falafel gyro with a side salad since the only other option was French fries. Pita bread was store bought, and the falafel was not handmade. Nothing special about a store bought pita bread warmed up with 1 leaf of lettuce, a few white onions, 2 tomatoe slices, and 3 previously frozen falafel s folded over like a regular sandwich. Salad was the only fresh item. Then they charge a service fee for using a debit card, but no mention of fee, till I asked.

My wife and I went here for the first time tonight. The food and atmosphere far surpass what we would expect in Pasadena. We went to Olive Branch on a whim and are sooo glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the beef kabob, my husband had the chicken, and we split some hummus. Hands down this was the best Greek food I ve ever had. There was also a belly dancer (apparently it happens every Friday night which is so cool!), and we were waited on like honored guests. Just a really great place and I d love to see them continue to be successful!

My honest assessment: Appetizer- Grape Leaves Exhibits a sharp citrus flavor initially; followed by a savory flavor of meat and rice filling. A pleasant appetizer small enough to leave you wanting more, but leaving you with room for your main course. Salad: The salad has great flavor without the need to be saturated in any additional dressing. Main Course Shish Kabob Well plated on rice with kabob meat and vegetables. The meat was exceptionally tender with excellent herbal flavor. Truly an palatable experience. Dessert: Rice pudding was served cold topped with cinnamon and other seasonings. Creamy texture with not and overly powerful sweetness. The occasional hints of cinnamon and subtle floral traces of rose water were also a nice change on the palate. To Go Order: Placed To Go Order for Same meal It came out rather quickly, almost as I finished my desert. It should be noted that I ordered it at the same time I ordered the dessert. The To Go Meal was curated with equal care as the plating meal was. Observations: I sat separate from the party room, which appeared to be the main bar area. There was a glaringly different focus and service between the two areas. However, as a casual observer, I noticed whom I believe is the owner of the establishment, truly caring for patrons and the experience. I also witness who I believe to be the co-owner and son of the owner personally see people to the door. The owner approached me as he was leaving for the night, introduced himself, and expressed a sincerity rarely found in restaurants today. I could feel he was truly appreciative to have me come in and enjoy his food and service. The refreshing kindness accenting an already exquisite meal. Numerous patrons were treated like family, whether it was their first time or they were long-time friends/patrons. Overall, the establishment shows a true talent for hospitality despite my feeling overlooked at times. It is likely due to my separation from the crowd. My waitress was very friendly; but not overly attentive, allowing me to truly enjoy the meal. Overall, I give this place an excellent rating. If you love Greek, this is a place to go. It feels like family. I was just the black sheep of the family, so I quietly left full and happy. Came in a customer left feeling like family. Being acknowledged with a cheerful greeting is what I experienced!! The young lady asked me to have a seat to look at the menu. I love Greek food! Love my Greek Heritage. This place not so much! Paid $38 dollars for two salads the gyro salad an absolutely no gyro/ no meat on it though I paid 6 or 8 dollars more for it!! If you are in a hurry dont go, it took almost an hour for our food to come out. Everything is made fresh and very much worth the wait. The waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. We cant wait to go back for the belly dancing!

Kid-friendliness: I brought my 2 year old who is autistic for a Mommy and daughter dinner...it was the perfect place to bring her. The owner and staff were extremely patient with her even when she wanted to dance with the belly dancer who by the way was also amazing with her.

The delicious food we have always ordered to go and today we decided to have dinner there to see the dance, we booked yesterday and there was no dance the place was very nice, clean, the people were friendly, the food was delicious, but my daughter was left wanting to see the dance

Dining room was very clean, atmosphere was great and service was very attentive. I had a gyro sandwich and fries. The fries were freshly cut potatos and were wonderful. The gyro sandwich was adequate. Not the best gyro Ive had but not the worst. Next time Ill try something different.

Went there with a big group and tried many items on the menu. Everything was delicious!!! Owner Dominic (?) Was fantastic, he works very hard to satisfy his customers but more importantly spent time with us on a personal level as well. We love everything about this place, including the belly dancer!!

This place has the BEST Greek salad with gyro meat (get the meat on the side). Excellent meal! $15.60 salad + $3 for drink ( $20.12 total) The Owner comes out to greet you when he has time.

Great food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant. The shish kabob was very well seasoned, tender steak. Gyro over Greek salad was also very good. Lebanese Almaza beer tasted very good.

Amazing food! Fun belly dancer on Friday night. Dominique is a very kind and gentle soul. My new favorite place. I had a small wedding reception dinner here and was very very happy with everything. All my guests raved about how good the food, entertainment and service was. He has a DJ and belly dancer you can hire for private event. The lounge is beautiful and perfect for 20 to 25 people. Dominique bent over backwards for my mom and out of respect he personally served her a special dinner that was off menu for no extra charge. Wonderful great experience and thank you Dominique for making my party so awesome.

My sister took us here for dinner a couple of weeks ago. It was expensive and highly disappointing. I give two stars because the hummus and chicken were ok and the 1 server they had for all the tables was nice enough. The bathrooms have the worst smell I have had the unfortune to know of any restaurant I have ever been in. I wonder if it is the pipes or mold? God only knows, it was horrible. They should call this place Lemon Tree, because pretty much everything tasted like it had been marinated in a sour one. Especially the cabbage rolls. Its a shame really because this place has so much room inside and a nice ambiance. My two girls shared a kids plate, my husband and I shared an entrée, we got 1 appetizer and 2 glasses of wine. $90. Wont be going here again.

Unique menu with great tasting dishes! Live piano music, has a side room with a bar, nice decor in dining room, and a cute outdoor dining patio. Cooks everything with virgin olive oil. Has lamb, filet mignon, red snapper, kabobs, salmon, chicken, etc. Nice gem of a find in Pasadena! Surprised Passdena has a nice spot like this. Really.
