My first shoot with Julia was back in 2020 and I continue to go back to her when I want beautiful boudoir pics. Her studio is great with amazing lighting, and she always has wonderful hair and make-up artists on hand for you. She s great at getting the perfect pose, with the most gorgeous lighting and the pictures turn out so pretty and artistic but still sexy. She s friendly but professional and will completely make you feel at ease even if you ve never modeled before. As a repeat customer I highly recommend her.

This is one of my bucket list is to have professional boudoir done. Julia and her team (Lucas & Amber, sorry it if got your names wrong) made me very comfortable and at easy to do the posses(& half naked). I am very happy with the choice I made with ShineOn. For years, my husband told me how he would love me to do a boudoir photo shoot. I typically dismissed the idea. I didn t see how I could ever be comfortable in that environment and thought my discomfort would be obvious in the images. I gradually warmed to the idea and finally took the plunge. I did my research and decided on Julia with SHINEon. The entire experience was amazing! Julia s first question was what I wanted from the photo shoot - not what my husband wanted. I wanted the photos to be beautiful pieces of art and not just sexy pictures. Julia delivered. The experience started with Ava doing my makeup and hair. My makeup made my skin look like glass in the photos. Julia helped select a wardrobe to fit my vision. She coached me through the posing process in her beautiful studio and then went to work creating the art I desired. The most difficult part of the experience was narrowing down the photos each one was a work of art! My husband joined us for the photo selection, and his jaw hit the floor when he saw the images. We selected twice as many photos for printing as we had originally planned. I would advise any woman who is on the fence about doing this to contact SHINEon. Julia made me feel like the most beautiful woman on the planet during the process, and she will do the same for you.

My first official solo photo shoot complete with hair and makeup was more that just a moment. This was me making a commitment to myself, months in the making. From pulling up bootstraps to DM interest, to a change of diet and training to prepare mind, body and soul. This forced my hand to take care of me on a much broader scale. Julia is very talented and personable! This was an awesome experience because her photos are high quality (and not cheesy!!!). Shes flexible, welcoming any ideas you have going in. Whether you want an exotic, cute/playful, or elegant/romantic look, she can do it all. I took a combination of the above. She has a fully stocked closet as well, and the studio is beautiful. My boudoir session today was absolutely amazing! Julia and her makeup artist Ava made me feel so good, the vibe was so fun, so chill and they just did such an incredible job making me feel gorgeous and empowered as an over 40 woman! I brought my own lingerie and heels, but Julia had her own stash as well for me to try on a man oh man did she hit the nail on the head with them! Everything was such a breeze and fun from start to finish. She is such an incredible photographer and her vibe as a person was just a breath of fresh air. I felt so comfortable with the poses she put me in and guided me through! Definitely hope to work with her again in the future!

Julia and her team were FANTASTIC! This is something out of my comfort zone, but that my husband and I have talked about as an empowering experience that we would both love. Julia made the experience very comfortable and personal, with excellent styling options. She walked me through all posing and was very encouraging during the shoot. Julia really has a passion for this and it translates in her gorgeous photo style. I loved that the raw images were available for viewing immediately after the session, as with every other photographer experience I have had, you have you wait weeks before seeing any images. Julia goes through all the raw photos and lets you pick your favorites before editing. And the video was completed immediately as well and sent to my phone, so I had something to give my husband immediately after the session. The videographer was amazing as well and it turned out beautifully. There was a minor scheduling issue and we got started about an hour late, but it was no big deal as I had nothing else planned that day. Julia made sure I had plenty to eat and drink and made it so worth the wait. She was even kind enough to gift me with a few images for the wait, which I did not expect. The makeup artist was awesome too; she worked with my natural colors to make a look that wasn t too over the top, but was just intense enough to make my eyes really pop. I can t imagine going to anyone else for boudoir.

I booked two sessions for my best friend s birthday. After booking, my best friend s father suddenly got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and she wasn t able to go because she needed to care for him. This cancer diagnosis was 3 1/2 weeks before our sessions. I called 3 weeks before our sessions. I was given the option to reschedule for $100 each, as long as it was within 30 days but with him be ill I did not believe we would be able to even go within the next 30 days. She cancelled our sessions and gave me no refund. As she said she needed 4 weeks notice. Ironically my best friend s father passed away the weekend we were to be in Houston for these photo sessions. This business has a complete lack of empathy.

I had the best time with Julia! To say this was a bit out of my comfort zone is an understatement, but Julia and her team were fantastic. I did a couples shoot earlier this week and cannot praise Julia enough for the experience. I have always wanted to give this a try and was extremely nervous; Julia and her whole team did an amazing job at making us feel comfortable. Everyone was very professional and easy to vibe with. Julia and her videographer were excellent about directing us on what to do and where to look. Also, Julia made sure to pick out outfits that were so flattering that I felt almost as though they were made just for me. The only thing I wish I had done differently would be to have spoken up more about my makeup. The makeup artist was a really great woman to hang out with and is very good at her job, however, I just wasn t crazy about the look that we went with. It was well done, but I didn t feel as though I looked like myself. That s where my inexperience truly came into play. I didn t know how the look would transfer over to the photos and I guess I thought I would feel differently about it once I saw the final shots, but I didn t, and that s completely on me. And now I know better for next time. My fiancé and I both had so much fun and ultimately love how the photos turned out. We ordered a 9x12 leather bound album and are so so excited to see how it turns out! Plus, we are already saving up to book our next shoot and to buy some of her high quality wall art!

My shoot with ShineOn Boudoir in downtown Houston was the first professional boudoir photoshoot Ive ever booked, and I was very nervous for weeks leading up to it. I was not in a very body-positive mindset the evening before and even walking into the studio the day of, but that quickly changed as I talked with Julia and her team. My nerves calmed when Laura started on my makeup, and Kendall handed me a glass of champagne. Leading up to the photoshoot, I received several emails with information regarding their downtown warehouse loft location right across from Minute Made Park and parking. They also included how to best prepare for the shoot from what to wear, skincare suggestions, and where to buy high-quality lingerie if I didnt already have some. The email sent the day before let me know the timeline and everything that would take place that day. Their excellent communication certainly helped me relax before the big day! Laura did a beautiful job on my makeup. I typically wear very natural and light makeup, and it was fun to see the drama she added, so my makeup would stand out for the shoot! I still looked like myself, which was important to me. While Laura did my makeup, Kendall went through the several outfits I had packed and my jewelry to pick out the shoot styles. She and Julia decided to put me in a few pieces from Julias lingerie line, and they were absolutely stunning! It was wonderful to hand over the final decision making to their team of professionals and relax. Once my hair and makeup were done, I got to see the outfits that had been styled for me, and we started the shoot. Julia demonstrated and talked me through exactly what poses Id be doing for each shot. She kept saying gorgeous or perfect with every shot, and it definitely boosted my confidence. By the end of the shoot, we had several stunning photos to choose from, and we sat together to whittle down the choices. This was the most challenging part of the experience, and I was stunned to see myself on the screen. Was that really me? The lighting was stunning. The curves and angles were so feminine and breathtaking. She and her team had managed to bring out the goddess in me, and I couldnt have felt more confident leaving the studio. I will be recommending ShineOn Boudoir to all of my friends. Men and women alike! They also shoot couples, which could be such a fun gift for a birthday or holiday. Im certainly hoping my upcoming birthday involves a gift certificate so I can snag more of the photos I had to weed out from this shoot! Highly recommend!

Life changing!! I highly recommend booking your shoot with Shine on boudoir. My experience was over the top, from booking to post pictures. Julia is amazing with sending email updates and reminders, she even sends tips on where to shop, what to do and what to expect. I was extremely nervous about my shoot, I m very self conscious and have body image problems, let s say I m cured from all that! I didn t think I was prepared to be photographed in lingerie, I hadn t lost the weight I wanted or gotten the tattoos I d been wanting, I was close to rescheduling but I thought this is me, this is who I am now so I went with the original chosen date. The day of I arrive and wait till about 5min to my appointment time to go into her studio and get started. I had met Julia at a VIP party 4 months prior and she totally remembered me!! That was awesome feeling. We get to the studio and she s super chill, nothing is rushed she tells me schedule and we begin with makeup. Telly was amazing!! She did black smoky super dramatic! Wasn t afraid to push the limits, she was quick easy to talk to and held conversations very well, by the end of hair and make up I asked her if she would stay for them entire shoot, she said yes of course she s always there for the entire thing. That was great I didn t feel alone. I got dressed, and we started shooting. They told me exactly how to pose, breathing exercises and tips throughout the pictures. Time just flew.. I forgot I was nervous, insecure and shy ... everything went out the window just like that. At the end of the 3 outfit changes Julia says she s going to do quick edit and put everything together, I m more than welcome to come in and hang out in their office. I grab a quick snack,( they had lots to choose from) and go and sit in her office. She has the comfiest couch that you just sink into and relax!! The pictures where mind blowing, I couldn t believe that was me. Julia has amazing eye for color coordinating, putting outfits together, matching jewelry together and most importantly positioning body to make you look your best!! Post pictures I message her to thank her for an amazing experience and she was very quick to respond!! Since my photo shoot I have a boost of confidence!! Taking boudoir pictures is an experience that every woman deserves to have.

My experience with ShineON Boudoir was amazing! I had wanted to do a boudoir shoot for my wedding 2 years ago to give as a wedding gift to my husband but I was too nervous about showing off my body. Well, I finally took the plunge and I couldnt be happier with myself. Not only are my photos beautiful and I had tons of fun but it really helped my self confidence. Julia and Telly helped me to see my body in a way I never had before and I felt sexy and happy with me! I was still super nervous when I showed up for my shoot, but Julia and Telly were so kind and understanding I was able to open up and they really got me out of my shell. Telly did my hair and makeup and she did a fantastic job! I had no idea how I wanted my hair and makeup done but Julia and Telly figured it out for me. Telly did a very natural hair and makeup which was nice because I could still see me, just enhanced. They both coached me through poses, how to breathe, and where to look. I think the pictures came out beautifully, they werent overly sexualized it left just enough to the imagination. They had tons of ideas and different backgrounds so I had a large variety in my pictures. My favorite ones were taken with just me on the floor, I got to do some of the most fun poses there! They both have a lot of attention to detail which really showed in my pictures. They even made sure to pose my hair for me! I wish I hadnt waited so long to take these pictures, Julia and Telly showed me that I didnt have anything to worry about, I was only holding myself back from a great experience. I was timid at first. In all honestly I dont know how to move my body since the new me is so different. Im not use to my pictures taken or even being told I am beautiful! I am going to be really honest with you ladies. Julia asked me if I wanted to do a boudoir photoshoot. I was flattered but at the same time anxious and scared. My body wasnt the same and I was very uncomfortable even being in a swimsuit with my kids. How was taking pictures in panties going to make make my self-esteem any better? Guess what, IT DID! Julia made me feel very comfortable even though I was anxious and nervous. Taking those pictures made me feel confident and empowered. No I wasnt the exact same size as I use to be, but I was still beautiful! I wasnt just a mom, I was a sexy woman! The boudoir photoshoot was an amazing experience and made me feel confident again. Julia is a phenomenal photographer. She has a passion for her work, and it shines through in her sessions. Her work captures her clients in a classy, sophisticated, sexy, beautiful way. As one of her clients, Julias personality and energy made it easy to feel comfortable, to be myself; and it allowed for my photos to really portray who I am. And it was fun!! The ShineOn studio is THE perfect place for a boudoir shoot. Julia has poured time, effort, and spared no expense making sure that each of her clients has an experience during their shoot that is second to none. From the chandelier hanging above the bed, to the headboards and other furniture and areas to create an individual experience for each client. Julia has a way of making each session unique. My favorite thing about ShineOn Boudoir is that there is no pressure to meet a certain look, body type, or style. Julias clients are all ages and body types. Theyre fitness models, stay at home moms, newly engaged women, couples, people who have celebrated a weight loss goal, expecting moms, NORMAL people. Julia creates art through her photography in each and every man and woman that she sees through her camera lens and it shows. After shooting with Julia, I see exactly what her great reviews are all about. Ive sent several of my friends and clients to Julia and theyve all been impressed by her work and professionalism. Julia made my session fun and she did a great job at calming my nerves. She has a great personality that anyone can love and easily open up to. It was a one of a kind experience and my photos were absolutely gorgeous! So glad I did it. Thank you! :)
