No wonder most of the reviews for this place is about the service. We came on a Sunday, where there are only 3 tables occupied. The bartender sat us and another party and nobody ever acknowledged us. They know we were looking for a server since it s been 10 minutes, nobody has gotten our drinks, and they can see us looking at them but they keep on talking and ignoring us and standing around the bar like we re disturbing them. Finally just decided to leave, since it s obvious that the servers are acting like we re doing them a disservice by coming in here. I know the food is good but no place is worth it with that kind of disrespect. Hopefully this place can find better workers

Food was great ! Definitely service is really bad our server Danna was so disrespectful first she would throw our drinks and our plates, she seemed in such a hurry the hole time. When she brought us our plate of how fast she placed it on the table it slide on table almost falling on me, if that s not enough she still expected a tip and well we where walking out she made a rude comment on how she would not serve customers that don t leave a tip, We are not tipping no one with that quality of service period. I recommend this place hire better servers.

First we waited 35+ min to get our drinks and my friends had to go to the bar to get it. Appetizers were also taking forever. Then they bring one meal and not the other. HIGHLY discourage anyone to support the owner/manager whoever I dealt with. I have 10+ years bar and management. Bartender did great and food was okay, but owner came out being as RUDE AS POSSIBLE to this poor young bartender. Apparently two people before me complained about her being rude (just plain MEAN) to the bartender IN FRONT of customers. Threatening her job over NOTHING. Finally the young girl said in an appropriate manner that you keep getting mad and onto me when no one ever trained me she got fired on the spot in front of me. I told them that was wrong and I want to check out so I can tip her and the owner said she not getting any money from me! Threatening to not even give this young lady her hard earned money. When I spoke up again for the girl and told her I would cashapp her tip, I was told you don t like them you go too an don t come back with pleasure lady. WORST management I ve ever seen in person and I recommend people let her know that. This is my first time being a Karen. Also my first time being banned from any restaurant or bar. Also, I was the only one at the bar and the owner did not acknowledge me once, even while she BASHED this poor girl in front of me. First and last time for sure. Do not support people that can t treat others nicely. We are all trying to survive here.

Indeed its hard to get decent seafood in the middle of the desert its either already Frozen or flown in alive..... For the money I spent I was disappointed I tried to get an entire crab blackened. - you know thats like pan toasted with spices.... Unfortunately everything we ordered came out steamed in a bag with greasy butter or oil, And my crab order was barely four legs not even the whole thing. Went home hungry bloated and gassy spent over $120. I used to eat here at least once a week. The food still tastes good but they got really stingy with the portions and seasoning. This was the last time ill go here. Over half my clams were empty, the crawfish had a toothpaste texture, and I know theres more than 5 shrimp in a half pound. They just got cheap with everything. Do not recommend.

At first appearance, the restaurant looked empty. No one at the front for seating at first, but the sign says wait to be seated so we waiting a few seconds and was approached by a smiling face young man. The menus could stand a professional touch and are falling apart. They have tall tables and short tables, which was perfect for me. Also booths and seating at the bar. I didnt really know what to expect going in. A look at the drink menu put a huge smile on my face. I have no idea if they have sodas because the milk tea had me from the start. They have another menu for alcoholic drinks. We would have had a waitress, but she disappeared. Thankfully, the young man opted to wait on us. It really wasnt that busy so i have no idea where she went. Maybe she only wanted to wait on the larger group, than just the 2 of us. We were generous on the tip, so her bad. The food menu has either crab/crawfish broils much like Joes Crab shack might have, as well as fry baskets, appetizers etc.. To start we asked for gumbo and fried pickles. Fish basket and shrimp basket and beef rolls. The gumbo isnt gumbo, it was a congealed kind of sauce, but not roux. The majority of the flavor was in the cilantro, strangely, that topped it with a fourth cup of boiled rice in the center. At first i thought the okra lent it the slimey texture but there really wasnt that much in it. The shrimp is not the tiny kind, and the cooked onions sat trapped in the jello consistency of what would have been the roux. The fried pickles didnt meet the standards we are used to from having them at other places. The fish was flaky and moist and the batter had a good flavor, not too salty. It sat atop the real treasure we found, which was the fries. Same for the shrimp basket. They were partly butterflied and fried it what looked to me like, the same batter as the fish. My disappointment in the main dish i ordered was that it didnt automatically come with the hush puppies. Why not? It wouldnt cost you a ton to let us have a dollop of seasoned, fried cornbread batter with a sauce like they have at Big daddys. They didnt have the beef rolls so we opted for pork, which i dont really care for. I havent had the chance to try them yet, we were hoping to eat before the drive in movies, but it did take them so long to get it out to us, as other reviews have mentioned. Perhaps due to being made to order. I got ANOTHER boba tea, mmmmm. All in all, its up to par with the mid restaurants in this town, but not quite fine dining. Its great for bar food. I think with a few tweeks, if the owner even really has a passion for feeding people good food, he would have a reel hit, if he/she tried. Create a signature sauce for your hush puppies like catfish and co had, and offer it as a given when someone is seated, like chips and salsa. Really try to set your restaurant apart from the ones who dont care about their business. Roll your sleeves up, yall. You can do it!

I would have had better service from a group of infants, like Im shocked this place is still in business. 5 of us for dinner, 3 plates got served and the other 2 was 45 minutes later to a point we just took it to go. We got there and were seated right away drinks were taken order was taken, but after 15 minutes our advertisers started to arrive and our food arrived but our drinks were never served I requested a drink from the bar, I talked directly with the bartender to explain my drink and it was still messed up because they didnt understand what I wanted apparently, and even the whiskey that I ordered was not on hand. The food that was brought out was super spicy after we had requested non-spicy, once we visited with the waitress she offered to rinse the food off so that it wouldnt be so spicy. . That was the only accommodation that was offered and once we got ready to pay the bill visited with the supervisor that was currently on and no discount or apologies were given because we were supposedly refusing their accommodations and my wife was called a liar to her face that the waitress did not say they were going to rinse the food. Everybody elses orders came out in a steamed bag and ours was sitting on a platter that had cold crab legs and crawfish that you could break the tails in half as you were pulling them apart. I dont expect Gordon Ramsay cooking in Odessa but a little bit of a college effort would go a long way. All in all I do not recommend this place, service was the worst Ive seen in Odessa and the food wasnt far behind it. We will not be going back and its sad because our first time there it was great food and great service. FYI our bill was over $200 SMH.

We ate lunch there for the very first time today, and even though our waitress was training a new worker and she usually works the bar area she was friendly, we never had to wait or flag her down because we needed something. If we had to wait she always told us why we might be waiting longer than normal, also the management was amazing and made sure everything was to our satisfaction they were all kind to my 2 year old and even got on his level and spoke with him not every place does that. It means a lot to me as a mom. Will definitely be back it was very clean as well. Kid-friendliness: They had some decorations with balloons and my son wanted a balloon so our waitress got him one. They all spoke to my son and treated him with kindness even bending down and talking to him eye to eye.

Not big on sea food but its a nice place. Chicken I got was delicious and the crab my wife got was good as well. The only reason they did not get 5 from me is because Im not a big fan of sea food.

This has to be THE best restaurant in Odessa!!! The service was AMAZING, the food was SPECTACULAR, the staff is beyond TERRIFIC!! If you havent tried this place, youre missing out!! I dont normally post about places I eat at but this is DEFINITELY my favorite restaurant!!!

Food was nasty, it wasn t seasoned and the fried rice was absolutely awful we couldn t even finish it, waiter was nice but he couldn t remember what we ordered, he had to go back and ask us twice and when he brought us our food he still forgot my plate and acted like it was the kitchens fault when he was the one that forgot it.

We all got sack #3 which was 1lb of shrimp 1 cluster of snow crab 1 potatoe 1 sausage and 1 corn. Wish we wouldve got more corn, the flavor of it all was amazing- Cajun, Mild is what I got. Along with a boba brown sugar milk tea. Everything was great but service was a bit slow. Need more experienced staff..

Place looked good server was on point food wise not worth it acholic beverages was good , appetizer was good but 12$ for 2 small pieces of toast is a little steep crab or no crab period crab leg snow crabs had very little meat ,,sauce was good and 2 little eggs and 2 pieces of sausage for 40$ is alot for hardly any food #still hungry on the upside my moms fish basket had practically 3 entire fish in it for 13$ she had more food then me ?

First time here staff is very friendly I ordered the #3 steam bag snow crab legs and shrimp with the Cajun hot seasoning. Shrimps were plentiful and large crab legs large also. Definitely coming back for try more.

Great place! Love the size of the margaritas and love the seafood! My fiancé and I usually get the seafood bag every time, cause it s the best around, this time we decided to flip the menu around and try something else out. We still had that taste for seafood so we decided to go with one of our favorites fried catfish. Hadn t had it in awhile. The fish itself is nice and soft, literally breaks apart in your mouth. Unfortunately so does the breading. Breading is understandably grainy but usually doesn t disburse in your mouth like million of tiny bee-bees . (Not to sound funny) I would definitely suggest changing the current breading for something that ll stay together and on the fish, or is it not battered using eggs? It s either missing something or needs to be replaced or tweaked.I would hate to have for this not to be my only place to go for my seafood craving. I am originally from Louisiana, so I crave for it more than the average person will eat it. Definitely wouldn t mind being a taste tester for it! :) I would like to point out that there are no hesitations and no questions asked. Me and my fiancé came in a little around 9pm and I preferably wanted the patio so it could be us. I thought I would have to explain that but as soon as I said something about the patio, the guy immediately said, I ll BRB I ll go get the key. As he came back our server walked us out there and immediately tended to us. I m horrible with names but if you we my server with the two individuals on the patio and the host that for the key no questions. Thank y all! Wonderful Cx service from you both!

Worst experience of my life. Waiting for drinks for the owners to take shots with customers. Seems like they opened this restaurant up just for money because those people have zero experience, unprofessional, argues and talks down to their employees in front of customers. I ll never go back or feed this food to my dog. I ate for the soft opening and they made me pay cash app. I just went again last night to see if they ve improved and I was strongly mistaken
