I was craving menudo after church one day so we stopped here. I saw a few people eating menudo so I figured it must be good. WRONG!!! As the waitress handed me my bowl I almost threw up. The pansa wasnt cooked all the way so it had a funky smell. I tried it anyways. It was so bad! & Then the waitress had a sorry attitude! We couldnt ask her for anything shed be making faces like she was annoyed rolling her eyes lol. The tables were so close to each other we had to squeeze just to try to sit down hoping not to disturb other people smh my son asked for queso they didnt have any, he asked for something else they didnt have it. Omg what the hell do yall have smh We spent over a hundred dollars and still went home hungry. Dont waste your time or money here. Go to Garelys! The menudo there is excellent compared to this trash.

I was lied to about menu and pricing. Tried to order the fajita plate with shrimp. On the menu, it said the fajita plate came with beef, chicken, OR shrimp. When i tried to order it with shrimp, the server swore up and down that the plate comes with all 3 meats. I was confused and looked at the menu again and she once again kept saying it comes with all 3 meats. I said oh, okay, and she left. After dinner, i get my bill just to see a MASSIVE up-charge on it from having all the 3 meats that supposedly came with the plate. Co-worker got ripped off too. Never coming back to this shady place.

I came in early on a Sunday morning. If I could give 10 stars for service i would. I ordered the mexicano plate with beef chile relleno, red cheese enchilada and asada taco. The red enchilada sauce was 100% authentic and delicious. The chile relleno was also flavorful. I was extremely impressed with the salsa served with chips! I will most definitely be making a trip back here.

The Menudo was extremely delicious, and the bowls are very generous (the small size is the size of a large bowl!). The bread that they serve was very good as well. Most definitely, I will recommend this place for good menudo!!

Pretty good menudo .I ordered a to go menudo and it was a pretty large portion (depending on how much you eat ) but 2 adults could easily eat off of 1 large menudo . I ordered it with patitas but it had none so it was a bit disappointing but other than that the price was good for the portion . They were also pretty fast and friendly . The place is pretty small though for a lot of people and it gets pretty packed .

All I can say is the menudo is delicious. My original post was 3 years ago, Im changing my review now. They have new owners and probably a new cook. The menudo was horrible. No flavor whatsoever no matter that I added more salt, oregano and chile. Sorry to say I will not go back. Why change a fantastic recipe. I hope they ask previous owners for their recope!@

Update 2: Not the same as it used to be. Food isnt as good. Update: Its a spotty place for menudo. Some days are fire and others are not. Have had other things on their menu and theyre great. Its usually busy and packed which means service is spotty as the staff is always handling a lot at once. Food is always hot and fresh. Be sure to brush up on your Spanish before going. Parking: Parking is hell during busy hours. Be prepared to park in the street.

First time to visit and my first impression was how clean this place was. Waitress was super nice and attentive. Mind you there were only 2 tables being occupied. Salsa, coffe were very good. Menudo was somewhat good, but it was pretty bland. If I could best explain it, like water downed menudo. My husband also agreed on the taste. But, hey..maybe it was just that day. Other then that I would go back and try again.

Great service at Mr. Menudo, I am not a person who generally consumes Menudo since I hardly like it, however this establishment gave me the opportunity to try the best Menudo in West Texas. Every time I return from Austin, my family and I stop by this place for authentic Tex-Mex and Mexican food. 10/10 I would recommend it.
