They charge for ice for your water but they dont tell you until you pay, so paid almost $5 for 2 waters. The prices are pretty steep and they also charge for chips and salsa. Food is pretty good but definitely not worth the price. Will not be back and dont recommend unless you want to spend a pretty penny. Almost $50 for 2 meals and 2 waters.

Food was good, pretty expensive with an average plate of $15.99. Usually plates come with rice and beans but beans was never added to the plates. Plates looked small. They charged $3.50 for chips and salsa even though it was offered to us. Tea is $4. For two people $46 for a basic meal. Not really worth it when other places give you more for less.

My food was stellar. Best chilliqueles in town in my opinion. Here s my issue: we are a family of 6 and all ordered water. $9 + tax for water that I m pretty sure is nasty Odessa city water. $3.50 + tax for chips and salsa (which was really good TBH, but still). Then a credit card charge. So, before our entrees arrive, we re in for around $16 just by sitting down. It was pretty good, but hard to justify $9 + tax for tap water

Food is delicious. I ve been here a handful of times. However the pricing has been ridiculous lately. Be aware water to drink you will be charged $1.50 for water coming out the faucet. I asked for Chips NO SALSA $3.50!!! When i mentioned to the waitress that the chile relleno was not fully cooked and we didn t get to eat them because the chile was HARD , all she did was say oh sorry I ll mention to the cook. We had a group of 5 adults and spent well over $120.

This hole in the wall place is delicious. Not fancy, wouldnt even know it was a restaurant if it wasnt for the sign. The food is DELICIOUS!! To begin the food was very good and generous. Only negative would be the up charge for the tostadas & hot sauce. Probably close to my favorite salsa in area. I was greeted with a smile but unfortunately had some trouble communicating with my server. I asked if spoke English. She replied very little. So it became a point & explain. Slight disappointment because of this. Atmosphere was fair and actually the same as the previous restaurant and the one before it and so on. Only caveat of change would be the mariachi music playing continuously. Not a bad thing just a note for a few.

I was excited to finally try this new place. I was complementing on how beautiful it was as we were being seated. I stopped to speak to some friends of mine and then sat down to view the menu. I was there a total of 15 minutes no one came to take our drink orders or approach our table at all. A gentleman came in after we did and he was served drinks chips and salsa and again the lady looked at our table and kept going. There was another server and he didnt approach us as well. Sadly we had to leave and go to our favorite spot Jalisco on 8th street. The one star rating is for the lady who seated us.

My husband went to get burritos through the drive through. He doesn t speak Spanish and the lady said ok and hung up on him. He decided to go into the restaurant to order and the lady was still disrespectful. He STILL paid for 3 burritos added extra to the burritos and was charged for the extra beans and cheese. When he got home the burritos were not what he ordered. This is the second time this has happened. Get it together!!!

This place is so good to eat! I wish I could eat here everyday! Very good authentic mexican food! Make sure you ask if its hot or not to hot on what you pick to eat one dish I had was so hot I couldnt finish it but I really wanted too. The burritos are good got 4 burritos and one hardly had no egg bacon and cheese in it. I support a local restaurant and this isn t the first time this has happened to me here. Overall sad experience!!! Came with My husband looking forward to trying a new local restaurant, when we got there it was dead. We ordered waters and we re brought city water . EWW! We waited 30 minutes to try and order and get different drinks while all other guests were SLOWLY served. First time eating here, and I was honestly surprised of how good this Mexican food is. Im very picky about food, thats why Im giving this place a Chilaquiles had home-made sauce, beans were yummy, potatoes were spicy good and flour tortilla was delicious! Im going back next time to try the menudo. I highly recommend this nice little place, youll love the food, ambience, the service, the music as well, and prices are reasonable. They also sell flour tortillas by the dozen! I love coffee with my breakfast, please invest in half and half (not powder creamer.)

Let me begin with WOW! Its not too often that I truly enjoy mexican restaurants. Today I had the Birria Taco plate with rice and got to taste the menudo. Both tasted exactly as my momma or myself would cook. The rice was good as well. Our waitress Mrs. Rosa and her assistant were spectacular! Very busy after Sunday church but we we still seated and served fairly quickly!

Giving the 2 stars for the food and thats about it. Service was horrible. We were seated and not asked for our drinks until 20min later. I ordered a lemonade and requested it in a to go cup, but was informed they ran out so i was fine with their cups. Then we had to request for our chips and salsa because the lady seemed to have forgot, our server seemed to be the most slowest moving person ever. Everyone else seemed to be working on their tables pretty quickly, but our server was never to be seen...when we were finally asked our order another 20min later after our drinks were served we then noticed it was just this server that didnt seem interested in making any tips today. After we finished eating I then noticed they had to go cups because many were being issued out...so I said ok il ask for a to go cup now...after 30min after eating I then kind of try to get her attention that we were ready for the ticket. She comes over I request for a to go cup and the tickets, she still begin to tell me they still dont have to go cups but can give me the drink in a bushes cup I was like um ok...she brings the drink 10min later and still no ticket finally after 10min of waiting for the ticket we go to the front to see if we can pay out because a quick lunch turned into over an hour half meal because of the server ! Then she begins to charge me for 2 drinks when I asked why she said oh because I have to charge you for to go cup drink.. I was freakin amazed like really...I payed her and left with my 1st experience of that restaurant not being good at all. I then called and left a message for the manager to call me back so I can explain the service I had and why I wasnt given a to go cup from the restaurant while there were many that I visually saw and then charged full price for a to go cup/drink. Smh...they never called back so this is my review! Update the owner called very respectable and understanding said he will talk with her...Maybe well try it again later on.

I have always enjoyed the food when we have ordered for the office. But this time I was pretty much let down. I have gotten the birria tacos from here before. Today I ordered 3 plates to go after work and they were NOTHING like what Ive gotten before. I truly believe that it had to do with the evening crew as opposed to the day crew. They barely had any meat or cheese and pretty much were just thrown on the plate. I was excited for my husband to try them and we were very disappointed! Had an asado plate, wife had the flauta plate, both were really good. We also tested a taco, chicken burrito and fajita nachos... All were really tasty. I ordered to go. The food was ready when I arrived. Hot and fresh. Great flavor and spice! It was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back.
