Great hotel in Odessa it s hard to get a good hotel around Odessa/Midland but this one is great! They have a nice M lounge with good service and if you want to have a made to order breakfast they also have a restaurant on site as an option. Just across the street, there is a Taco place which looks like a chain restaurant but I ordered one of their tacos and I was surprised with a quality and how good was the food!

We recently celebrated my mother s 80th birthday at the Odessa Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The entire staff was incredibly efficient and friendly, making both the event and our stay smooth and enjoyable. Archie, the bartender at the hotel s bar, is not just a gem of the hotel he s a local treasure! So many of our local attendees already knew him, and he added such a personal touch to our experience. His special cocktail, The Archie, was a huge hit with our group we just wish we could get the recipe! The guest rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and feature floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning views of West Texas renowned sunsets. Our guests couldn t stop talking about how comfortable and well-appointed the rooms were. The hotel itself is truly unique, with beautiful art and a relaxing pool that offers a perfect escape. It s an ideal spot for a weekend getaway, where you don t even have to leave the hotel to have a wonderful time. A special thank you to Makenzie in catering for making the planning process so easy and stress-free, Kristie in accounting and Haley in reservations for being so efficient and helpful, and Ty and the banquet team for their attentiveness, flexibility, and friendliness. They truly made the event memorable. The front desk staff was also incredibly accommodating and made check-in a breeze everyone who stayed at the hotel was thrilled with their experience. Overall, we couldn t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important milestone. I highly recommend the Odessa Marriott for anyone planning an event or just looking for a relaxing weekend retreat.

We are regulars at the Odessa Marriott. It is the only hotel to stay at in the area. The staff is amazing. The food is delicious. The pool area and fire pits are outstanding. The vibe at the bar is pure west Texas magic. Looking forward to our next stay in October.

My first impression of this place was great. It is very aesthetically pleasing and looks upscale for the Permian Basin area. Unfortunately, the service quickly reminds you that you are still in fact in Odessa, Tx. Our room had plates with food under the couch from the last guests and crumbs all over the floor: We called 3 times before they actually cleaned it up. The first two times they came they said they could let find anything???? Then they did not restock our coffee bar so in day 2 when we called down to ask for sugar they said we could come get some down in the restaurant. My husband asked them to bring it to us since we were in a large suite celebrating our wedding weekend. The housekeeping came by and gave me everything but sugar Splenda, sweet n low, etc. She spoke no english so she just shrugged and left. Finally someone from the restaurant came with sugar. The refrigerator in the room beeped 24/7 and each time we went downstairs to the pool we asked them to please fix the beeping. That never happened. When we asked to speak to the manager the housekeeping manager Lolly, called us and said that since she could not make us happy we needed to be out of the hotel by 4pm. I m just still in shock over the audacity of a luxury hotel to treat paying customers this way on our wedding weekend. We had great food and service in the restaurant and by the pool, but overall it was a terrible experience and I would not pay a cent to stay there again.

We arrange a room for Friday night. We got in our room & it was not clean. Old food plates with food on them. Old drinks & trash. We call front desk & they say we will come clean it. Got up Saturday morning & it still wasn t clean. I went to front desk & told them. They said they would have cleaned. I came back at lunch went to room. Bed was made but trash & old food was still in room. I go back & ask to clean it. I left & came back to room & still all trash still there. So I call again & finally they clean it. A lady named Lolly, head of cleaning services. She was rude & defensive. So they are throwing us out of the hotel, by Lolly. This is just disgusting to treat people like this

Lovely Marriott Hotel, locally owned in the heart of Odessa. Everything was great, super clean, adorned with beautiful art pieces throughout the facilities. Nice bar with decent whiskies and alcohol. the only thing I didnt like was the lack of a menu to select your beverages from. The M Club on the second floor was nice but not special, lacks an expresso machine, so only black American coffee is available. There are only two varieties of teas to select from as well. Nice outside areas to relax playing corn hole or swimming in the pool. The hotel has two charging stations on the front for electric vehicles but if you are not driving one of those then you have to go around 6th street and park on the garage area, a little tricky for handicap folks. The gym is one of the best Ive seen overall, fresh towels, fruits, and water available. The hotel hosts a Brazilian themed restaurant, which I didnt try, but it looks worth trying. Nice rooms with bright, spacious bathrooms and super cold A/C.

Building is beautiful. Barrel & Derrick had tasty food and adult beverages, but the service was slow to check in, even with w reservation, and very stand off-ish during our visit. My husband and I travel a lot and have had good and bad experiences with hotels. This is a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, we weren t told our room was handicapped accessible. We started unpacking after a long drive from Las Cruces and realized it was handicapped appointed. Very sparse. No hooks in bathroom and no where to put toiletries. The hvac was making a loud noise everytime it kicked in and the air was cold. We had the temp up to 72. There was no way to turn it off. I used ear plugs so I could get a few hours sleep. Mgmt: have the front staff inform customers if they are given a handicapped appointed room. Had we known ahead of time, we would have asked for another room. We won t be coming back.

1/3/2024 Update: We were back in town and got to stay at this fabulous hotel again. This time we were upgraded to the larger suite. I thought our last room was great but this new room was even better! I ve included pictures. The staff was great as always and so helpful and their appetizers at the M Club were delicious Original: Omg, I loved our room! I absolutely loved the hotel but especially our room. It was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was so nice and the staff in the executive lounge was very accommodating and helpful. We were unaware that they served dinners so we had already stopped somewhere to get food before checking in it was not a problem though. We had their delicious coconut shrimp/wings and the lady in the lounge helped by heating up the food I had originally bought for me the next day. Will definitely be staying here again if we ever drive through Odessa. It s easily become one of my favorite hotels!

Incredible, most beautifully designed hotel Ive seen in a long time. My wife and I were astonished at the fantastic decor, layout, cool vibe, fabulous friendly service, excellent cuisine, beautiful & functional rooms, everything is simply phenomenal. Emilio in the restaurant is one of the best waiters in the world and every single staff member was exceptional. Best steak salad Ive ever had. Cant recommend the Odessa Marriott highly enough, truly a top notch hotel that all other hotels should study on how to do it.

I travel all over the world and exclusively stay at Marriot properties. This hotel is stunning and is nicer than some Ritz Carlton hotels I have stayed at. The drinks and food are delightful. The hotel grounds are always spotless and there is ample parking in the parking garage (max clearance 7 feet high). I have had dinner at the restaurant here and attended my companys Christmas Party this past Friday. I continue to be impressed by the staff, the design, and the structure itself.

We came to hang out as a family. We had to eat our delivered pizza in our room instead of by the pool as a family. We were told by staff we had to eat it in the room. Then another family brought pizza to the pool. My family member went and confronted staff. Staff came out addressed the issue and went inside. Nobody moved. Either way . We tried hanging out as a family even offered to pay extra writer band charges for the pool. We are not crazy party people and seriously only was 4 adults 4 children and they said we had to get another room since we had more than 5 people. The bar staff was nice and friendly and honestly so was the front but nothing was consistent as far as rules. Others were allowed to do things that they said we couldn t. please stay anywhere other than here .. unless they actually use this experience as a training lesson as they said they would and get it under control.

Stayed here for a work trip - like I would expect at other Marriott hotels, very nice rooms, service and lobby. Only complaint is the ambience music, it does not fit WTX. All I heard was pop & R&B, played loudly in common spaces. You can clearly hear it across the street outside! I felt like I couldnt escape some girl droning on about being fabulous, or a guy singing about having a strong concrete heart. This Marriott has WTX themed meeting rooms, TX alcohol, showcases Texas art and a Texas flag outside, but California pop music. Feels strange. I imagine few people staying at a WTX hotel leave and put this type of music on during their drive home. Read the room Marriott Odessa, youre in WTX, not LA or Manhattan. Id recommend TX country, or at the very lease something with acoustic guitar.

This seems to be new, cheaper build way of Marriotts. Not what I expected. I was highly disappointed from the service. As soon as we walked in Amary was very unprofessional and snarky. She acted as if she didn t want to help us. Once we got up to our room we realized she didn t even put us in the right room. Another lady was at the front desk when I went back down to let them know we were in the wrong room. This lady was a complete contrast from Amary. She was very sweet and helpful. She rebooked us and we went on our way. After being in our room we were going to grab something from our car but noticed a man sitting right next door to our room. Definitely freaked us out. On top of all of this the bartender Matty was rude and they falsely told us that the pool was temperature regulated to stay warmer, when in reality it s definitely not. Wasn t clean either. So all in all it s definitely not worth the hype. It was dead in the hotel and their service was still subpar. However the waiter we had at the restaurant was outstanding.

I haven t stayed in a full-service Marriott for a while and this is a very nice property. Very friendly staff, room cleaning every day, well stocked M Club, beautiful common areas and pool. The only thing that would make it better for me would be the addition of a sauna and hot tub.

Unless you have children over the age of 2, I do not recommend staying. You have to pay for breakfast, and they do not have microwaves in the rooms (microwaves are 1st come 1st serve). They do not have servicemen due to being very understaffed. I came for a dance competition and missed the time to have my room cleaned. The cleaning lady was kind enough to bring me fresh towels and take my trash, but she had me change my own bed sheets. I will not stay at this hotel again!
