Spanish speaking personel throughout hotel- NO ENGLISH Noteworthy details: Was there for high school 55 yr reunion. hotel under renovation, very noisy. pool locked down, 92 degrees with fire pit on outside blaring, toilet stopped up cuz no water pressure. They blamed us. Wont be back for sure!!!

The only thing you did clarify was that it was 2 ladys on the concierge area that had the issue with me. Not me with them. You also told me it was with other staff but you very well know that is not true. I have never had any issues with anyone else. My husband & I have been coming here for over 20 years. Its location is close to home & our middle son. Although the rooms were musty & outdated, we remained loyal customers. Once, an employee even walked in on us to show a customer the suite we were in (VERY poor timing as well). They did apologize & gave us a percentage off a future stay. Our favorite part was concierge level, & we didnt mind paying extra for drinks & snacks. Not 5 star, but made for a nice & quiet evening. Over the last few years, they hired a couple of night time female caucasian employees (8th floor) that were rude, looked at us all up & down, never said much to us, & seemed annoyed at having to get up from their party table to make us drinks. They even kicked us out early & wouldnt allow us to get anymore food because an airline booked the concierge room (we waited & they never showed up). My husband tried to complain but front desk said they knew of the ladys attitudes, but it was hard to keep employees. The 2 ladies found out, called the owner which went, waved hello, watched us for a bit, saw we had every right to be there and left. Not sure who those 2 ladies knew, but we arent allowed to reserve anymore. The person on the phone admitted that it was the 2 evening concierge employees that had us restricted. Lesson? I urge you to think twice about staying there. If you do, remember your rights.

My recent stay at Hotel Elegante was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel experiences I ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel fell far short of the expectations set by its name. What was supposed to be a comfortable and enjoyable stay turned into a series of frustrating and disappointing encounters. The problems began as soon as I arrived at the hotel. The check-in process was incredibly slow, with only one staff member attending to a long line of guests. It took over 30 minutes just to reach the front desk, only to be met with a curt and unwelcoming attitude from the receptionist. There was no offer of assistance with my luggage or any attempt to make me feel welcome after my long journey. Instead, I was handed a key card and directed to my room with minimal information. When I finally made it to my room, I was shocked by the condition it was in. The room was outdated and poorly maintained, with visible wear and tear on the furniture and carpets. The bed was uncomfortable, with lumpy pillows and linens that felt cheap and scratchy. To make matters worse, the room had a musty odor, and the air conditioning unit was noisy and inefficient, barely cooling the room. The bathroom was no better, with stained tiles, weak water pressure, and a showerhead that barely functioned. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned or cared for, and I was left feeling disgusted and uncomfortable. The hotels dining options were equally disappointing. The on-site restaurant was understaffed, leading to long wait times and poor service. The food was subpar at best, with overcooked and under-seasoned dishes that left much to be desired. The breakfast buffet, which was included in my stay, was particularly disappointing. The selection was limited, and the food quality was poor, with stale pastries, cold eggs, and weak coffee. It was clear that little effort was put into the dining experience, and it left a sour taste in my mouth. The amenities at Hotel Elegante were severely lacking. The pool area, which looked promising in the promotional photos, was dirty and overcrowded, with broken lounge chairs and murky water. The fitness center was a joke, with outdated and poorly maintained equipment that was barely functional. The hotel s Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected and get any work done. I also encountered issues with the elevator, which was slow and often out of service, leading to long waits just to get to my room. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of my stay was the lack of customer service. The staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, were indifferent and unhelpful. My complaints about the room and amenities were met with indifference, and no effort was made to address or rectify the issues. I felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. It was clear that the staff lacked proper training and motivation, which significantly impacted the overall experience. In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Elegante was a complete disaster. The combination of poor accommodations, subpar dining, lackluster amenities, and indifferent service made for a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and strongly advise against staying here. There are far better options available that offer the quality and service that Hotel Elegante sorely lacks. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and eager to put this experience behind me.

I ll find someplace without the overt religious paraphernalia everywhere. A huge 10 commandments monument is at the lobby doors. Besides this, they still have old pay phone areas where the phones have been removed. This gives you a glimpse on how slow they are to change and update. With the renovations they re currently working on, they should renovate the lobby entrance and remove the ridiculous monument. Will not stay again. Found this place on the recommendation of another local hotel. I am so glad they recommended the MCM Elegante Hotel. It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, the room was very spacious. A great experience! If you, for some reason, find yourself in the Odessa/Midland Texas area, come check out this place.

We were on a long road trip. Found this hotel online and it sounded nice. Upon arrival, went to front desk and they said they only had one room left. The jacuzzi room and it was $250 a night. We were tired and decided to just take it. Thought it might be nice to treat ourselves. When we walked in the room, it reeked of mold. It was a big room with a giant jacuzzi. It was bigger than our hot tub at home. Had a tiny faucet to fill the tub. That would have taken hours to fill. What a joke. Then we noticed mold all over the wi Dow side of the curtains. It was disgusting. The only good thing was we go to go and have free appetizers and cocktails, so we didn t need to buy dinner.

How this hotel shows 4-stars of Google is beyond me - and it made me choose staying here... which is extremely inaccurate and disappointing. The rooms are gross. The entire facility is old. Worst experience ever If u tryin to get some rest during the day it is impossible. We came to Odessa for work during the night and sleep during the day the hotel is doing some remodeling and making it impossible for someone to get some rest because all the noise they make, i even put my headphones on but the noise was too much. Would stay again. Really beautiful atrium with incredible stained glass chandeliers. My Mom enjoyed reading in the stately green armchairs. My daughter was enthralled with the fish tanks. Enjoyed the glow of the outdoor fireplace. Spa is open Tuesday- Sunday.

Awaken by water pouring down from the ceiling. My clothing, computer/leather computer case, suitcase drenched. Moved to a dirty room! Rude and unconcerned staff! Staying here for work. I was on the website an seen that if you book one of the 8th floor concierge rooms. It comes with a happy in the evening and a made to order breakfast, the website made it seems as if only the 8th floor could access this lounge. I was way wrong, anyone in the hotel can enter the lounge. So explain to me why i paid extra for an hotel room amenity when I could have booked any room and still enjoyed the 8th floor V.I.P lounge.

The restaurant is very clean and beautiful, but today I ordered a pasta on the phone and since there were not many people I decided to sit down and eat it at the restaurant. My husband arrived and I shared with him of my food that I had already paid the manager comes to out table and starts raising her voice in front of the people that we cant share pasta because its a buffet . I understood the problem so I went to buy another pasta. I didnt like the way she said things raising her voice there are ways to say them I felt as if I had stolen in a place they should improve customer service. My family and I stayed here one night on our long road trip and this was the nicest & friendliest hotel we stayed at. The service was fantastic the employees were so attentive and helpful. I also haven t been to a hotel that had Bath & Body Works toiletries which was really nice. We had breakfast and it was extraordinary. They had chips and salsa bar, biscuit & gravy and all the fixins , omelette and waffle bar, and a fruit bar as well. It was delicious. The rooms are charming they have character. The bed was amazing so soft and cozy. I loved everything about this hotel. I definitely want to visit again and visit the other Elegante Hotels and recommend to anyone.

If this review is helpful, please make sure you give it a and a like. I stayed here one night on business. The little extra things that the hotel provides, is what made this hotel likable to me. The hotel is in the midst of an update. So this is very promising. The rooms were a little dated but still very clean, and the bed was a good sleep. The small things like the Bath and body works , bathroom amendities. These are things that I purchase with my own money on my own time. So, I definitely appreciated getting them at the hotel. The fact that they have a microwave and a refrigerator in the room is incredible and very useful. The little popcorn machine as you exit the Hotel. You can enjoy a bag of fresh popcorn. The staff was very friendly. It is definitely not that far from the airport. The fountain in the lobby is an elegant touch. The ten commandments tablet outside the door a wonderful piece of art .

I was able to stay here once during a short stay and it was great. The decore is very dated if you care about that sort of thing. It has its own theme/charm to it though all things aside. But wow I stay at alot of hotels all over the world and I must say these are the most comfortable beds Ive slept in by far. Got my best nights sleep in years on their beds. They also know how to treat their overnighting flight crew. Outstanding hotel!

I went to a restaurant in this hotel for lunch. Parked my semi in the empty parking lot. Came out and was told I need to move my truck if I wasnt staying at the hotel. I told the guy ok. I popped my hood to midtrip my truck and trailer. Got back in my truck and was about to set my navigation. The police rolled up on me saying the manager had called. I told the officer what happened. He laughed and told me be safe & have a nice day. That was egregious and unnecessary. Either it was because I was Black or they hate truckers. Either way, I would stay away from this place.

We stayed in the king concierge room. The room was nothing like it said it would be from the website. The room was really dirty and outdated the tv didn t work, the ac didn t work and the shower knob was really hard to turn on, and the bed was extremely hard. This was supposed to have been a night to just get away from the home life but in all reality we were more than ready to get out of the room and go home. Save your money and go someplace else.

Maintenance came to my hotel room door to tell me I wasn t suppose to be in that room due to water leakage. I had already just used the bathroom and was already just sitting in a nearly half filled bath. I insisted to maintenance through my hotel door that I will call the front desk. Of whom was unsympathetic and just said that they ll find me another room. They hung up so I went to dry off, get dressed and put my things back together. I had open food and drinks too. I get down there only for them to tell me they sent their shuttle guy up to deliver the new key?? I standing there astounded. They never said they were delivering my room keys nor did they think about my safety giving my new room number and current location to another person.. not to mention I already came all the way down holding all of my belongings temporarily put together as fast as I could for them. Sorry it s just a leak here is a new key with this absolute disregard for sympathy, communication, and safety. To turn to her other staff member to continue their chit chat Do not stay here. I took my family to eat at the dining establishment there. For it to be a buffet it was lacking food! Empty pans. 6/23....We ate at the seafood buffet on a Friday. .... We arrived about 7:00 pm. The buffet was extremely picked over. Corn on the cob and potatoes and gravy were visibly dry and had been out a long time. There was no one concerned about or in a hurry to replace the food slots that were empty. The pasta bar was okay but communication in English was lacking. Much of the bussing staff did not speak English. Deserts were okay but not outstanding. This was a very expensive meal not worth the money that was charged. The garden salad was the best part of the meal. I have been there before (not at the buffet) and the experience was somewhat better. The seafood buffet on this Friday was not good.

The beds were comfy actually but the AC was super loud and the bathroom had someone s hair and old soap in it when we arrived. Do not recommend there are lots of other options in the area. And the Shrimp boat restaurant is awful.

Way too loud. From the traffic on streets, to the a/c in room, and those there taking advantage of the happy hour til near 11pm. The room smelled musty, the shower handle was stuck, so no shower next morning. Alot of furniture in room scratched or damaged. I know its not the Hilton in big city but thought it would be better.

Completely out dated. The sink doesn t drain. I tried and used the iron in the room and it just stuck to my shirt. The AC is loud and wakes you up every time it turns on. Never will stay here again The lady at the front desk was nice and friendly and it was easy to check in. Rooms: Outdated, sink doesn t drain, iron will ruin clothes. Carpet in bad shape

The rooms are fine. However, the restaurant would fail a health inspection as they leave food items out for periods of 6 hours or longer with out refreshing them or replacing them on their salad bar to include eggs and vegetables. Their soup was so old that it had formed a crust on it. When i approached the manaver at the front desk she said..... Ohhhh there is nothing i can do about that. Sorry. Zero customer service. My advice, keep driving to find another hotel. Not worth staying here and vetting sick.

Was there for an event for the day, we are local. Meeting Room was lovely, temperature controlled. The food was really good, steak fingers mashed potatoes, gravy, salad and peach cobbler. FRESH peaches. It could have used some salt or even seasoning of some kind in the batter, but it was still good. Thank you for the courteous treatment and smiles.

The place is alone is nice, looks good. There were no plates in the conference room to put breakfast breads on. And there was no coffee in that room sat morning. We were told by people in our conference we had to go into the hall way to get some. My room cold and me and my wife cold not get the heater to work properly. And maintenance worked on a wall and left sheetrock dust and the mess on the floor.

From phone call to check out the positive posture was there. As a person who loves to relx when i travle, the Elegante is ripe with theraputics. As i went all out for the jacuzzi room. I love staying here, but I stayed during Christmas party time. My neighbors were loud and up until 3AM. I had to get loud too. Upgrade to bathrooms would be nice. Rooms: Needs upgrades to bathrooms. Food and drinks: Love the Shrimp Boat always delish. Manager got verbally abused in front of me, but she remained professional.

Stayed here after a flight was cancelled out of the airport on an airline voucher. If you re in the same situation, avoid this place. Just pay the money and stay somewhere else. Room was dated, dark and scary. Experience started bad when we were on the shuttle almost to the hotel (25mins or so from the airport) and the driver turned us around to go pick up another customer back at the airport. Didn t help when someone attempted to enter our room at 2am, suspect it was a new check in who had the wrong room but when we called the front desk, no interest in investigating or seeing what happened. +1 star for the room service grilled cheese, if you try their surf and turf you are braver than we are.

Older hotel with paint peeling in the rooms. At 5 PM it is almost impossible to turn into the entrance without getting hit back traffic. The restaurant is overpriced and the food is not good. When I complained I was told they would pass it on to management. I would not recommend staying at this location.

First the positives: no bed bugs. But foot started itching on the carpet. Scratched top of foot raw. Free alcohol in the lounge on top floor was a plus, but not impressed with the food. But it s free. Top floor was nice not having someone stomping overhead, but night 2 my neighbor left for HOURS literally with the TV blaring. Front desk tried calling and reached the guest s cell phone. He left town. Staff can t go in to turn it down. If I can t sleep, why the hell am I renting a room? Will be staying in town for 3 weeks straight right after Christmas but it won t be here. Hotel is really outdated. Bet it was really something once upon a time. I just want sleep.

From the minute you walk in you will find the most important thing is customer service. You will also notice how opulent the lobby is. Now keep in mind this is not one of those big chain modern ice cold hotels. You will feel transported back into time but in a great way. The Lobby felt like an exclusive Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in another time. And yes, it felt like a different time, but it felt right. This grand old building is like it might have been in its heyday. Lush. It doesnt feel old. Spend some time with the giant fish tanks. The young lady at the counter was exceptionally friendly and very welcoming. There was also a large group of young people (some sort of soccer team. A giant bus) registered at the hotel and she was kind enough to mention it and kind enough to say, With your permission let me put you in a part of the hotel that should keep you away from any possible noise. She was right. We didnt hear anything. The room was also a vintage snapshot. Ive decided to call it the colonial room. The headboard was like a back end of a giant four poster bed everything had that same feel to it. Thoroughly enjoyable! One side note, the carpet in our room showed some wear. Not enough to bother us but wanted to note. They had a restaurant but cant talk about it, we never had time to visit. This was the third Hotel on the third night of looking for the right place to stay. And like Goldilocks this was the place. Would definitely stay here again. With hopefully enough time to actually enjoy some of the amenities. That fire out on the back patio looked very welcoming and very toasty. Rooms: Time capsule. Beautiful. Clean. Great temperature control. Comfortable beds. Pillows a bit soft for my liking but i didnt check if they had options Safety: Felt very comfortable Noteworthy details: The opulent feel of a travel in time. And not like things were run down but like you would imagine it was when a new hotel opened its doors for business.

Never will I ever stay at this hotel again. The only thing Elegant about this outdated run down nasty hotel is the lobby area. Had to move rooms twice and none of the rooms were clean. This is exactly why I pay the price and stay at a quality hotel. Giving the circumstance, I never thought my stay would be this bad at a hotel that calls themselves elegant. I would post pictures of the nasty rooms and the beat up furniture but I will just speak my peace.

The Hotel and the rooms are great. For the most part the staff is outstanding. However the concierge services when Ms Laura is working is sub standard. Out here oil companies keep these hotels open. When I stay it s out of my pocket. When you pay extra for a service and treated rudely by the staff you are obligated to make it known. I do not appreciate when I m taking food too my room that I m stared down by the hotel driver sitting and feeding his face. This is not the first time this has occurred but it should be the last
