We went here for the first time. It was around 11 AM. We ordered bacon cheeseburgers with curly fries, and banana pudding. The service was good, but we were sadly disappointed in the food. The burger was dry and flavorless. The toppings and condiments were skimpy. What little lettuce was in the burger tasted like it had been left uncovered in the fridge overnight. Nothing had any flavor, not the burger, not the fries, not the banana pudding. Ive seen all kinds of good reviews regarding their food. Thats one of the reasons we came here. So I dont understand why the quality of good was so bad on this particular day.

The staff seem friendly and happy---they must eat someplace else. The atmosphere is nice, but sets a high standard that is far from being met. There is a banner on the wall The Best of the Permian Basin from 2017. I think that is probably the year my patty was cooked.... The meat was DRY. Not dry--Im talking the Sahara desert has more moisture. I could not taste any seasoning... The top half of my bun was warm---nice. The bottom half was refrigerator cold! I expected better from a meat market. I expected better for the tab--$36 for 2 burgers, fries and drinks. Do better Whitehouse. Make em fresh...

Okay I generally love burgers and review them when they stand out. If you re looking for a Meat Market this is the place. If you re in Midland or Odessa and Love burger s this is a fine burger. The toppings are wonderful the bun is Mrs Bairds however the burger meat is truly the star of the show. No bits of bone or excessive fat and seasoned spot on! Hands down the best sweet potato fries in the area. Lots of parking and seating outside in rear parking lot. Reasonable price and just Great West Texas spot!

Visited to check out the burgers. They were good but didnt make us say great. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato. (See photo) Very nice people, quick service and burgers were cooked well. The atmosphere is busy, has a television and heavy chairs. No romance. Took both arms to move my chair. Very safe for someone of the larger size. I will be back to purchase meat packs. Great price with good looking fresh meat. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out for wheelchair.

I have ordered food from whitehouse many times and it was always cooked to order. I asked for rare; which i have received from there before. After i arrived they said they cannot serve that. I asked for them to cook it as close as possible to that. Then they gave me a well done burger. I understand the risks of eating overcooked meat. I will never order from there again.

Another place recommended by locals to try a feshly made burger. Since the place is a meat market too, my expectations were very high. The place was packed for lunch. Ordered the standard cheese burger. The burger had excellent flavoring, but when I compare against the grub burger a little ways from here, the grub burger overall was much better with the condiments on it. If I return to the area, I will try both places again to see if it is any different than my first try.

The hamburgers are over cooked my wifes onion rings where burnt food was a salt block and the burger tasted like liver . Never again will I grace their door step. Staff was friendly and professional. But thats all that was good they are by far not the best burger in texas.

I dont know what all the hipe is about. The meat is bland with no flavors. At least put salt and pepper. Very disappointed, this place is over rated, and the staff is horribly rude too! Usually a decent burger. Showed up at 546 before closing time, which was at 6, and they refused to serve me. Said kitchen was closed. Super disappointed in how the manager treated me and his response to my inquiry about not serving food during posted business hours. As an Odessan and supporter of small businesses over chain restaurants I hate to say they will no longer get my green vote.

I was excited to visit this place and left disappointed. Best burgers in Texas is false advertisement. Burgers were way overcooked and very dry. The seasoning was great and had the potential to be a great burger, but that is not what was delivered to the table. They have a great selection of choice meats and the staff was very friendly. If you re looking for great meat to take home and cook yourself, you re in the right place. If you re looking for a place to have a great burger for lunch, there s much better drive thru options.

I moved to the West Texas area a little over a year ago. Being new to the area I was eager to check out the best local dining spots. White House was one of the first places that my coworkers told me about. You have to go, the burgers are the best in town They were not wrong! The simple decor and meat counter inside hides a unbelievably tasty patty and all the fresh fixins you want. Friendly family service so its easy to understand why this place is packed at lunch! White House has become a favorite of mine and of my clients as well.

While the burgers ARE good I used to go for the freezer packs as well at the old location. Went in and couldnt get waited on! I was going to buy 2 freezer packs to stock up but they only wanted to wait on a family that came in AFTER I did and ordered burgers!! This is the second time I have had this experience so unfortunately Im probably done. I dont live that far from their old location and can get burgers elsewhere. It was the meat market portion I came for and sadly thats not the focus anymore.

My son an I come into the market an had a great welcome the men who work here where super helpful an while we took a min to figure out what meat pack we wanted we had bugers!! I got my order to go (place online order) Food was done on time as soon as I walked up to the counter Cashier was very pleasant and nicely mannered and had a great smile. He looked young but looks like he enjoyed his job The restaurant looked very clean and I didn t know they sold meat there! Totally was surprised.
