Went and got food. Waited about 7 mins at the window and when the food came out it was hot and fresh which I like. However when I drove the 7 miles back to the hotel to eat I noticed half my order was missing which were my sides.

We have had great experiences every time we come to this location. Everything is made to order or definitely tastes that way. Everyone that has waited on us at the window is extremely friendly. It won t let me add a new review but I feel like I want to give a review every time we come here! They are seriously the friendliest fast food in Odessa/Midland area! Today was a new face to us but just as great as the others! Thank you Samantha for the friendly service and going beyond to make sure we were satisfied.

My husband went in today about after 2:00 & ordered A 2 piece fish basket & WAS LIKE WOW!!! Now this is how fish should be cooked!! It was golden not flat just perfect! Use to work at LJS back in my younger years & you know when they re filtering!!! Good job who ever did the fish!!

Just ordered on 8/6/24. We have gone several times to try to give this restaurant a new chance every time and they never miss from disappointing every time. So we always go to the one on west county road where they are So polite and very clean it s incredible. Now 42nd everything bad always happens in this one. Today when I go my order I had absolutely nothing. It s the sampler which I they should know what is in it. Well no chicken at all. Had my coleslaw side, was it there, no!! Then yes my daughter should had asked for condiment but for having to order from a few Places I m sure you forget. Especially if it s not hers. But I believe as an employee they should respectfully at least ask if you need ketchup or at least Tatar sauce, since fish is all they gave me or anything. That would help everyone so much. But I guess going to the one on 42nd st Shouldn t surprise me. Another chance down the drain.

I asked to substitute my side with extra hush puppies but told me they couldnt do that but I overheard the cook and it seemed like she just didnt want to make more from what I heard. Breading on the chicken wasnt really sticking to the chicken and the fries did have very much salt and were cold. Would not recommend this location. Pretty nasty on the inside as well flies everywhere

I hesitated to enter the building when I saw how disgusting the door was upon entering. I had not been several years and was craving today. The prices went up dramatically and platters did not include drink. All of the tables were dirty and I asked for a rag to clean the table. The worker handed me a rag instead of offering to clean the table for me. They brought out my food which was good as it always has been. The 2 workers were standing around talking and looking at their phones instead of cleaning tables. The back of the booths look like they havent been cleaned in years. I am giving 3 stars because the food was good. The fryer will kill germs. But I definitely wont eat here again.

Called manager next morn (Odessa, Tx) per my visa was charged 3 separate times for 1 (same) purchase. Was told to call her (manager) back when I obtain receipt with receipt numbers. I did so immediately and ended up calling 20+ times where no one would then answer phone. Of course I contacted my Visa & will report to LJS corporate office. NOTE: Their Corporate has a 1.4 scale AWFUL rating! Food wasnt all that good either. Not sure/questionable, if employees are USA legals.

It took a very, very long time to get to the window. Im giving this one star, but dont get me wrong, the food was at least very delicious and fresh. However, we were sitting in line from 5:30-6:25. When we got to the window, my husband and I werent given all of our food (two #12s) so we had to wait longer for it to be completed... which I didnt mind, since we were already there for over 45 minutes or so. The girl at the window was friendly about me returning the plate of food (because the order was wrong) and didnt give me a hard time about it. My husband and I have been here a couple of months ago as well, and the lady also forgot one of the boxes of food for us back then too. Not sure whats up with that, Ill go here again when I crave Long Johns months down the road, but Ill certainly dread returning.

After ordering at the speaker it took over a HOUR to get to the window. I pay for my order to only recieve ONE box when I ordered TWO. Im not leaving until I get what I ordered. She proceeds to tell me that it will be a TEN MINUTE wait after already waiting over one HOUR to get to the window when my food should have already been finished. If you get in this line? YOURE TRAPPED and cannot leave. The drive-thru is designed like its from the 70s, and youre on a rollercoaster. If you order here.. God help you. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I WILL NEVER BE GOING HERE AGAIN. I have been in line for 30 minutes and only 2 vehicles have been in front of me(I am doing this review as I wait for my order and the 2 vehicles are still in front of me). Very slow drive thru service. The dining area only seems to have one family of 3 inside, not sure what takes them so long. Very often we are discouraged to buy food from here because of how long they take. Update 15 minutes later I finally get to the window only for them to try to give me the wrong order and wait for them to make mine smh.

The food was fine, same as I remember....building needs an update and deep clean, when I went to pick up my order there were two older adults and one younger kid working. The younger kid seemed to be the only one concerned with getting waiting people their food, the older lady was going in 10 different directions while accomplishing nothing it seemed like.

This establishment does need some remodeling to help better this location but that s not the staff nor managements control so I hope the owners find this review and helps out their staff better accommodate to their customers. This restaurant location is Odessa, Texas. It only has drive through service. Product quality was poor. The nice fish filets is no more. It appeared to be at least one quarter thinner than in the past. The chicken strips are good. We did not recieve all of the items we ordered but we were traveling through town and did not discover the missing items until we sat down to eat.

Id love to talk to the owner sometime. My dad managed this place in the eighties, it would have a line to the street on Fridays. The place looks closed. The 3 employees were sitting in the dining room if they didnt have customers at the counter. The food was old, coleslaw was soured, fries were stale. It needs a really good scrubbing overall. Sad to see one of my early twenty favorites in this condition.

Had a sign on door couldnt l go in door was lock had to go to drive through. Had to walk to drive through because Had trailer on truck. Got to speaker Had a sigh that speaker was broke. Simply has to be the most run-down, mismanaged, poorly staffed restaurant in all of Odessa. Definitely one to avoid, and with only two such fish places in Odessa, that doesnt leave much options. Service, food quality, and efficiency and competency of the staff is the worst of any of the restaurants that I frequent in Odessa, and the entire town sometimes lacks quality in this type of fast food establishment.

Dont dare order food off the website, if they dont have something they will not replace your food with anything other than clams, even if the item is cheaper than what you actually ordered, and if you dont want the clams they wont give you the rest of your food and have no idea how to give you a refund and will be rude about it. After being there almost an hour, they told me I could come back Monday, its Wednesday, and try to get a refund when someone else, I assume a manager, was there. Luckily after sending an email to support, they sent me a number and the customer service person I spoke to was helpful. Fast drive thru but they need a new drive thru speaker already its been messed up for a long time and its frustrating when trying to order and you cant hear what they are asking..... Fix the speaker

Order two variety platters number 12, both the same, got home, nothing was right its like they just put what they had left over in a couple of boxes and handed it out the window. First its not like the had anything pressing to do, only one in the drive thru. Going in isnt an option anymore.... why even bother repeating back my order. Like alot of poeple Im done with Long John Silver, They dont answer the phone.... The company doesnt care about it service or us the customer, Im no longer going to to visit any of there locations agian!

Poor service, their cc machine does not work management isnt willing yo go extra step to manually enter CC and tells you to have a good day before asking if I have another cc.

They close early when they feel like it right in a customers face. Did it to my 89 y/o father! First ran him out of the building told him to go through the drive through then after waiting in that line for over 25 minutes when he got up to the front they said they were closed....20 minutes early.
