We went in about 45 before closing and had to wait in drive-thru forever they told me they were out of everything except for certain chicken no sides at all and they sold us cold chicken I got spicy chicken that was covered with so much seasoning it looked like they just do a handful of seasoning on the chicken I live in Austin I drove 7 hours for this next time I know dont stop here they had no gravy and they wanted to charge us for extra dipping sauce this place is a joke right before closing time

This is the worst golden chick location I have ever been to. Every. Single. Time. We go they are beyond rude. It s 8pm I asked for mashed potatoes she says they are all out for the night okay, I don t understand that because you re open for another 2 hours? Make more. Nevertheless I ask for jalapeño poppers instead. No more of those either. I settle for fries, the only thing they had. I have to ask for my receipt at the window. Cold soggy fries & chicken. If you live here or are visiting do not come to this location! I have gave them multiple opportunities & each time they let me down. No customer service AT ALL. I live a few minutes from this location & am beyond disappointed that I can t rely on this location for dinner sometimes.

I see why this place doesnt have good ratings. I ordered a 3 piece chicken with 3 jalapeños. My fault for not checking the bag and assuming such a simple order could be carried out successfully. I ended up with a 3 piece chicken strip. 3 of the smallest chicken strips Ive ever seen paired with 3 extremely dry jalapeños. I dont understand how a pickled jalapeño can have absolutely no juice in it. I cant see myself trying Golden Chick again. My food was also stale feeling as if it had been there a long time. I really hope a manager reads this because this was a terrible experience. I wish the picture could portray just how cold the roll was, cold the mashed potatoes, dry the jalapeño was, and how dissatisfied I was to be eating 3 tiny chicken strips when I thought Id be getting 3 bone-in pieces of chicken.

Horrible service, my husband went on Sunday, they made him wait more than 10 minutes and gave him an incomplete order, I had to go to the store again, which is more than 25 minutes away, the worker with a horrible attitude said that it was the customers responsibility to review the order... if Im paying you for something its because thats what I expect to receive... I dont know why you have that kind of people there who are not at all friendly.

I came this evening and asked for a 6 piece combo with large fries and no drink. She said I could substitute the drink for another side. I said great extra fries please. I told them I didn t mind to wait tfor some fresh spicy tenders, she said some just came up and were fresh. Okay, great. Then my baby started crying. I pulled up, paid, and waited almost ten minutes with a screaming baby in the car. I got home, received one medium fries, one SMALL fries, and EVERYTHING WAS COLD AND HARD. Mind you I live less than 10 min away. They got rid of the sweet and sour sauce and this place is just plain garbage. I m tired of spending $20-30 to eat here and it s never fresh. Frustrated and disappointed to say the least. Stop lying to your customers, and train your staff to not drink their sodas by the window. As a previous restaurant manager, this is a violation of hygiene near customers food and looks extremely unprofessional. Also, THERE WAS A HAIR IN MY HONEY MUSTARD. I m not going to return. Y all can keep your cold, hard, and dirty food. Thanks.

Shame on me for not thoroughly inspecting my order before driving away. Received plain chicken instead of spicy, did not receive bread, extra gravy instead of side. Completely and totally scammed from this joint. Additionally, the strips lacked crisp so I can only assume they had been sitting in the warmer for too long. The only correct item in my bag were the packets of hot sauce that I had requested. Entirely botched. Cannot recommend this location.

1 car ahead of us, over 20 min wait. After a 2 min drive to the house and the jalapeño bombers were not hot and soggy. My sandwich was cold. The chicken strip meal was well made, no complaints there. The employees at the drive through were nice. I then call to see if they would replace the sandwich and bombers but my call was forwarded after the automated message. Overall, this experience wasnt great. I did this to myself because I left Texas Burger drive through, smh.

Horrible restaurant. Overpriced food. Ordered 10piece wings and forced to order it with 5 rolls. Ordered it with a family side of corn nuggets. Order came with 3 rolls and no side of corn nuggets. Dont order from here or expect to be ripped off. **Company then responded below stating to contact them via their website contact page and of course, no response from them. Another week later, I get a response from the company offering me a complimentary combo...but only valid at SELECT locations (the closest of which is about 4 hours away). Scam company - plenty of other chicken restaurants with better service.

Door Dash customers seem to like it. The menu looks appetizing. My husband doesnt eat chicken therefore I dont get it a lot. But I promise the next restaurant were in and theres a Golden Chick across the street. Im going to take an extra long bathroom break. It smells wonderful. Parking: You really park in the adjacent parking lot to a mini mall like. The drive thru about takes up all of it. Really small corner on 8th street. Wheelchair accessibility: Not really friendly

Manager has dirty nails, so we ask for (no ice) in our drinks. She still scoops ice into our cups without gloves and with dirty nails! That is disgusting. There is also always a wait for food fish/fried chicken of 3 to 10 minutes. The inside is so dirty. When you ask for spicy seasoning, they hardly add any. I have to add my own when I get home. These people talk like they dont even want to be at work. Its a horrible environment and a horrible experience each time I go. Unfortunately they are the closest Golden Chick to me. I think next time though, Ill make the drive to the Dixie location.

It took almost 15 minutes to PLACE my order at the drive thru. They kept putting in extra things and taking them out. Then it took another 20 minutes to get the food. I had to tell them that one of our meals was supposed to have a fries because they forget. There were 2 cars in front of me and one got 2 bags of ice & the other had like 2 meals in a plastic bag. There was maybe 5 people inside. This has sadly gone so far down hill I wont be back. We use to enjoy it now its horribly run and the food quality is atrocious!

This is the most horrible restaurant/fast food place in Odessa Tx. They never have your order correct and they are always out of something. Not as good as before. Food was acceptable but several items were missing, such as using non-golden chick cups, lack of silverware. Food was decent but chicken pieces were small. Also, for some strange reason, the Dr. Pepper tasted like Big Red, probably says a lot in the way this restaurant is being managed. Fries were actually good. Often closes early - turns off fryer 20-30 mins early too often. One night, I arrived at 9:42 to pick up 2 Uber orders, door was LOCKED, young kid came to door and said that their fryers were already turned off, as he was leaving to get into what looked like his moms car picking him up. Their hours on their door clearly indicate they close at 10 pm. How can they have food available for orders UP TO 10 pm if their fryer is already off and doors are locked to the public. If they are allowed to do this, their hours should say close at 9:30 but well sell whatever is leftover from all day up to 10pm. Wasted time driving there, lost 2 deliveries, customers then had to re-order somewhere else and start their wait time all over again.

Went to thru drive and ordered chicken salad sandwich. I normally get this but this day I received what amounted to a o with very little salad mix. Went back inside and asked what was this. A female and a male look at it and ask what wrong. I had to explain i order this all the time ..its normally a sandwich bun. The were rude and so I called corporate line . Still no answer. Called store on faundre and told the district manager in town and would pass my number to him still no answer they dont care.

I ordered the mixer family meal which according to menu was supposed to contain 16 tenders and 8 pieces of chicken but when I got home I only had 8 tenders and 8 pieces of chicken. So I was short 8 tenders but I live 30 min. away and didn t want to return to correct the issue. I will be sure and check order next time if there is a next time.

Arrived at 6:30 p.m. on a Thursday I understand places are busy but I sat in the Drive-Thru for 20 minutes and then was asked to pull up. Customer service is lacking and the young lady at the window failed to greet me and just proceeded to tell me what my total was. This is the second bad experience Ive had at this location with customer service and wait times that are extended beyond measure. I can honestly say I will not be visiting this location again

Horrible service! Went through the drive thru, waited 5 mins, then I said HELLO! A little teenager replied fast, in her voice she knew she was wrong, said my order wasn t ready, I said do I pull up or what? She oh yeah! Smh, I pull up to the first window, seen a lot of girls not doing nothing talking in a group, looking at me through the window, then 10 mins later, I m looking at the window for the food, a girl stands and looks at me, telling me to move up with her hands, then I see a girl pass by on her cellphone, had me waiting 30 mins for a order for a customer!

Normally I would brag about this place. I went to get some food around 6:30 pm on a Sunday. I think there was only 1 girl working. They were out of almost every item I was wanting! Then I ordered a 5 piece catfish plate and she told me they only had 3 pieces so I took them. Got home and the catfish was very small and shriveled up. I think it had been under a warmer since lunchtime. I also think the tea was a day old? I hope the quality is not going down. I used to really like this place.

Last night, ordered pickup through Doordash which stated itd be ready for 8:45. 8:50 the app showed ready for pickup. Drove up to the drive thru window at 9:02 and was told they were closed and didnt receive my order. After showing my charges and app showing order was ready for pickup, the manager came to the window. Frustrated, she stated shed have to see what she can do. Night before last, went through the drive thru to order at 9:40. Waited behind a truck who placed 3 separate orders. When I finally was able to pull up to order at 9:52, the employee told me they were closed. I stated Id been waiting but still refused to take my order. This place is inconsistent and has become a joke. We use to love this place
