Food was good, we had the Cali sandwich with fries. It was a bit dark inside, they needed help with wait staff. The restaurant was empty and we had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated we were taken care of. They just need more help.

This place is filthy. Does the manager not care what this place looks like. Look at the floor .wow the black lines between the floor tiles is growing. And the walls and furniture.Need cleaned. None of my silverware was clean. . I only wonder what the kitchen looks like. Felt sick to my stomach the whole time I was eating because the whole restaurant looked gross. Along with most dirtiest greases looking Bum staring through the widow at me as I eat. Will never ever be back at this Dennys.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE eating at Dennys however a group of about 6 people came in to eat at around 9:30 pm and the Cathy whom is the manager here practically yelled at the man cause he thought they were supposed to seat their selves she was extremely rude right away didn t try to talk to him with respect or kindness in any way and stated they don t have the staff to serve them meanwhile 3 dennys employees were sitting outside smoking right by the customers entrance door for a minimum of 30 minutes , that definitely made me feel like leaving and I m not the one she was rude to that man could have done who knows what because of her disrespect and could have had me and my son in danger !! She does not need to work here also right after saying all that to the man she went out side to talk to the other employees for about 15 mins her self sure looks like there was no one to serve them that s pure laziness

Our server Fernando is such a great server. I watch him and he treats all his customers as if they are the most important customer in the room. He has great work ethics and personable skills. And Laura and Fernando both go above and beyond to make your dinning experience a really great one. I gave a 4 on the Atmosphere, all though it isnt dirty, it could really use some sprusing up, the inside would draw more people if it had some remodeling inside done. Such as paint and new carpet even. Ive heard so many people in town say, until they do something with that building inside they arent going back to eat there. Just the building atmosphere is uninviting doesnt make you comfortable, I agree, but we dont have a lot of 24 hr restaurants besides Whataburger. I used to work at the Dennys off Hwy 80 years ago. It was a nice new building, we stayed real busy. I just feel bad for the condition of the building Dennys has to be in now. That has a lot to do with people applying to work there too. I know several people looking for work say no way would I work there, the building needs to be retired. Just thought I would be honest about the atmosphere and ambiance.

I would like to give a shout out to Cathy Stricklen for her excellent customer service and great management tonight, as my family and I are from out of town for the weekend. She was very kind, spoke with the upmost respect and managed a great team. Food was amazing and in a timely manner. It was a very busy night and she never once showed a struggle. We will be coming back to visit her and her friendly smile. Dennys should be proud to have her with them. This is the best service I have had in years at any restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Cathy treated my kids as if they were her own and with the respect I would expect from anyone for my kids.

I went by 4pm and it was an experience that i would do again, the cooker Tara Mobley was very talented and professional, she made for me and my wife the Cobb Salad and as a side she brought us steamed broccoli and the taste was very good. Our server, Cathy Stricklen, was so kind to us, always pending our table, asking us if we need something else and refilling our cups when empty. If I could give CATHY STRCKLEN, the manager on duty, late night a NEGATIVE FIVE Review I would! First, she told us it would be a 20 minute wait and hardly no guests. I ordered a burger and the bun was burnt! The server was very friendly and sincerely apologetic. Cathy on the other hand insulted me and told me I can t give it to you for free! After saying she would give me another bun and I declined. I never asked her for anything free , I wanted to bring it to her attention that the bun was burnt. She became very defensive and stated that s how the buns are supposed to be. She didn t even have the common decency to make another burger when she clearly saw it was burnt. Terrible decision to have her in charge of any type of customer service. She shouldn t even be in charge of herself much less in any leadership role over employees or providing customer service to guests! Her behavior was very insulting and offensive and needs to be addressed. If you come here make sure it is not under her watch.

There was a homeless guy that was disabled and 3 different people including my boyfriend offered to pay for his meal and the manager continued to kick him out. Normally, we really like eating at Denny s however, this Denny s was not a good experience for us. When we got there, we were seated pretty fast to a booth, but the booth that they took us to was not clean and visibly still dirty. The wild thing was the waitress took note that the table was still dirty, and instead of offering us another table, or even cleaning this one she proceeded to use her bare hands to dust off all the crumbs and pieces of food off the table onto the floor and attempted to adjust the condiments that were already at the table. we did sit down for a minute but once I had a chance to look around, I noticed that the whole restaurant was pretty filthy and it wasn t packed or anything, in which sometimes a restaurant can get pretty chaotic. To see the dining room this filthy. I couldn t imagine what the kitchen look like so we decided to leave without ordering.

The seats were nasty our food was cold and there was 2 hairs in my food I had ordered the premium chicken strips and my father ordered the omelet and they were cold my Mac n cheese had chunks of cheese and it was nasty our server didnt seem to care we paid 35 dollars to throw up thanks.

We went to Denny s in Odessa today. The hostess was fantastic. She was super sweet our server. She was great awesome she attempted to us she even gave extra attention to the kids. The food was awesome. It was so good. My bacon was fantastic. Our waitress kept my coffee cup full. She was awesome. I had a T-bone steak it was cooked where I wanted it. It was the best steak that I ve ever had at any Denny s ever. We will definitely return to Dennys in Odessa every week for the great service and the awesome food and the wonderful atmosphere

We love Denny s and today our waitress Norma tended to us with such care and amazing customer service. Short staffed and busy and she made sure we were taken care of. Our wait was short, our food was fresh and hot and the wait was short as well. Today, Denny s and the staff did amazing. We haven t eaten there in a few months but we re glad we stopped and ate today. Thank you Norma for being such an amazing waitress and so friendly. Thank you to the cooks as well for preparing our food the way it should be. Hot and fresh even though y all were extremely busy.

Went to Dennys to get take out and was informed that it would be 1.5 wait but the restaurant was not busy at all and then the waitress proceeded to let me know some in customers come first In those exact words. It s doesn t do any good to complain because they don t care. Went to IHOP and had an amazing meal and the service was amazing as well. Won t be going back to Dennys it s gone downhill and they have zero customer service!!

I ordered online a couple days ago and the process was the same as usual. It told me my order would be ready in an hour and gave me the estimate time. After the hour passed I walked into the restaurant to grab my food but when I got there the waitress told me that it wasn t ready yet. I proceeded to wait 30 more minutes and when I asked if there was an estimate time the food would be ready, the waitress responded rudely. I mentioned that the app says the order was complete and I can t access it anymore since it was supposedly complete. She then told me that if I wanted faster service then to sit down and eat instead of ordering it online. I waited for almost 2 hours until I finally got my food and when I got home I noticed my order was incorrect.

My Grandpa came into this diner and was completely ignored. He was not even greeted or given a second glance. Let s mention that he is 100% Hispanic and was the ONLY one ignored. I would never pull the race card but there is no other excuse today. I have half a mind not to call higher management and hopefully give the staff a little lesson on respect and equality. This is completely ridiculous. Happened at 11/29/23 at 4:30 PM. And let s mention I m WHITE. So the fact that he was ignored and no other guest was is just sad and pathetic. Do better it s 2023 now. Lisette is an incredible server. Every time I m in town she takes such good care of me at the latest hour of the night. I ve never seen such a level of professionalism by an overnight server. Cathy is usually on shift when I come in and she clearly has great care for her staff, and I think that s such an admirable trait.

We were to go out of town for the day for Thanksgiving. My husband got called out to work at 1:30 this morning, so needless to say we couldnt go. I ordered a turkey dinner for myself & husband who by the way is still working. After well over an hour of waiting for it to be delivered I received a text saying my order has been canceled & to call the restaurant. Of coarse nobodys answering!! I then get an email saying my card will be refunded. What a perfect ending to a already messed up day

This Dennys location has fast seating, friendly staff and fast kitchen. The food was delicious. Pancakes so good, syrup was not requested. Ham, bacon, eggs, toast were very good. Hash browns were fantastic. Two items which are frequently questionable are made to be superior at this location by this kitchen.
