Really nice park fall festival going on there right now oct 21 2023 lots of attractions food trucks, entertainers, fire trucks, bounce houses, drive thru light show at night. Also during Christmas holidays the park is super lit up beautiful. Also has a splash water park and across the highway the park has Frisbee golf, walking trails, and a large lake with ducks too feed.

Great place to take my 4 big dogs. 4 huge softball/baseball fields. Well maintained and very friendly place. Playground: Clean and safe. Dog-friendliness: The best place to bring your pups and run them until theyve had enough.

This is a nice little spot that runs along rt 20. If you walk under route 20 there is another part that connects. It has a different name and a pond. We stayed at the Holiday inn in the distance not knowing that these two parks were walking distance. You can literally park at one and just walk to the other park . Walking under a route 20 has a real urban feel with all the graffiti. Playground: I didnt stop to check it out but it is there

Small and some of the water features didnt work but still a good place to let the kids play and cool off. Porta potties were disgusting. The smell lingered on people after using them. Only had one table under the 5 giant umbrellas. One under a tree and two out in the sun. So take your own seating. Free to go though so that was nice.

This place has gone down hill in the past summers they used to have a better splash pads for the kiddos now u are lucky it you visit and the water is on or if the bucket is actually working they took away lots of spraying toys and now basically just water on the floor and a bucket Toilets: Not available

I only rate McKinney park because its changed for the worse. When I was a kid, I lived close by and went there often.The Ector County Parks Department kept it and other parks top notch. No one dared trash it. And it was one of the few places that had trees and bushes running alongside Muskingum Draw. No doubt it flows underground unless it rains. Today its trashed because people have gone from Trashy to Clean (Dont Mess With Texas) and back to Trashy. It has a lot to do with outsiders who trash the places they come from.

friendly people, beautiful nature. just be aware of the loose dogs, my dog had been attacked here, make sure to bring a stick or just an aggressive dog preventing method. Playground: decent sized playground. Toilets: restroom buildings present. Dog-friendliness: some loose dogs, be cautious and aware of your surroundings. Picnic area: bring a good blanket or tarp, theres plenty of picnic spots.

This has turned into an annual tradition for us, it is a great (and free) time everytime. I highly recommend picking carefully the times you plan on visiting or you may end up having to park deep in the neighborhood and spend a lot of time trying not to get run over. This year we went on New Years Eve, and it was empty. Best time we have had at the lights in awhile.

Playground: This is the annual visit more than once to view the Christmas lights. One of the very first days ended up having to wait an hour and a half just to get inside the gate. Very positive reaction adding new stuff also people look forward to this. And a special note here youre adding stuff for Halloween thats a big positive as well especially for the city of Odessa and the people here. Keep up the good work looking forward to next year

We went to see the Christmas lights. Even though it wasnt huge, each display got more oooohs and aaaahs than the last. There were areas set up to take pics and/or videos with the kids and the kids at heart. It was a fun time for the whole family. Clean facilities and people working during Christmas display were very friendly and helpful. Security was present during event too.
