The other day I went with some friends to have some gin tonics. Everything went well until a blonde bartender came into scene. When we ordered one more round, she poured soda instead of tonic water. When I told her that was not what I ordered, she took it and threw it away in a very impolite and rude way. I decided to tell the manager about her behavior and, to my surprise, he told me quite aggressively WE had been rude to her -according to her, that is. When I tried to explain the situation to him, he just said all of a sudden that we had to leave the bar. It is UNBELIEVABLE how absurd, impolite and rude this two bartenders-wannabes were to perfectly behaving customers. I really wish them the worst of fortunes in business.

The drinks are fairly priced and the staff is absolutely incredible, always super fast. The only issue I have is with the limitation on music played on the jukebox machine, but outside of that I enjoy this place every time I come! Never a bad time!

It feels so good walking in this bar and the thing that makes it so special to me is the bar tenders. PETE is absolutely the most upbeat fun, friendly attentive person. Steins is definitely my favorite bar in Odessa! Great place to hang out with amazing attentive servers and bartenders! (Ask for Kevin, Pete, or JP!) Pete always takes great care of us. He makes the best shots and drinks and always has new recommendations. The service is always quick, music is always on point, and karaoke on Friday and Saturday is always fun. This place NEVER disappoints.

Been coming here for 3 years and I ve got to say that they never disappoint. Love the atmosphere, people, vibes and especially the bartenders, aka Pete and JP. If you haven t been to steins then this is your sign to go and get a drink or even enjoy karaoke on a Friday or Saturday. Went out of town and had someone make me a drink and immediately wished i was at steins since i knew they make the best.

Place gets packed on the weekends, so if youre in the mood to go out, this is a good spot. Be sure to be there early cause it does get packed fairly quick. Its a good.place to chill, but not a place if youre wanting to dance. Good nonetheless

Love the selection, and for a fair price! Only place I know in town that offers absinthe, let alone using an absinthe fountain! I was unimpressed when I initially tried this place in 2015, but it is a favorite now. They also offer 3 different Pappy Van Winkle bourbon variations, as well as higher end Japanese whiskeys. If you literally want something for everyone, this is the place.

Pro: Great place and good atmosphere friendly and polite waitstaff. Cons: crowded over capacity, bartenders really need to focus on cutting people off when they had enough. Very pleasant surprise in this area. Truly a bar, well designed, definitely a place to watch sports. Very impressive stock of liquors, no so much for beer or wine i think. Well versed bartender, the only disappointment was i asked for a glass of water with my drinks, he gave me a bottle of voss and cracked it open before i could say no. I think this will be my new hang out. Totally reasonable drink prices. Cool place

I went in, got harassed by a regular for whom they just made excuses for. Oh, he s just really drunk. I told the manager if that s how you run your bar, over serving people and allowing open harassment, then you can forget about a tip. Well then he just unloaded on me, calling me a faggot, and saying I don t belong there bc I m from the northeast. This place is for losers, the end.

Two of our friends ordered margaritas that didn t taste right. We informed our waitress and she took them away and made them different drinks. When we got the bill we had been charged. The waitress said it was store policy to not refund returned drinks. We asked to speak to the manager who was too busy to talk to us for about three minutes. After those three minutes he walks over, chewing on a straw, and says, Yeah, what? I told him that we were charged for the drinks that we returned and he told us the waitress had told him our friends had full drank their beverages. When we said that wasn t the case he said, Ok whatever I ll refund it, it s only two margaritas. Our friends had paid the bill already, not thinking that the margaritas would have been on there, which we admit wasnt the best choice. However the manager starts to make a big deal out of it saying, Seriously, dude, you already paid? Why would you pay for drinks you didn t think you should pay for? Are you stupid? As he was walking away he kept muttering, Great, thanks for making my job harder. At which point I interjected, You don t need to make a big deal about this, it s just a few clicks of a button, but we re not going to pay $7 for drinks that were not what we asked for. At which point he says, Oh, I m sorry, do you want me to be like, Well hello, welcome to Steins, how can I help you? To which I said, yes, that s literally your job, to provide appropriate customer service to your customers. He then told me he didn t want to deal with me and would only talk to my friend. I told him that was fine but we wouldn t be returning. He said, I don t care. He ended up refunding the drinks, especially when we asked for his name. Anyway, the place was fine, but the manager ruined our experience. It was unnecessary and unprofessional. I know they don t care if we return or not because they ll still be making plenty of money, but it was disappointing to say the least.

The bar itself is a combination of classy and chill. And what makes the bar even more amazing is the service from this one red head guy named Dylan.
