April was so professional and personable! She was amazing at wrangling my kids and getting them to have natural smiles! With a 3 year old and a 9 year old, it wasnt easy, but the photos make it seem as though they never put up a fight. Thank you April!

April was wonderful to work with for our engagement shoot and wedding day! My partner described her as our wedding doula, with her professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, and ability to listen really making her a joy to work with. We were so grateful for Aprils calm and focused presence on our big day and have been left ony smiling after receiving her photos capturing our memories and all our loved ones! We would love to work with her again for future moments!

If you re looking for a kid-friendly family photographer, look no further! April is the bee s knees. She s done 3 sessions for us over the past 2 years, and my 4 year old adores her. All three sessions she has absolutely knocked it out of the park, both with her great attitude during sessions & with the absolutely gorgeous results we receive. She has a special talent for making sessions fun & lighthearted, which brings out those genuine smiles we love to see. I couldn t be happier with our experiences.

I can not say enough great things about April Tungate Photography! I have worked with her on many occasions. April did my family/maternity session, my sons newborn pictures and most recently my familys Christmas pictures. The images she captures are nothing shy of breathtakingly beautiful. I love the way she gets my 3 year old to smile, and not a stiff forced smile, no - she gets him to show an actual pure joy smile. She gets down on his level and is patient with him and waits for him to warm up to her. When she did my youngest sons newborn pictures. She was so gentle and loving with him. She knew she was holding my entire world in her hands and treated it as such. April also offers styling assistance for all sessions. She helps you by creating a mood board and goes over color palettes that will work best for your session. She also has a client closet that offers some great choices as well. After your session with April, she knows how excited you are to see your pictures and she is just as excited to show you them. She usually offers a sneak peek image the next day and has your entire gallery ready soon after. While I havent used it yet, April Tungate Photography does partner with a printing company that is very reasonably priced for prints and canvases. You will love working with April and after your first session you will want to do many more photoshoots with her.

We have worked with April twice so far for our family photos and we are always happy with the turn out. She is very creative with poses especially having young kids it s not easy for them to sit still but April comes up with different poses and ideas according to the kids moods in that moment which is such a huge asset to have especially if you want those great and memorable family photos. Communication and response time is excellent and she is always happy to answer any questions you have. We will definitely be working with her again. Thank you so much!

April did a great job! My son is shy around new places and people, and she let him take as much time as he needed to warm up and try and get comfortable. She interacted with him and played music to try and get him to smile. Her studio space was nice and she has a ton of supplies for props and backgrounds. Definitely would recommend her!

April was such a treat to work with. I wasnt sure what to expect when I decided to get a professional photographer for my courthouse wedding but I am so glad it was April. She was so helpful, funny, knew what to say to direct us all (family of 9 at the courthouse) and made me feel so at ease from the moment we started talking to the day of. She arrived to the courthouse early to scout it out, communicated with me, and just started going as soon as people started arriving. I will cherish my pictures forever. She was the right person to contact. Not only was she easy to work with and super helpful, she also put me in contact with a makeup artist who was also amazing and did my hair too! Just amazing. I cannot recommend her enough. I wish I had more occasions in my life to get a professional photographer so she could be there, but maybe on our anniversary or vow renewal? Who knows!

She gave great direction during the shoot, very friendly, and was very quick to give us a sneak peak of our photos, which looked amazing. I seriously cannot recommend April Tungate Photography enough. She was amazing to work with before, during, and after our photo shoot. She was fast to respond to my inquiry and to any questions I had after booking her. She has a wonderful closet full of beautiful maternity dresses, and I got to go try them on to see which gowns/dresses I wanted to wear on photo shoot day. She has been very punctual throughout this whole process, which I truly appreciate. I seriously cannot stress how kind April was throughout our whole experience. Other than school photos, I have never had professional photos taken of me, so I was a bit nervous and not sure what to expect. Not only is April the ultimate hype girl, but she was very clear with her direction for the photos, she had great attention to detail, and most importantly made me and my husband feel so comfortable. We received two sneak peek photos the morning after our photoshoot, and I am truly in awe. I cannot wait to see all the photos! Without a doubt I will be using April for all photography needs in my household.

We really enjoyed working with April for our extended family shoot. From the moment I requested a quote to when our images were delivered to us, communication was frequent and easy. She arrived on time, gave great directions and worked smoothly with us to coordinate several poses among 18 people (including a couple of uninterested tots). Everything she promised was delivered, even earlier than the original projected date! The candid photos are the best ones and we look forward to hopefully working with her again.

We have been using April as our family photographer for the past 3 years and have always had an amazing experience. She truly has a gift when it comes to photography! She does an amazing job of helping you to pick outfits out before your shoot. She does a fabulous job of posing you during the shoot, and makes it easy to not have to worry about anything during it. We have even included our puppy in a few family sessions and she was so patient with her. We have used her for family Christmas card pictures, couple pictures, pregnancy announcements, and maternity photos. We are also excited to use her in a few months for newborn pictures! She is always quick to get you your photos back and they have always turned out beautiful! I would highly recommend her services!
