The service was great! It wasnt very busy on a Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed everything we ordered, except the ribs. They were absolutely inedible, and it was obvious by just looking at them. They were dried up, hard as a rock, and covered in so much seasoning. Dont get the ribs, all their other meats were great!!

The Bourbon Maple Burnt ends are absolutely to die for! Be warned, they have a little bite to them. I cannot handle any type of spice but managed to deal with it because they were so delicious. I cant wait to go back and get more. The staff was friendly and very quick. Overall atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming.

Carry out order for 3 dinner plates last night. Was 2nd order in a row with 1 incorrect item. This order I got BBQ beans but asked for green beans. I asked cashier if she had checked it and she said Yes, I packed it myself. Previous carry-out order several wks ago I ordered smoked turkey plate but got home only to find beef brisket, not turkey (and no biscuits). Otherwise, the food tastes great. Cashiers are pleasant. We get carry-outs there at least once a month and will continue. Past orders had all been perfect. They put coupons in ad pages.

Im really torn on this review, and would be willing to change it once the issues have been addressed. The food was really good including the brisket chili. I came in yesterday on Sunday when there was not a whole lot of people in there. First, the girl in the front who was the hostess/ i swear does everything. Should be put behind the bar to make money, serving, or just an overall raise. Management i can tell is not in existence or you have a horrible manager on staff. We sat down at the bar to do a to go order but the bartender didnt know that. We sat at our bar. She completely ignored us after helping two others, not even saying something like, we will be right with you or whatever the case was. She looked at us, then walked in the back and completely disappeared. Without the front girl taking our order and helping us, we would have to just walk out because no one else helped us. As for the bartender you are supposed to help customers, if you dont like people, probably not the job for you. Some of the other reviews i have read recently are complaining about the same thing. What is really sad is that places like this have to close down when customers stop coming back, and when the food is good and the concept is good it is sad. All because you have people working there doing a lousy job. please look into this before you will be a has been and the place shuts down. We will be back to give it another chance because the food was good, but just like others im sure. You are running out of chances to keep this place open.

What a disappointment. I was not going to leave review but after thinking about it I think management and public needs to know. We walked in round 4 om on Thursday. Not 1 customer. We asked the unwilling to help lady/ server about the no customers she said they were busy earlier. We moved from table to table 3 times just to find dirty old food on each of them. We asked if she could wipe it down but would have thought i asked her to wash the floors the way she threw us with a attitude. She left and said she will be back. After finaly sitting down we found the chair sticky and the floors nasty. If this is the cleanliness in front of you I dont want to even think what goes on in the kitchen. Management is terrible, if they even have one. The food smelt good... thats the only positive.....we did not want to take a chance if getting ill with this dirty place so we left. Come on management do you have no pride... clean the place up, and start with your nasty dirty front doors

Ive always loved this place. I think theyve changed the menu/food a bit recently, though. Its still good, but not as good as it was before. Plus I noticed we dont get as much. We didnt even get one of their delicious biscuits with our meals this time. I used to crave going here, but I think it will be a while before I feel like it again. Great staff, though! We went in on Tuesday. Our turkey was so tough you could not even pull it apart. We could not eat it. We didn t even take it home for the dogs. I showed the waitress but she didn t seem to care. Didn t offer to take it off of our bill or offer anything for that matter. So we paid a $60.00 bill and left hungry. We used to go in weekly but for some reason this location has gone down hill. Every visit seems there is something wrong. Bad food, not opening on time etc.

Our server was great, very sweet and attentive. We waited over an hour for food that never came, table of 8 and apparently that was a big order . Burnt ends tasted like charcoal. We were excited to go as my father worked in Dallas in the 90 s and that was the best bbq in town back then but not anymore. Maybe it was just a bad Saturday, but the place was empty and antiquated when we walked in and should ve known then. My 2 year old loved the beans though so that s a plus. If you re in Dallas for a road trip or only a couple days, I would avoid and go somewhere else. Sad to see such an establishment go so far downhill. You ll notice every bad comment now gets hit with the generic copy and paste . Sorry you had a bad time, we ll let the manager know.. if you look back a couple a pages whoever ran it then actually gave a ****

How HOW is this the only Red Hot & Blue left here in Texas??! This place has some of the most amazing food and I just don t get why there aren t more locations. Anyway, I literally drove there to pick up some of the potato salad which is absolutely amazing. I recommend you try it when you are eating there as it is best when it is still warm. My family and I ordered take out from this establishment and were very impressed! The brisket was well seasoned and tender, the smoked sausage was peppery and robust. Our sides, including; mashed potatoes with white gravy, green beans, hush puppies, and potato salad were all executed beautifully. We ordered their sweet bbq sauce and it perfectly complemented the smoky meats. My only complaint with my order was the rolls, despite tasting wonderful, were chewy and stale tasting (this perhaps was due to the delivery time). My family and I were impressed to say the least, and will 100% be returning in the near future for more delicious BBQ.

Terrible Service this Go around My Fiancé Literally just left from Picking up our Online order. The family and I stopped in for dinner and it was quite disappointing. There seemed to be one server on a busy dinner shift. Although he was friendly he was in over his head. We got really concerned when he came by for our order after we had placed our order. The food was mediocre at best. We tried the caramelized burnt ends. The flavor was good but they definitely werent caramelized. They just had so much sauce poured over the top. It was also concerning that a BBQ restaurant didnt smell like BBQ. Makes me wonder how fresh the food really is. I dont think we will be back.

Horrible experience!! I went in last week with my family (4 of us) and I thought I was on a hidden camera show.. yeah it was that bad. They were obviously understaffed, we waited about 5 minutes to be seated then the guy showed us to our table. He took our drink order and we ordered an appetizer, that part was no problem. We then ordered our food, nothing complicated at all but after he took our order he came back about 20 minutes later and said he wanted to go over the order and started running off a order of completely different food. So he took our order again then left. He was sweating sooo bad we joked he was tweaking or something was going on with him. So, another 15 minutes pass and the lady, the only other employee we saw, came to our table and asked if we could repeat the order, I did. Unbelievable. After a while our food finally comes out and my daughters kid s meal was missing! I told the lady and she stated well it comes with 2 corn dogs and that s too much for her anyways! So she went back behind the bar and I fed my daughter French fries. We sat there and watched repair guys walk in straight to the kitchen, I think they were plumbers or something. We waited for my to go order I originally placed for my husband, a hamburger I was taking to him at work, we got it then after waiting for which seemed eternity got the bill, paid and left! I dropped my husband s burger off and he immediately called me and asked if I told them well done, which I did..his burger was raw and he couldn t even eat! I m so disappointed in our experience!

Everything was overcooked, cold or just missing. We ordered a caeser salad with chicken and it came out without any meat so we had to send it back and wait quite a while for the chicken, but it was decent when it finally came. Our pulled pork nachos were hard as a rock with stringy dry pulled pork. And our meat plate was completely forgotten about. After finishing everything else and waiting, we were asked it we wanted the check and my husband brought it up. suddenly the waitress went back and brought it right out, made fresh. The brisket was dry, the bbq sauce that came with our to go order wasnt good. The Mac n cheese was good and the potato salad was okay but not a traditional potato salad. Reminded me more of mashed potatoes than potato salad. The bread that came with the plate was hard and crunchy. Also, we ordered curbside. Checked in thru the email like we were supposed to. Waited 10 minutes and no one came out. Went in to get our food and the staff was standing around not working and ignored/chose not to bring our order out to us. We will not be back, way better places to choose from.

I enjoyed the food my favorite items were the potato salad and burnt ends. The brisket had a lot of fat and very little lean meat but it was so tender and the mac n cheese did not have a lot of flavor. The fried okra was good but it was a tiny portion and the sausage was dry and did not taste very fresh.

James is an amazing server. The place was packed and he was killing it. However the manager shawnett was awful she was huffing and puffing all over and complained about having to help James out. I cant say enough about how great he was calm cool and didnt skip a beat with anything. If I could I would steal him away.

I googled a bbcue place that I could try that was close to the church I play at and this place was the closet so I decided to go get lunch and dinner, horrible mistake, whenever the restaurant next door has a line, thats a sign to keep going or go get in that line, cause they doing something right, I ordered a beef brisket sandwich which was bland and dry I had to drown it in bbcue sauce, also ordered okra which I threw away becauseof the horrible taste,dry rub ribs, greens,and hush puppies, everything had a horrible after taste, the seasoning thats used is not a good match for the food, I had to use mouthwash to get rid of the horrible after taste, tge corn bread was the best thing i had, I will never be back here

We ordered to go & they were closing in 5 min. You would never have know because the gentleman taking our order was so kind & considerate. We even had a coupon (no problem). We ordered 2 plates. Smoked turkey, green beans, mashed red potatoes with gravy & pulled chicken, baked beans & coleslaw. Absolutely delicious!!!! The biscuits are a cross between a biscuit & cornbread. I highly recommend eating there.

Been going to the H/WY 26 location since the first week they opened. My wife and I love the Elvis and Stevie Ray Vaughan memorabilia that is all around the restaurant. To go orders are ready when they say they will be and inside dining is a pleasure with good food, great service with a nice atmosphere. Nothing has ever stopped us from going to R. H. B. Very reasonable prices also. Parking: Plenty of spaces. Maybe a couple more of handicap spaces Wheelchair accessibility: It s pretty easy to get in with a scooter or large size walker.

I was doubtful about the speed of the takeout service but the family vote was for BBQ. I ordered online, walked in to the pick up point and had my order within 2 minutes. Family was happy. Family was fed. I didnt have to cook or clean up after a hectic Sunday. Win-win.

The Texas temperature was 107 and I did not want to heat up the kitchen so I asked my husband to stop at Red, Hot & Blue on the way home. A quart of their fresh coleslaw, unique potato salad, and peach cobbler for dessert. Added to cold catfish (leftovers from the night before) and it was the perfect dinner with our the heat. Vegetarian options: Their coleslaw is perfect. Very fresh. They add green bell pepper and a great dressing. The potato salad uses red-skin potatoes and a unique seasoning which reminds me of family reunions and picnics in spring.

We received good service and loved the large pitcher drinks are served in and the French Fries. The food was not fresh, the brisket and chicken were so dry, even the sauce. Green beans tasted like they were poured out of a can and heated up. The restaurant was dated and everything looks and feels old. This was my first visit in 10 years and I was shocked at how times changed and this place has not. BBQ standards have gone up in the DFW Metroplex and you must evolve to meet the new challenges or get left behind as a relic of the past. I have eaten at too many places to count but this was the most subpar experience I can remember in a long time.

Not good. They appear to be struggling. We had pork, ribs, brisket, chicken, potato, green beans and french fries. Only the french fries were good. Big o pitcher of water was good to choke down the dry BBQ. Server was nice. We wont be back.
