Came in to pick up an online order. Was chased out and accused of stealing my order. I will never spend a single penny here. Very disrespectful and disappointing (update to reply to owner) I did everything but doxx the customer and reveal their private information. Which aside from being against the DoorDash rules and policies is a violation of federal law. Demanding illegal access to customer information is not something I would brag about

Been here many times. They have some of the best brisket in DFW. Love this place. Decided to try The Duke burger. Breathtaking, absolutely amazing. Melts in your mouth, literally. Ive had the sausage, pulled pork, ribs, & turkey; cant go wrong with any of them. They have really good sides too. The burnt ends beans & corn are awesome. I recommend this place to everyone when I get asked about BBQ.

Great atmosphere. We got the meatsweats platter that had a little of everything. Our favorite meats were the brisket, ribs and smoked turkey. The chicken was dry and everything else was okay. What really made the meal feel complete were the sides. Beans were good and we loved the bits of rosemary in the Mac n cheese!

The Pig! Hard 8 and Hutchins should be concerned. The Patriotic Pig is putting out a better product for a better price. From the traditional smoke meat platters to the quick and easy bowls. Anytime in in the area the Pig is a must stop. The Patriotic Pig provides food and an atmosphere worthy of being called Texas BBQ.

Best BBQ weve had in Texas! I know those are fighting words, but Im standing by them. Those burnt end beans are to DIE for, and every selection of meat weve had so far has been splendid. You really cant go wrong! I lean towards the ribs and pepper sausage, but that pulled pork is crazy too. Throw some of their cole slaw on there and (chefs kiss)! We had them cater our annual Halloween party last year and our friends are still talking about it. Whenever we have to go somewhere else (for meet ups, etc), they are now the standard we compare others to, and the others always fall short. No other BBQ place will do.

I ordered my food of lean brisket, Mac & cheese & devil egg potato salad all recommended by the Gen Mgr, Eric. I was floored how all the food was absolutely out of this world!! My friends ordered the ribs, 2nd place award for their delicious hamburger & best turkey sandwich. We all had smiles on our faces and we enjoyed our meals and were coming back. One of my friends is a picky Mac & cheese guy. Best ever he said Ive ever tasted, the Gen Mgr and owner are very hospitable, friendly, great atmosphere. U have to treat yourself like a king or queen to some of the best tasting food. Enjoy!! Ken Thanks Eric.

I love this place! Theyre so good that anytime I get barbeque elsewhere Im just disappointed because I feel like I wasted my money. And not to ruin their brisket business, but if your pockets are running low, try the pulled pork because Ab just as good as their brisket and half the price. I call it the poor womans brisket, and the Patriotic Pig is the only place you can get it because it doesnt taste like brisket anywhere else. Patriotic Pig has the very best barbeque around. If you go anywhere else youre wasting your money.

1st time customer the other week and man did they blow it out the water!! All week long Ive been raving about them to whoever will listen. I love barbecue and can honestly say between the friendly service, cleanliness, pricing, and quality/quantity of food youre getting, theyre easily among the top rankings of barbecue in the area. We basically ordered almost the entire menu, sharing food amongst friends and I cant seem to think of a single bad thing to mention about any of the food we tried. I love the fact that it is served in containers to go. I highly recommend the burnt ends, the brisket mac and cheese, and without a doubt their burger. All their food was amazing! Were gonna have to go back to try the desserts next time as we were too stuffed to partake. 12/10 highly recommend

My family tried out this place for the first time this past weekend. We tried the brisket, jalapeno and cheddar sausage, black pepper sausage, mac and cheese, the burnt end beans, green beans, and fries. All were excellent! The spicy sauce was our tables favorite, but the regular sauce was also very good. The brisket was moist and was the perfect balance between enough fat for flavor with plenty of leaner meat. Both varieties of sausage were juicy and delicious. All sides were great and wed order them all again with the possible exception of the burnt end beans. The booths were comfortable, the country music playing was great, and service was rendered with a smile.

Not a complaining kind at all but here I am . We went up there tonight and ordered food for 3 people including sides and desserts. I specifically ordered a side of sweet potato fries and specifically ordered 3 desserts and had confirmation on both orders. Like an idiot, I didn t closely monitor what she was ringing up and didn t get a receipt. Once I got home I realized that the sweet potato fries and 3 desserts weren t in the bag. I called twice before I got an answer and was told that no worries, you weren t charged for those completely missing the point that the order was wrong. She said I can put those in for you like we want to drive 20 minutes back up there while the food we had at home gets cold. The thing that irritated me the most is when you tip at the register at these places it is often before you get your food (assuming what you order is in the bag) and eat it. I think that when you order from a meat-cutter, sides person and the cashier it gets all jumbled up by the time the person packing the bag gets the order out. For all I know the sweet potato fries were still cooking when the cashier neglected to ring those and the desserts. This place is usually our go-to place but they missed an opportunity tonight. Again, I never complain publicly like this but here I am

We decided we wanted BBQ served at our reception dinner following our wedding and we are so happy we went with Patriotic Pig. They served brisket, sausage, and smoked chicken breast with mac&cheese, burnt-end beans, bacon green beans, bacon ranch potato salad, and coleslaw. All the food was delicious and all the guests were raving about the food. We also had appetizers served during cocktail hour. They served street tacos, brisket and pulled pork sliders, and Texas tater skins, all were a big hit with us and our guests! It was the perfect amount of food to keep our guests happy until dinner was served. We also opted for a dessert bar that featured Uncle Willies pies which were absolutely delicious. My husband and I had a sampling of the pies for breakfast the day after our wedding and they were absolutely delicious!

The bad.The potato salad was very bland.I mean no seasonings at all.I won t be getting that again. The cowboy beans had the same issue and had more meat in them than beans.IT WAS A VERY BIG NO FOR ME.Corn bread was very dry but was edible. Overall they are ok,but they are far from competing with local bbq restaurants.

Definitely not the cheapest in town but since when do you get really good food for cheap? What I get here is worth every penny which is the brisket grilled cheese. Its priced right and I think you actually get more brisket on the sandwich than you do a brisket plate that is more expensive. On their brisket they actually keep the bark on which is my favorite part. It has all the flavor! A lot of places take it off and its just bland. Theres a lot of BBQ places that come and go but I think this one is here to stay.

Yet again gave them another try w delivery and they still can t get orders right. Food is good but not worth the hassle and when you order 120 dollars worth of food would be nice if they give you everything or contact unit out. Very poor customer service 10-28-23: tried them again and they decided to cancel my whole order through door dash because they were out of an item. Worst customer service ever so they just lost out on a 100 dollar order because they couldn t be bothered to pick up a phone. Claimed they couldn t call which I believe is an out right lie!!!! I have had stores call me all the time if they are out of something offering a sub and they could have contacted door dash to contact me. Just plain lazy and feel like delivery customers are not as important!! Then had the audacity to state they could take my order over the phone!! No way not giving you my money after that fiasco.. be warned stay away from them!!! Ordered a couple times from here through grub hub and thought I found a new place. but most recent experience they screwed up. Ordered over 100 in food and they messed the order up. The most irritating is they left the bbq sauce out what is bbq w out sauce. Called them to find out what happen and forced to leave a msg yet NO ONE bothers to return the call what wonderful customer service. Well they just lost a customer and clearly they probably don t really care. But I spend a minimum of 50 each time I have ordered no more though. I get it was a small issue in the grand scheme of things but the fact they won t call you back speaks volumes that they don t care about their customers

Jan 2024: Not beingi n this area frequently it was a chance visit to a new spot that paid off very well. The food was served well on tray style platters, as BBQ often is locally. Portion sizes were good and served by weight. They dont skimp on that either. The staff is friendly and helpful and quick. Prices are reasonable for the current economy but expect $25 / person. Everything was very tasty. 4 different meats, 4 different veg, 2 desserts, rolls, cornbread not a miss in the mix. TX flag table just sealed the deal! Definitely worth weekly visits, or whenever you want better than chain BBQ.

Id rather eat at Dickies. This barbeque is terrible, especially considering the caliber of BBQ we have in the DFW area. I had brisket and the jalapeno cheddar sausage. The brisket flat was overcooked, crumbly, and grainy. They didnt trim the fat cap thin enough so even though the meat was overcooked, the fat was still white and unrendered. Brisket was bland and underseasoned which applied to almost everything. Coleslaw was bland. Potato salad was bland. Burnt end beans were cloyingly sweet and looked like canned pork and beans that they doctored. The jalapeno cheddar sausage only tasted like cheese and it tasted like American, not cheddar. The turkey and avocado club sandwich was also mediocre. The only things we liked were the bacon green beans and the decent cornbread. Definitely dont waste your money here.

Patriotic Pig is part of my Mount Rushmore of DFW BBQ. If you aren t familiar with the term I ll say it s one of my all time favorites! We went to the restaurant multiple times and had them cater our wedding! When we booked for the wedding Gina offered for us to come in and try everything which we did since we wanted to try the things we don t usually get. I m glad we did because I never used to like sausage but after having theirs it s the only place I want it from! She was incredible going over everything and their service the day of the wedding was flawless and everybody raved about it! I bring coworkers down from Gainesville to go here, it s that good!

We ordered the family meal and got mash potatoes, briskets, cheese sausage, pulled pork, Mexican corn, Mac n cheese fries, corn bread n rolls. I thought everything was excellent except the mash potatoes was a bit dry, but still flavorful. My favorite was the Mexican corn and cheese sausage. I would come back. Parking: There are pot holes and parking will be narrow. Kid-friendliness: Rated G atmosphere

Having had a good experience at a wedding catered by the patriotic pig, we decided to check out the restaurant. The food was expensive and not very good overall. The brisket and fried okra were pretty good but the other sides, mashed potatoes, green beans and Mac a cheese were cold and dried out. The green beans were especially gross. They were shriveled up and old. The peppered sausage was dry and old. These problems should have been visibly apparent to the staff. While I would prefer to patronize a local business, I know places such as Spring Creek has much higher quality food consistently for about 3 or 4 dollars a plate cheeper. This was not a good experience.

3/3 times I ve ordered curbside my order has been completely wrong. This time I had a pickup time for 5:30 and we didn t leave until 5:42 because they had to completely remake the order. I got the new turkey sandwich and they gave me some weird thing with ONLY jalapeños and turkey. My son s fries were cold as well. It also took 3 call attempts to tell them I was there for curbside. They kept picking up the phone and ending it immediately.

Great little spot. Way more affordable than some of the other BBQ places and the food was really good. Service was very friendly and atmosphere is fun. The kid dancing on the menu screen had me cracking up. I would come here vs Hard 8 or Terry Blacks for the sole reason that you get waaaay more bang for your buck and the food is still very good. I do wish some of the sides had been a bit hotter, but if you show up when things are fresh, theres no reason this place would take 2nd fiddle next to one of those other BBQ spots.

We used Patriotic Pig as the caterer for our wedding on 11/4/2023. Our venue recommended them and after trying their food, we were sold! Food was important for us for our wedding, and we got so many compliments from our guests! They were very affordable, especially considering theyre a BBQ joint. Gina was easy to work with and ensured we had everything we wanted to make our day special. Their wedding day setup is a great rustic-vibe that they provide along with setup/break down. Would highly recommend them as a caterer!!

Barbecue is not a typical go-to for me, but after trying their tasting menu my mom and I both agreed Patriotic Pig was an excellent option. Every dealing with Patriotic Pig was professional and seamless. They even packed my husband and me a to-go box for after the wedding. In the weeks following our wedding, we received many compliments on the food. We froze the leftover, and even reheated they have been great!

Came in tonight just to get sides to go. This seemed like the biggest task ever for the girl behind the counter. 3 sides took FOREVER, not only to get the order but to get it RIGHT. It s sides! Then the girl at the register was snotty and lacking social skills. The first time I came here was when they first opened and didn t plan on returning, but after such a long time and ONLY coming for sides, I gave it another shot. That s it though. It s overpriced for what you get, plus servers are scatter brained and have attitudes. Better BBQ for better prices close by. I do not recommend-

Tried this place for the first time on Saturday. Tried the 2 meat plate plate with brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage plus deviled egg potatoes salad and bacon green beans. Bisket was a little on the dry side. Sausage was good. Potatoes salad and green beans were quite good. The sides were better than the meat in my opinion. They $5 premium charge to get brisket was a little steep given the quality. This is a good mom n pop bbq place to try over the chains in the area.
