We had the absolute best experience in an open adoption of our daughter through Legacy! They were there to answer every question we had promptly and compassionately. Every interaction with the staff felt like talking to a friend. Everyone is exceptionally knowledgeable, and you can tell that they truly care about everyone involved in the adoption process - birth parents, Adoptive parents, and of course the children! Although the application to work with any agency can be daunting, their portal streamlined the process to make this modern adoption a success we were chosen by the first birth mother we matched with, and welcomed our daughter 2 short months after the match! We recommend Legacy to ANYONE we speak with about adoption!

Legacy was referred to us by multiple friends in Austin, TX who had nothing but positive things to say about their experiences. When starting the adoption process, there can be an overwhelming feeling given all the paperwork and process; however, Legacy outlines all the requirements and walks you through each step of the way, easing any logistical concerns. One of our first questions was how long will this take? And Legacy s answer was basically as fast as you want it to . We found that to be true. Once our home study was complete, Legacy moved quickly to get us approved and in the system. We were signed on with them for 4 days when we matched. We had only a 12 hour window from when we presented to when we matched, and 6 hours later, our baby was born. Legacy was a gift from God from start to finish. From our initial consultation with Todd & Tina was educational, informative but also we felt seen as individuals. They didnt pressure us to join their agency or rush our timeline. In fact, we didnt end up signing on with them until about 5-6 months later. After we signed with them, we were matched very quickly. Our counselor at the hospital was AMAZING, our counselor for post-adoption care was incredible, and everyone was so supportive and held both the adoptive family & the birth family with care and intention. We will use Legacy again when we are ready to adopt again!

We found Legacy Adoption through a friend of a friend once we had decided to start our journey of domestic adoption. They have been a gift throughout our entire journey towards our daughter. Jordan, our social worker, was our steady through the many different emotions that adoption can bring. Aimee, was always there to answer our questions and concerns. We found Legacy a few years into our adoption journey and we are so so grateful. Friends of ours referred us after having adopted 2 children with Legacy! Coming from a consultant agency, we were discouraged and had seen some unethical things that made us question if adoption was still the right path for us. Immediately upon working with Legacy, you can feel the difference. Legacy is committed to caring for women considering adoption. They work with expectant moms for quite a while, sharing all of their options, and providing resources to them before they choose the decision of adoption. Post adoption, they offer counseling and encourage communication through pictures, visits, letters (when those options are chosen by birth mom.) From the perspective adoptive parent side, we loved how thorough Legacy was in the info they provided us. We matched fairly quickly because they consider birth mom s wishes for an adoptive family and choose to present her with family profile books of multiple families that align with her wishes. You can tell that Legacy values the women they work with and truly cares for the families that are hopeful to adopt. Working with Jordan, Aimee, and Abby at Legacy was a reassuring, calm experience that is forever imprinted on us. We are so honored our daughter s first mom chose us and so grateful that she trusted Legacy with her adoption plan. We loved our Legacy experience and hope to adopt again in the near future!

I am a birth mom and I will forever be grateful and recommend Legacy.I genuinely feel like they always have mine and my child s best interest at heart.They always have open communication with me and my child s adoptive parents.I have a full open adoption and they are so active in scheduling meetings every 6 months, making sure Im receiving my updates ,letters. My case worker Abby is phenomenal.She is professional while also being personal and supportive. Simply put, Legacy does adoption the right way! From the moment we met the founders, Todd and Tina, we were certain that God led us to this agency to build our family. Every staff member we interacted with throughout the process was very knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions we had. During the wait in the hospital, we felt very at peace because our counselor Danielle, Todd and Tina were walking right alongside us and our birth mom s family. We initially started our adoption journey in 2020 with another agency. After a year, we decided to partner with a consultant who lead us to Legacy. What an answered prayer that was! From the very first call with Todd and Tina to the day we met our daughter with Danielle at our side this agency held our hand every step of the way. Jordan was there during all the in between and couldn t have been more helpful answering every question we had and being so supportive during such an emotional time. We could not be more thankful for our experience with Legacy! After starting out with an adoption consultant in 2021, we decided to solely commit to Legacy while pursuing an infant adoption. The amount of communication, care and kindness we were shown is unmatched. From the beginning, we were so impressed with the open communication Legacy provided to us as hopeful adoptive parents, and they made that process absolutely seamless. Aimee was incredibly helpful at helping us get our profile ready to be a waiting family! Once we were considered active, we matched with a baby this past summer. This was the point that we were absolutely blown away by the care given by the Legacy team. Jordan was an excellent communicator at our match, and guided us all the way until meeting our options counselor, Abigail. While in the hospital, Abigail was with us every step of the way with information and guidance as we waited to be released to take baby home. Todd and Tina were in communication with us as well, and made sure that every little detail was covered. We felt absolutely covered in support by the Legacy team! Adoption is an emotional journey, and there is no way anyone can prepare you for all the ups and downs and twists and turns that come along the way during an adoption journey. I have talked with many friends who have walked through the adoption process and have heard all kinds of horror stories or things that went wrong. However, I could not speak more highly of Legacy! From the moment we decided we were going to adopt, we knew this was going to be a journey. There was no idea of how long or difficult or what agency we were even going to go with. We simply just started doing research and found legacy through a friend of ours. We had all of these questions and concerns on how to choose the right agency that loved Jesus, protected these children, and cared for the birth mother in the long haul. Legacy checked all of those boxes in their very intentional and transparent approach to our conversation. After we hung up, we felt like it was a no brainer. It wasn t an agency that pressured you or wanted you to submit an application on the spot for money, but instead encouraged us to take some time to pray over it. Once we started the process, they worked as fast or as slow as we worked and allowed for questions along the way. Every single person on their team was absolutely fantastic for my wife and I and felt like they all felt our joy and heartbreak alongside with us. Legacy will always be apart of our lives and our story of how we brought our daughter home. Regardless of agency, there are some tough No s and disappointment, but it all crumbles in comparison to that one single Yes that we were desperate for. This is a very short review on something I could right about for days, but we are forever grateful to a legacy and everything they stand for.

We had a wonderful experience adopting our baby girl through Legacy! Our entire process, from our home study to our adoption finalization ceremony, went incredibly smoothly. The adoptions counselors are also incredibly professional. They made our homestudy and home visits so enjoyable. Every single detail is thought of and planned for when you adopt through Legacy. During the days after we took placement of our baby they made sure all our questions were answered and all our paperwork was in place for us to travel home. I would highly recommend Legacy.

Looking to place your baby for adoption?? This is definitely the place to go!! As a young teenage mother I knew I wasnt prepared to give my baby everything I wanted her to have, so Im very glad I found Legacy. Everyone is super understanding, supportive, and never judges you or your decisions. They always make sure to put you first, and have no problem being the bad guy for you ;) my counselor was extremely supportive of me and has become more of a friend than anything, she has been more than helpful. Legacy really does care about you and your baby!! I highly recommend Legacy if youre thinking about placing :)

We are so grateful to have found Legacy Adoptions! We were in the international adoption world for 3 years with many ups and downs. We were told about Legacy through a friend who had adopted through them. We were nervous coming into the domestic adoption world but Legacy made us feel at ease. They answered all of our questions and concerns. In less then 6 months they helped us complete our family when our precious daughter was born. They walked every step of the way with us from filling out paper work to making our profile book to our matching meeting and ultimately the birth of our daughter. What was once a journey of prayer, defeat, hope, and raw emotion came to an end when we found Legacy Adoptions in Hurst, TX. From the beginning, Tina Dean (Legacy Adoption LCSW) put our hearts at ease.
