Love the merchandise hate the store and lack of management. I bought a grill and the one I wanted was locked to all the other grills out front. But no one knew how to help me so I walked in and wheeled the floor model to the register and bought it assembled! It cooks so well

Went to go exchange 2 shirts and waited by the customer service dear not knowing they make you wait in line just to return 2 items. Manager was no help .. I won t be spending my time here anymore ! 14 mins for waiting just to take 1 min out of there time! Humble here I come!!!!

Went to Academy to find cleats for Bella to play softball .The shoe dept. was a bit of a mess as it was late in the day on a Saturday.The two women we encountered in the shoe department were great! They helped us find the cleats and try them on Bella for a great fit.They were very sweet girls great attitudes ,lots of patience one of the sales girls was very pregnant and very kind and helpful as well and that says alot when ur so far along in your pregnancy.!

I only gave them a 2 because the staff is friendly and helpful. If not for that even a 1 is two high. Shelves are not stocked very well. Things that their app shows in stock is not. I went to 5 different scanning machine to check a price and none of them worked. Last time I was there I was given a 10% veterans discount which the lay verified by checking my ID which is good but was told in the future it would be in the computer. Apparently Academy decided not to offer that anymore. Academy used to be a really good store but has went way down now.

All was good until I checked out I went to walk out of the door and realized my husbands wedding gift (standley cup). Still Had the security tag attached before I turned around to ask the lady to remove it. A guy named Steve snatched it and asked if I paid for it (after watching me pay for it). UPDATE: Steve is not the man s name he lied he is an order white man chubby and bald.

Needed to find a non-lethal weapon to use to deter the raccoons and possums from tearing apart my trash on my back porch. The guy behind the counter in guns Department advised me that I could use a low-pressure BB gun to scare them off. I bought one and it has been effective. At least while Im home. Lol.

Don t buy any Magellan Ice Box coolers. They won t even last 2 months the lids warping and make it impossible to latch shut. Manager was a complete jerk and offered no solution even after being made aware of the problems. This is why people should not purchase from stand alone stores and should purchase from online amazon. By far better customer service with digital receipts that can never be lost or faded to give stores the opportunity to not stand by their product. This product offered a useless 1 year warranty.

I came here to buy my son all new baseball attire and etc for the season. They had everything we had needed and of good quality. They didnt have any buggies available but when I asked the older gentleman about it upon walking in, he stated it was super busy and he hadnt had the time to go outside and gather them. I honestly thought he was just a door greeter and there shouldve been a younger employee to go get them but we ran to the restroom and that man had us a buggy waiting like a sweetheart.
