This location is close to us, so we ve ordered take out a few times. The order we receive is always incorrect!! Tonight was the last time. We ordered a simple dinner of soup and salad for my husband and I. Two Caesar salads and one tomato basil soup for him and one French onion soup for me. My husband did check the order at the store. He did not realize the cheese and croutons for the French onion soup would be on the side, so didn t know to look for it. Once the food was home, we realized the issue. Basically I had a container of onion soup. I called and spoke to someone at the restaurant, who didn t understand the problem, didn t seem to care, and offered no solution beyond his utter silence on the end of the line. We will not order from here again. My husband also informed me, if we had wanted extra Caesar salad dressing, it would have been an additional charge . For a thimble of dressing! Perhaps if La Madeleine had more respect for their customers and their dining experiences, they wouldn t have to resort to such petty charges to shore up the bottom line.

While we are new to the area, we re not new to La Madeleine. We wanted a lightish but filling meal and were craving their soup. The location was easy to locate using local map apps, but when we pulled up, we were definitely a bit surprised. We are used to the quaintly log fired themed French bistro feel, and this location is in a nondescript store front that made it feel like fast food rather than the casual dining experience we are accustomed to. Despite the lackluster décor, the service was phenomenal! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and our food was prepared quickly. I ordered the café sampler with the quiche lorraine, mushroom soup, and strawberry bacon spinach salad. My order was prepared in the main line, with the salad being freshly made, the soup was hot, however, the quiche was a bit cool as it had been under a heat lamp. My salad was also missing the feta cheese, but was still tasty. My husband ordered the chicken la Madeleine which was served with balsamic-marinated chicken topped with creamy wild mushroom sauce, rice, and broccoli. He enjoyed it, but mentioned a couple of time how much smaller the portion was than normal just a couple of bites of chicken with mainly sides. He also had a cup of the tomato bisque which was delicious, as always. Last, we shared the strawberry Nutella crepe. This was the first time we have had this. I absolutely love crepes as my dad used to make them for me as a kid. This one was disappointing, just tasted off and the fillings/toppings were far from evenly distributed across bites even with my best efforts. Nonetheless, we ll still be back to this location for the service and the food that did come out as expected. Not too crowded, lots of parking.

At this particular location, you order your food, its put on a tray. Your main entree is delivered to the table. You have to get your own drinks, and condiments yourself. Food was barely ok. Will not return ever.

1st time ever trying this restaurant so I didnt know what to expect. From the start, the service was fantastic! Workers explained the process of how I ordered and recommended a few items, which I appreciated. I tried the turkey sandwich toasted with provolone cheese and a side salad. Super fresh, simple, and filling! I tried one of their cookies with jelly in the middle for dessert, and you could taste the fresh ingredients! Overall, it is such a cute spot, giving French atmosphere vibes. I will be back to try more items. 10/10 recommend!

First time I went to this place. Terrible attention. The woman at the checkout who received my order told me absolutely nothing. Another worker had to come and explain to me that she had to pick up my order at the cashier, and he practically did the cashiers job. I gave them tip.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and the friendly service. When I walked in, I saw the menus right by the door, but I wasnt sure if I could pick where to sit or if someone would seat me. After figuring it out, I liked that they had both regular tables and booths against the wall. You have to wait in line, grab a tray, and order your food. Depending on what you order, they either give it to you right there or give you a number to take to your table. One thing I really liked was how they served the mimosa. Instead of just giving me a pre-made drink, they gave me a glass, a little bottle of champagne, and a small jar of orange juice so I could mix it myself. It felt special. The menu had a lot of choices, and We ended up getting pasta and crepes for lunch. Both were really tasty, and the portion sizes were just right. I also liked that they had a coffee station where you could help yourself, and they even had free bread with different jams for everyone.

The kind of French bakes you get from a Japanese vending machine. I was sitting down, and my food arrived cold after ten minutes. Very rude and inexperienced staff, in the cafe. If you order delivery from this location. You wont receive your whole meal intact.

Very disappointed. I have been looking forward to trying this place for months. Finally stopped in today. We ordered the corn chowder. It was underwhelming and served scalding hot. We also ordered the cranberry turkey croque. It was dry and also served overly warm too. The side dish was a pasta salad that we barely touched. The only thing we liked was the chocolate croissant. Underwhelming and will not be returning. Super disappointed.

Ordered the breakfast Croissant Sandwich. For a French bakery/restaurant you would expect a flaky Croissant not a soft non flavored one. Reminded us of the Burger King Croissant Sandwich. Definitely NOT worth 10.00 Besides being non flaky & way too soft the sausage had zero flavor. Very disappointed in this location. The La Madeleine in the woodland last is much better . Upon entering the Cafe there are no instructions on how or where to order. If you eat in you have to approach the cafeteria style line. This part was a bit confusing. After you order its easy. Self serve drinks, but the food is delivered to your table. Food was good. Wonderful flavors and no shortage of meat in the croissants! Dining room is clean and well maintained.

I got the quiche Lorraine and it was extremely bland, seemingly had no seasoning at all. Ive eaten it at the one in the woodlands and Willowbrook many times and it was phenomenal. A busy French cafe/cafeteria. On the noisy side, but ok. Ive been to their restaurants in various cities over the years. The new Crepe La Madeleine professes to have chicken in it. The reality is tiny amounts of chicken and lots of mushrooms, broccoli and tomatoes. And the little chicken bits were hardly noticeable. The crepe was tasty but I wouldnt order it again.

Customer service is amazing! We did a takeout order tonight and when we got home realized our dessert was missing. We called, and the woman who answered was so nice and so concerned. We went back to grab the piece of cake and again the staff was so apologetic. Not only did they give us an additional free dessert right there on the spot but also gave us 2 free entree vouchers to use on a future night. It was unnecessary but so appreciated. In todays world it seems customer service is really struggling, but the staff at La Madeleine went above and beyond. As far as food goes, their desserts were absolutely divine. We also loved the sandwiches we tried. Highly recommend you give this place a shot!

The place itself is very pretty and inviting, as well as the employees. Very accommodating and friendly. The complaint is towards the food. We had the la chicken madeleine. The food was warm at the top and room temperature at the bottom. Broccoli was dry as crunchy. Taste and texture was more of fake food, perhaps frozen plates warmed up. There was a hair in the broccoli, and they were quick to take of the refund with no issue. Maybe stick to the soup and salad options. Edit: Additional Review We also ordered cappuccinos and croissants to go. Cappuccinos were extremely weak, more like hot water. The croissants were dry. We had asked the cashier/waitress (staff) about the food being frozen or fake , she replied, do you really want to know? That question response was sufficient And she only orders food from the bakery menu Enough said.

The first time I went the store was empty and there were about 10 employees, they made me wait to give me a 4 cheese sandwich for at least 20 minutes, the presentation of the sandwich was terrible, one wheel of bread was smaller than the other and they put the wheels of bread together On the contrary, they didnt even cut to give it a good presentation. The fruit salad had old and spoiled fruits, I ordered a muffin with custard and blueberries, it was old and hard. The second time I was in the store, the same, empty, there were many employees, they passed me by and no one asked me if I needed anything, no one came to help me, the customer service is the worst I have seen in a store. La Madeleine, a shame because I have been to others and the service and food have been great.

We were really looking forward to this location opening because it s very close to our house. The disappointment came when we realized it was kind of set up like a fast food type of establishment .there were no warm or cozy cottage feels with the fireplace like the La Madeline that we are used to. It was a very cold and a fast pass through experience that left us disappointed and feeling in a hurry to finish our food and leave. They were all shouting stuff in French at the same time to try to increase morale which made it even more fast foody feel My understanding is La Madeline should be warm, inviting you to a laid back experience where you wanna have coffee and pastries and conversation and take it easy like the Europeans . Nope it was very Conroe small town.. never traveled outside of Texas type of feel Super Bummed!!! And guy who was playing a mime was talking to everyone . It was just a confusing experience overall.
