Fantastic experience. First time at Lupe for us. Beautiful atmosphere with that touch of Old Mexico. The staff were very attentive with drinks/refills and anything else we needed. I ordered the Tex-Mex and got my moneys worth. 3 huge delicious enchiladas that were phenomenal, not to mention the rice and beans that come with it. I will definitely return for Tortilla Soup as the weather cools down. The table next to us had the soup and it looked exquisite.

The food was really good. Just a little too much hollandaise sauce for my liking. When I asked them for a really spicy hot sauce, they offered me their bottled hot sauce. I thought it was a Mexican restaurant, but they made it right by whipping up some fresh hot sauce like Abuela used to make. We will def be back. Thank you, Sean, for the excellent service!

First time trying this place. We had a great waitress who came quickly. We were given 2 fajitas mini tacos by the manager because this was our first time. We shared fajitas. Chicken was good, but the beef was amazing! For real, yall! Best beef fajitas I have had in years! With really good fresh tortilla and all the sides. We had the house Margherita, it was excellent. The manager came by twice, and Elizabeth crushed it as our waitress! We will be back for sure!

Absolutely incredible experience at Lupe Tortilla! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and welcoming atmosphere, and it only got better from there. Our waiter, Daniel, was nothing short of outstanding his energy, attitude, and attention to detail really made our evening special. Lets talk food! The queso was bursting with flavor, setting the tone for an unforgettable meal. Daniel also made the most perfect tableside guacamole; it was fresh, creamy, and seasoned to perfection. I had the Chong one crispy chicken taco with two chicken enchiladas smothered in tomatillo sauce, and every bite was pure bliss. My hubby couldn t stop raving about his chicken quesadillas they were packed with flavor and grilled to perfection. Our friends were equally thrilled with their choices. The fish tacos were generously stuffed with lots of fish, and our other friend s ground beef tacos were loaded with goodness absolutely satisfying! The cherry on top? Plenty of parking and the place was immaculately clean. Lupe Tortilla, you ve got lifelong fans in us! Can t wait to come back!

My wife and I are locals and we often frequent Lupe Tortillas because we really love their food and drinks. Miguel usually is our server and he does a great job and has a wonderful personality! We would also like to recognize Hanna in reception she is very nice and friendly and she always does a great job at getting you seated even when it is very busy! Thanks and keep up the great work! Also my wife loves the Rojo Sangrias! We found it necessary to do an edit to this review because we would also like to recognize David one of your floor managers he always greets us and comes by our table to make sure everything is to our liking. He is a great asset for your company! He is very polite and courteous.

To begin with, the window ledge had 1/2 a dozen dead flies. We had to ask the waitress to have it cleaned. She said the manager would be out to clean it up. 10 minutes later, waitress said she would have to clean it up. Being Fathers Day, we expected to wait awhile for food. When we finally got our food, it was cold. I returned the nachos because they were floppy as if they sat around for a while. Same with the pound and a half of beef fajitas, rice and beans. NEW BRAUNSFELS: me and my daughter walked in at 1:51 pm hoping to order brunch on Sat June 8th. Restaurant has no wait and was seated immediately. We left at 2:19 no one came to give us chips, take our drink order and or even our food order. I stopped the man who sat as he was picking up menus from another waitress in the same area and he told me he would find out who our server was. Well still no one came by and neither did he to give an update but I could see him talking to the hostess. We finally left and I told him that we were leaving since even after talking to him no one came and he says I m sorry about that and just didn t in no way try to help or make it right by offering a different section even. I just said is that all you got to say and walked out. So. No brunch no service and no help at all. This was a first for us at Lupes and I m not sure I will be back to this one again any time soon.

The dip for the chips had pork chunks in it. This is the first time ever that a restaurant offered me the dip having meat. The waitress told us that its not there accidentally, but the pork is one of the ingredients of the dip. Its audacious of the restaurant to assume that everyone consumes meat. Huge turn-off. Never visiting again. As for the taste, the main course Poblano Chicken and even the chips, both tasted mediocre at best.

Love the food here! But anytime I order online it always takes WAY longer than the scheduled pick up time. This morning I placed an order in at 8:30 with an estimated pick up at 9:30. We waited over an hour for our food. When it arrived, the potatoes and beans were cold for everyone in our party. When I mentioned this to the server, the replacement was microwaved, chewy potatoes. The kitchen staff refused to make my husband a bean and cheese burrito. He had to order a side of beans, a side of cheese, and a tortilla and make it himself. We then asked if they would make him flautas with flour tortillas instead of corn, and again the kitchen refused. San Antonio Lupe Tortilla would happily make these items. The only positive was the server was fantastic. I rated a 1 star for service because of the kitchen. My family and I will not return to this location.

We had the barrbacoa tacos and the chicken flautas. My husband said the taco shells were not traditional corn tortillas, but a soft doughy shell. Not his favorite. We both liked the flautas. As long-time Lupe Tortilla ambassadors, we stopped in to experience this location for the first time this past weekend and were incredibly impressed with the teams efforts here, especially Coreys! He is the best server weve had in as long as we can remember! After we were seated a couple of our friends ended up joining us and they were equally as impressed! We very much look forward to coming back and will certainly be requesting him as our server, he is crushing it.

I got the beef fajita plate. It was honestly the best fajita I have had. My wife got beef enchiladas with queso on top and they were just as good. Great service, highly recommend!

This has got to be one of our favorite dinner places. The Carne Asada is my go to, but everything tastes pretty amazing. Definitely recommend just about everything in the menu. Make sure you get in line online, there s always usually a long wait. But very worth it.

Best Damn Beef Fajitas around! Second place is Pappasitos Cantina. My Third place is Rosas Cafe (Austin). Beef Faitas came with a Roasted Red Chile and Poblano Pepper as well as Grilled or Sauteed Onions. The Borracho Beans are very good... They used to be excellent, but have gone a notch down over the years. Love their Roasted Corn which has Jalapeno Tarter Sauce drenched over it. I know what you are thinking... I felt the same way but it works. Love their oversized thin tortillas! Chips and Salsa are above average... Nowhere near Garcia Mexican Restaurant Chips. Drinks up to par. Just a great place to eat. Service is almost always perfect! Big Henry Approved!

Asked for food ( grandioso)to be well done and came medium well and came bloody . Returned it for a quick reheat and came out looking terrible, looked raw instead of redoing it fresh Lady manager didn t help at all and looked frustrated because we questioned food. Customer service went down hill after that . No refills or anyone asking about food again over all Customer Service was horrible.
