Food was good but even for a small eater my portion was small. Bailey at front desk was HORRIBLE. thanks to her we will never come back. She was in a hurry to close & get out of there, in 5 minutes she reminded me they were closing in 50 minutes. She seemed pissed we were in there trying to order. Atmosphere is blah. No table service.

Nice place with fresh, tasty smoothies. The only thing I didnt like was the use of plastic utensils...not great for a place about being natural and healthy. If you wash plates, then you can wash utensils and do your part to help the planet.

Love the food here! They have so many healthy options and if your lactose intolerant like me the staff is super helpful for finding options that worked for my dietary needs. The Kiss smoothie with strawberries and pineapple and coconut milk is delicious and the roasted Cali flower soup was delicious as well as the BLT sandwich. I highly recommend if your looking for a cute quiet place for lunch or a snack if your in the area. I keep coming back cause the staff are friendly, helpful, it s affordable, and delicious. We ve been customers for many many years & disappointed in the last 3 visits. Portions have been greatly reduced, actually leaving still hungry was not why we came. Forget about arriving at an hour before close they act like you are a major inconvenience, yes an hour. Won t be back.

Used to love to come here for lunch with co workers. I came today to wait 20 plus minutes for 2 sandwiches. I ordered before coming to pick up. To get this sad sandwich with no kind of meat and pay $30 plus. Its not worth it at all, promise this was never like this before. Dont know whats happening but will not come back again. Used to have more meat now its a rip off. Im heartbroken as I loved there food.

Went here for lunch while visiting my mom, and loved it! We were looking for fresh, healthy options & lucked out Set in a charming area called Gruene Lake Village, this spot really adds to the Hallmark-movie-vibes of the surrounding community. Having grown up in New Braunfels, it s nice to return and see a few sweet spots like Naturally Cafe The staff was amazingly kind & laidback, which is always a plus! The staff warned that they don t really make any effort to avoid cross-contamination. That is bad form, since they advertise gluten free options (crustless quiche, gf bread for sandwiches). The sandwich was terrible- cold, thick, crumbly GF bread about 3x5 or 6 inches, so it is very small. It was also Flavorless and dry. I asked if they could toast or at least warm the bread without cross-contamination, and they said no. If they invested $15. in a panini press that was dedicated GF, perhaps their GF sandwiches would be edible. The side was 3 thinnish cucumber slices and 4 tiny baby carrots (the ones that are chemically rounded). I recommend you avoid this restaurant if you are gluten free. No real options that are palatable. Maybe their crustless quiche is okay, but certainly not their sandwiches. They really should not even advertise GF bread if they cannot make a decent sandwich with it. Also, they forgot to put the included avocado on my sandwich, so I had to ask for that. Even then, the sandwich was of inferior quality. It was only edible since I was so hungry. Never again will I go there.

Initially was interested in having a dine in experience with this restaurant but after the counter attendant was unnecessarily rude, I decided to take it to go. The food was delicious but it did not match the price point. The disclaimer by the counter mentions that food is made fresh to order that causes a delay in receiving the item, but for what was ordered, it did not require to have a 15-20minute lag. I was actually excited to try the place because it is one of the few places in NB that offers fresh, vegan options but the girl behind the counter was so rude and condescending that it just affected my experience enough to chose never to go the establishment again. The items are not proprietary in any way that it would preclude me from making the exact items myself. Based on the reviews I have read about the establishment, they are repeat offenders in being rude to customers. And I am certain, I did not provide any reason for the worker to treat me as hoggishly as she did. Buy your fresh ingredients. a panini press and a juicer and save your money

amazing food and super inclusive for dietary restrictions! gluten free bread for no added cost and crustless quiche:) had the chicken and bacon sandwich with veggies on gf bread, which is pictured. also got a kiss me smoothie which was lovely as an appetizer. family got a pick two with the vegetarian sandwich on gf bread and the spinach quiche, and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. everything was very filling and enjoyable. only qualm is that the food takes a very long time to come out. no hate to small businesses and cafes, it just would ve been nice to know the wait was going to be at least thirty minutes. the vibe of the place was great though with nice outdoor seating, so if you have some time on your hands, order to eat and sit to chill! to-go smoothies and juices seem to be quick as an option as well.

Excellent lunch spot with tasty choices on the menu. My vegetarian panini with hummus was very flavorful as was the quinoa salad. Loved the apples and balsamic vinaigrette! Good heavens this place is great!!!!! Not a crumb left on my plate. I got the pick two with a spinach and tomato quiche and the grilled cheese. WOW!! I was in town from 30 minutes north for something and we found this place to eat while we were here. Great service and atmosphere, too. They had great vegan options for my friend, too. Had the spinach, tomato, goat cheese and pecan crustless quiche, along with the antioxidant bomb fresh pressed juice. The quiche was very flavorful & the raw tomato garnish just added to the flavor (wish I asked for more slices) The juice was thick but surprisingly tasty with cucumber, beat, carrot, pineapple, blueberry & raspberry. I have been meaning to try this cafe but couldn t quite get the timing right (open for lunch on weekdays only). It was worth the wait. Gruene offers bbq, chicken fried steak and so many other tasty Texan dishes that tend to expand the waste. Naturally cafe comes to the rescue offering colorful, healthy, and tasty dishes for vegans, carnivores, gluten sensitive, and other selective eaters. I enjoyed my chicken sandwich with vegan bacon on gluten free bread. The bread was surprisingly tasty (not dry or chewy as I ve found with some gluten free breads). I also sampled the antioxidant bomb and enjoyed - very balanced savory with a bit of sweet. The decor is bright and colorful. Every corner is oozing with joy and charm. I will be back, but I only wish they were open beyond lunch.

The food was good. A friend and I each had the tomato soup and agreed that it needed some cream or something. I had a salad she had half a sandwich and liked it. Third friend we were with got a sandwich and liked it. We all got smoothies of some sort and we all liked them. We all agreed that we would eat here again. Only thing I was disappointed in was all of the desserts seem to be made with nut flours and I am allergic to nuts. Lots of gluten-free choices though and thats a pleasant surprise.

Great vegan options and food tastes great. Portions sizes are disappointing though. Edit: I ordered a pasta salad and soup to go. Ive had the full chickpea salad sandwhich which was amazing but the side of pasta salad was literally maybe one or two bites worth. Still wish the portions were bigger but its still very worth it especially since there are so few vegan option in this area. Also the brownies are amazing just not a fan of coconut but thats a personal preference. Maybe if they had some un iced.

High quality food that tastes great. I have about 5 anaphylactic food allergies from wheat to sunflower oil, and the staff is helpful and i ve never had issues! There are very few places i can eat out. Thankful this is one of them. I think now i m considered a regular with how often i come here haha, my favorite thing to order is the chicken and bacon sandwich, quiche, and the brownies are DELICIOUS. Sometimes the food takes awhile when they get busy, but you don t have to wait to be seated like at most restaurants, so I d say the wait time evens out compared to other places where you have to wait and sit down to order. Knowing that they close at 3pm we drove up at 2:30pm, the door was locked. We waived and knocked and no one opened the door. There were customers sitting inside. We were only there to order take out, we ended up calling in the order since no one ever opened the door for us. The sandwich and pasta salad was delicious. This is my new favorite lunch spot! When I order a salad, I expect mixed greens, not iceberg lettuce and this place exceeded my expectations. I ordered the half sandwich half salad combo, and everything was fresh and delicious, the sandwich was perfectly stacked with a tantalizingly slightly spicy raspberry chipotle spread; the salad was a perfect mix of greens, cucumbers, carrots, and bite-size avocado. I hat the Torta in a wrap with the quinoa salad and it was DELICIOUS!! Everything tasted super fresh plus the people were so nice and polite. It came out out super quick. Vegan butternut squash with chipotle SOUP! . Coulda murdered a brew but no hot tea here. I will return when next in Gruene. Update. I just inhaled my soup and sandwich in my car as I was sooo hungry. At first, I was skeptical about this place, due to the portions looking rather small and previous reviews. But after taking time to consider my options, I decided to order from this location. The time it took for them to prepare my food and for the driver( I ordered from favor) was reasonable. The food did look rather small, but let me tell you that the food was SENSATIONAL. I was surprised on how filling the food was and how rich and deep the flavor was. I would definitely recommend this place again!

Absolutely love the food but if you want good/fast service this is not the place to go . I have been coming here every week for the past few month and it seems unless the owner is there the staff is messing around and not professional. I waited 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches today. When I finally asked how much longer the staff member asked my name and then realized he had been handed it 10 minutes ago and just left it sitting there. I love the food, it is always delicious but can t afford to wait 45 minutes for a sandwich.

Drove out of my way to come to Naturally Cafe, well worth it. My wife had the Mariposa salad and the mixed greens were noticeably super fresh. They were not shy with the cranberries, goat cheese, candid almonds and balsamic vinaigrette. The presentation matched the taste, very good. Naturally is my favorite place to eat in New Braunfels. It s number one for being super tasty, and for also leaving me feeling great afterwards. The food is so good. My wife gets the turkey club and I get the vegetarian sandwich. I love meat -the vegetarian sandwich is just that good. The owners are kind and approachable. They take a lot of pride in their business which always makes me feel confident in the quality of this establishment. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely amazing!!! Im pretty sure I had a foodgasm. The quiche with the ham and green peppers had the perfect zing and that salad with its goat cheese and avocado together, out of this world. Wish I had gone ahead and gotten the peach mint kombucha with it to perfectly round out the flavors.

Atmosphere: Funky, colorful, happy, clean and relaxed. Tucked away from the noise and chaos in Gruene. Service: Slow on this visit, but it was close to closing time. Food: Great presentation, sandwiches are served on pressed 8 grain bread. Chicken salad is tasty, but Im not a huge fan of cranberries. Mom had chicken, bacon, avocado and loved it. Everything is fresh and delicious. Pricing: $27 for 2 sandwiches, 1 bag of chips, and drinks

Bring cash if you love small businesses!! Really enjoyed the grilled sandwich. Also got a salad that I couldnt finish but it kept well in the cooler and made a great fresh dinner when we made it back to Dallas. Small store front but parking was not a problem and the restaurant was clean and bright. With the cutest furbabies photos on the wall.

The food is waay over 5 star rating, it is beyond delicious. I cannot get enough of it! However, the only down side to Naturally is the wait times to order and get your food. We as an office usually call in our orders and just go pick them up, but even after calling them in 30-45min prior we still have to wait about an additional 10-15minutes. The wait times have not kept me away because like I said the food is out of this world!!!!

Worst Customer service in Town. Waited 35 min. for the Lunch special. Had to go ask at the sells counter, where I got told she will check on it, but when I approached the counter she already knew why I came up and half rolled her eyes. How about approaching the customer ? sorry we are running behind, can I offer you a drink or a salad instead? ( I had ordered soup and quiche). She came back outside after 3 min. to tell me they out of soup and making new soup ( keep in mind its lunch time and they should have more soup on hand if its a lunch special ) . I should get my dish soon. Additional 15 min went by, and another service employee comes out with the dish . I asked if she had silverware, she said no, its inside. No offer to bring it. I was not the only costumer waiting over 35 min. next to me where two ladies waiting on salads !!! Salads. Food was good , portion small. Management needs to school on customer service, and a smile can take you long ways.

It was my first time coming here and I got the Torta sandwich and it was DELICIOUS! The juice was also really good and fresh. The place is so bright and relaxing with adorable pictures of dogs all over the walls. I will be coming back for sure!

I was kind of stand-offish to try this place because of their limited vegan options, but boy am I glad I went! It was amazing! Great sandwich, great smoothie, friendly staff, clean restaurant, plus a convenient location. My boyfriend s favorite sandwich shop(Ord s) closed a year ago, and when he took his first bite he looked at me and said it taste like Ord s. Needless to say, we will go back

Great, friendly, clean, healthy, delicious, everything you could want in a small locally owned cafe. I came in morning so being first in was quick service. They have an actual changing table in the restroom and cute book corner. Food was awesome and love the vegan and gluten free options. Most places just have 1 or 2 options but not this place. Great people too. I travel in from Kyle and I ll definitely be adding this to my we have to stop while we re here places. The sandwich Torta was awesome! Can t wait to try a smoothie that I can trust the ingredients on :)

Fresh and healthy drinks to start the day. Pictured -from left to right- is the Parrot Juice, Dressy Lady, and Sweet Green. The drinks were on the expensive side, I wouldn t come here all the time because of that. But it s a cute small business, they have great customer service, and the inside of the building is clean and inviting. My kids also loved their drinks (definitely a plus!). They also have delicious sandwiches (also expensive lol). All in all, it was a great visit!

PLEASE TRY THIS AMAZING CAFÉ. Its located in Gruene Lake Village, very close to the Gruene Historic District. I first discovered this awesome restaurant when in the area. As I passed by the open back door, I was impressed with the almost immaculate back kitchen prep area. The front-of-house is equally impressive; again, extremely clean and inviting. A sampling of menu items includes sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads, house specialty quiches and smoothies. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and all-around delicious; incorporating locally-grown ingredients whenever possible. This casual restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated. The owners and their staff are completely customer-oriented, providing excellent service and attention. PET LOVERS: Its also PET FRIENDLY with outdoor seating and service. I like to recommend superior local restaurants that appreciate customers. If you live in or visit the Gruene area, you should definitely try this wonderful restaurant.
