Certus title closed on my home back in 2021, I was supposed to write this review along time ago I just forgot. This title company was rude and negligent when signing docs at closing. They are very selective on who they choose to help. I would not recommend this title company TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

I Had an offer submitted on a property that fell through at the last minute, unfortunately, when I received my earnest money back it was in the same form of money orders I was asked to submit. As we all know money orders made out to others cant be returned so easily nor deposited to my account business or personal so we are out of earnest money for 45 to 60 day till its processed through snail mail. I tried reasoning with Alex and she was just so resilient to even hear me out or try and offer a viable solution. Have used tittle companies in the past and never had these issues.

I love working with this title company! Most title companies do the very minimum as far as not even ordering survey or home warranty. Not all title companies are the same so make sure you do your research. I have been using them for so long now I stopped counting how many transactions we actually have done together.

Its been a while, so I cant remember everyones names. The young lady at the front desk was very polite and professional, made sure I was well taken care of, the wait time was almost none, the closing was quick and easy, the young lady doing the closing was well prepared and knowledgeable. Everyone involved was pleasant to work with.

Missy is a boss lady! She worked til after 6-7pm to make sure we would close on time. She even came to my wifes workplace so that we could both sign all of our closing documents. Missy definitely went above and beyond for us. You are doing yourself a disservice if you arent using Missy!

The closing went fine but I just wish there wasn t as many typos as there were. My husband has two last names and they often omitted one of them in the legal documents. There was also a typo in the master settlement with my first name, as well as a typo to my husband s email address when sending the mobile closing documents which ended up getting sent to a third party. I don t really feel all that comfortable that it was sent out to someone we didn t know (the master settlement and closing docs). I just wish they were more thorough and more secure with sensitive information.

I wish Certus Title could handle all of my closings! They are professional, quick, and know exactly what they are doing. They take all the potential tangles out of complicated transactions. Dont let the newness of their boutique firm fool you. Between everyone there, they have decades of experience. From start to finish, they make closing a breeze. They are my favorite!!!
