The salad was great, pizza just ok but went in shortly after 5 pm and they looked put out to give us a table since basically the entire place was empty but had reserved signs everywhere. We were sat but told we would have to leave by 630. Didnt feel like they wanted our business.

I loved this placed 09/22 the DJ kicked my boy friend out because he requested a song and didn t tip him. So unprofessional and all 15 of us left. The staff said they had to listen but really ruined our experience hopefully this never happen to anyone won t come again. You shouldn t either.

It smells like a dirty, wet towel in there. Probably, because it turns into a club after 9 p.m. and a bunch of drunks spill their drinks everywhere. The floor was so sticky. Definitely not the cleanest place to have a party!

Incredibly disappointing. We were looking for somewhere to do a quick bowling game and saw that they were open until 10PM. Their website states that last games start an hour before close. We walked in at 8:39PM and were told by the host we likely could not bowl but that we could ask at the bowling booth. We walked up only to find an employee reading a book that did not see us for an uncomfortable amount of time and then tell us that they weren t in charge of bowling and had to ask. Another employee came up and simply shook his head and stated they stopped at 8:30PM with no apologies. Their website states: Our goal is to help you create memorable experiences with friends and family under one roof and I suppose they achieved that as we certainly won t forget this experience.

Bartender was amazing. However, we came w family and kids, the games had 2 working only and in a small area. 2 lanes, 1 hour, and 2 shoes were 110 bucks, not sure how that added up. The bowling broke more times than we could count. Who designed having pins attached to string or wire should go hide in a corner. They kept getting tangled, balls not returning, etc. Food was eh, the appetizers were amazing but anything else wasnt good.

Seemed like a college crowd. Felt a bit old to be there. Still a great place, nice setup. Surprised to see uniformed security guards but thats not a bad thing. Be prepared to circle for parking or just park in the lot across the street for $16.

This place is great ..if your WHITE. if your Hispanic/Mexican like me you ll probably get ignored or burnt food. I had to flag down someone to order food at the bowling area and everyone else was getting served waters and everything. The food came and it was all burnt and I asked the waiter to close me out and he walked by me empty handed completely ignored me and I told him uh gee thanks. So I had to flag a random waitress girl and I told her that the waiter guy was ignoring us. So for ignoring and burnt food I didn t leave a tip screw him. sorry I m NOT WHITE jerk. So if your Hispanic Don t waste your time here or if you really want to go make sure you go with a group of RICH WHITE people.

I was super excited to come here since I had heard great things about it from friends and family. We reserved two lanes for a friend s birthday and the worker helping us had the worst attitude. Our lane kept getting jammed, the pins weren t resetting, our balls weren t coming back up. Every time it happened, she was super frustrated with us and got snappy as if it was our fault. It took us forever to get drinks, so we would just go to Pour Haus to get drinks and come back. All of us agreed we would never come back here. Worst customer service.

Came for a b-day dinner and celebration. First time going. Found it to be loud (which is fine) just not really expecting to have yelling conversations with people. Setup was tight, but we made it work. Tables were on wheels so they kept moving away from people as they were trying to eat. Do not go here for the food. We had 18 people and every person had different dishes and no one liked their food. I don t think we ll be back unless someone else books an event. Even with that I d still suggest a different location. Overall, not a bad place. There s just so much better within walking distance.

Finally when he was being instructed to get us another beer, we asked why he ignored us earlier and he said hes not allowed to serve (and now he can?) but he didnt bother to alert anyone to help either. Bartenders are rude. You stand at bar for 10 or more minutes and the bartender has a friend come up and they immediately help them and when you bring it to their attention they claim you are yelling at them. Never mind the loud music that you have to yell over, but because the bartender is wrong and you have been drinking so you are the one in the wrong and guess who goes to jail.

We are new in town and looking for a happy hour place. We read on their website about the happy hour specials and decided to give this place a try. (There were 4 specialty drinks listed for $6 each and 3 apps also for $6 each) When we asked about these specials we were told that the website is in the process of being updated and that none of these are actually valid. The menu is very limited, and 3 of us ended up ordering chicken sandwiches, which were ok but nothing special. The Dirty Burger was just ok also. Tried to order the chicken and beignets, but they were out of beignets. The regular fries and tots were good. Sweet potato fries were barely warm. The atmosphere was good and our server was really good. Unfortunately, this is not our new happy hour place and we will most likely not be returning.

Great snacks and bar foods. Awesome venue and if you want, you can go bowling! Great daily cocktail specials as well. Kid-friendliness: Its not bad for the kiddos earlier in the day/evening. Would not recommend kids past 6-7ish. I have seen some cool kid parties (bowling mostly) on Saturday mid afternoon. You can have them bring out pizzas and sodas and let them go to town while you can monitor closely from the bar while having a nice cocktail to deal .

We were doing some Christmas shopping this weekend and picked Downtown Social as our new place to try. The menu looked great, as were the reviews. The place is big and has a lot to offer even before you get to the food. Video games, bowling, and lots of TVs. We all decided on a burger of sorts with all the side options. The food seemed to take a bit to come out but looked great when it arrived. One of the questions they ask when you order your burger is how would you like it cooked. All three of us answered the same way. We want it done but not burnt or overcooked. With that being said, here we go. All three burgers came out overcooked and burnt. I could taste nothing but it being burnt. We were hungry, so we didnt complain to the waitress, and it had taken a while to get our food. I wish I could say the sides made up for the burnt burgers. They did not. They tasted like old grease and were cold. Unfortunately, our experience here wasnt one to make us want to come back anytime soon.

All was great until it wasn t. When you attend a bar, sports or other, on an NFL football night THE last thing you want to have happen is the game or a game interrupted by the hostess changing music. First question, why are the two things tied together!? Last question, if the music playing fit the bar atmosphere WHY!? However, this would solidify why I generally stay home during NFL season. Less likely to offend folks with excessive cursing and having the game interrupted by folks who have zero interest in the game/games.

Why is your establishment targeting certain people ? Y all s security have big egos and think they can abuse their power by kicking people out for no reason. I was literally in line waiting my turn to get served when I was confronted by a sweaty and heavy-set security guy informing me I need to leave. When asked why I am getting kicked out, he couldn t give me an answer. I was not at all being unruly nor was I heavily intoxicated. I just got there and was simply waiting in line. It s a cool spot to hang out with friends if you don t want a complete bar setting. There are games and a bowling alley. Its all what you make it. Was there for an event so it was great! However, a lot of their games are out of order and broken so only one skee-ball, no pool, one bowling lane out of order, another bumpers inoperable. It would be great if they could fix some of those things to be more kid friendly. Also maybe an ATM on site for the games. First time there and will go back for sure just hoping more things are operable. If I went just to hang out with my kids it wouldve been less exciting for them. Their wings are delicious!

BEST Americano food with a fantastic atmosphere!!! This is our favorite place to eat out. We love to bowl and play video games too. This is NBs only family fun center. However, its also the greatest place to go in town. Its very cold inside and I appreciate that sooo much on these 100°+ days!!! Staff is always friendly and we love the brussel sprouts, fries, cheesecurds, pizzas, and all the drinks too. Dont miss out!! Parking: Parking available all around the building. interesting location to do some indoor day drinking downtown and bowl. Food is OK, full bar available for some slightly overpriced booze. The building and being attacked to the Pour Haus itself are its biggest draw (to me). The building was a Chevy dealership in the early 80s, then an antique store, a childrens museum and something else that slips my mind. The staff is friendly and smiling. Bowling lanes are available, but few in number. Advance reservations might be helpful. They rent by the hour, when time is up, its UP. You might not be able to complete your game unless its not busy, if you request more time (given to our huge group for two minutes to finish for the comeptetive folks in the 9th frame) People seem to love this place, Ill continue meeting friends here when invited, but Ill go directly to bowling alley to bowl, the food is better and the lanes are better maintained.

Very fun place for a party and the atmosphere was very live. Customer service was a tad slow but always good. First timer at this great spot downtown New Braunfels! I loved it! Bowling, private events, a patio, and I was told you could take your food to the popular bar nextdoor! Fun place, music not too loud. Our server was very friendly and attentive. My foid was good, too! Good portion sizes for a big eater like me. Prices were average. $12 for a burger meal. I definitely wanna return and spend more time there. Oh yeah and they have a stage for bands to play, too! Parking: There seemed to be an empty lot next to it that was changing to park. Worst place to go ever. Don t waste your money. I went with my boyfriend on St. Patrick s Day and it was so packed my phone got stolen and then the bouncer said I had too much to drink and kicked me out. I told him I wasn t leaving without my phone and he threatened to call the police. So I left when I got home I tracked my phone with find my iPhone and someone had surprisingly stolen it. This isn t the first time their bouncer has been rude. We quit coming here for about a year because of their bouncers, thought we would give it another shot and had a horrible night. We also ordered food to go and it was terrible very disappointing this time will be our last. There are plenty of cooler places to drink and hangout like the Rooftop Terrace in Creekside. That s the best place to go and their food is amazing it never disappoints. We will never be back to social.

Downtown social is a gem . Have enjoyed going here over the past few years for dinner or a quick drink. Recently I went to Downtown Social for a small event and have to say it is a great venue Great service, food, and atmosphere. Great place, good food, way too loud! In the back corner and had to yell at the person next to me for 2 hrs. Wè Got kicked out after racking up over $2k tab. Management is horrible. Lady just got on shift and was over the top horrific. Food

We went there last night for a date night. We wanted a quiet but fun dinner. We have been here years ago & the menu has gone down hill & so has the kitchen staff apparently. There were also a whole lot of kids RUNNING everywhere. I felt bad for the hostess as she was playing babysitter & cattle herder all night. The parents were on the other side of the building & drinking, they didn t seem to care that their kids were jumping on furniture. I would have been fine with that as that s not the restaurants responsibility, also I was just tired from momming all day I didn t want to have to yell at kids to calm down. Then my food which I thought was a simple order of bread knots for appetizer, BURNT. The waitress did offer to remake them but it was once they were mostly all eaten & we were full of burnt bread. Something to take note of before you take the food to customers. Then I ordered the Brussels sprout salad, it came completely burnt, with no bacon, hardly any cheese if any. The fried egg was over VERY EASY with the white part still runny. Even the grilled chicken was charred & burnt. Very unappetizing & made me feel worse than when I walked in. I ordered a kids chicken strip to just be safe after that & get something in my stomach. The whole time I saw the manager sitting at a table on her laptop. Never came to check on us, never offered anything but taking off the burnt food from our bill. I m not happy & will never be back. The kitchen staff looked like a bunch of teens at a party, spending more time dancing & playing then paying attention to cooking the food.

A Saturday night. Seated at 7:45. Ordered a rare burger and got it well done, and nothing else on the plate. Busser who promised to bring the fries didnt for 20 minutes and the waitress didnt come back in that time. After we finished eating we didnt get out check for an hour. Server spent a lot of time at other tables. Seems that because we were 4 adults and 7 kids she didnt pay as much attention to us. (No alcohol so smaller tip?). I can only guess.

Had my company Christmas party here. The atmosphere was amazing and my employees had a blast. I can t for the life of me remember our waiters name but he did an amazing job. I tipped him well and so did my crew. They all had a blast even though the lanes were booked all night for another party. Honestly I would have liked to bowl cause that s what my crew wanted to do. Parties should only be able to reserve a few lanes and not all of them. Either way though a successful night. Thank y all very much and we look forward to possibly booking another party.
