I called in and ordered two potato egg breakfast tacos without looking at the menu and came out with a $7.50 bill. I didn t even get a drink. They weren t even large tacos. They were pretty good but the price was way too much in my opinion. I understand inflation $3.50 a taco for no meat? Seems a bit excessive to me.

Recently had breakfast tacos here they were excellent and potato and egg bacon and cheese and then some fajita tacos they were also excellent and just had green chicken enchiladas and loaded nachos that were quite good recommend you try!!

I paid $3.25 for fries that have not even been cooked! The centers are HARD and not warm. A hole in the wall place that looks as terrible as this one, can sometimes have the absolute BEST food. But not this one. They only have drive thru. I believe so they dont have to hear anything about how bad it is! Parking: They dont need parking. Its drive thru only.

3.5 stars. First time trying this place. Ordered to go through Uber, so can t comment on the service. Food looked very appealing. Carne asada nachos were good and HUGE order. My daughter and I shared and barely put a dent in it. Chips left a little to be desired, as they didn t taste fresh at all (also ordered chips and queso- so had them stand alone as well). Queso was good, I ve had better, I ve had worst. Chicken quesadillas had decent flavor but I ordered them for my kids to split and unfortunately two bones were nearly swallowed. After that, I couldn t even bring myself to enjoy their leftovers bc I was too apprehensive to take a bite. I may give them another shot and try some different things as the prices are decent.

Yall. This is a hidden gem. Their breakfast tacos are so good and they have really good salsas (a lot of drive thru taco places dont) but the real star?? Their horchata. Its borderline addictive its so freaking good. Hands down the best I have ever had. The flavor is so good, not watered down at all and its the perfect level of sweetness. Run dont walk to go get some horchata!!! And maybe add a taco or two on the side :) Update 12/28/22: came for dinner tonight because after traveling for the holidays and needed something easy and delicious and el charro did not disappoint again! The service is always excellent, so friendly and kind and the food is so good. The surprise star tonight was the quesadilla- the chicken was so juicy and flavorful! Of course the horchata is still amazing

Visiting friends, from Southern California we are spoiled with phenomenal little Mexican restaurants. Unfortunately Texass Mexican food is not for me. This place is the closest to what we are used to. Breakfast tacos is new to me but very good. Salsas were spicy and great flavor. My kids are vegetarian and no problem with custom orders.

More like el chorro. This place is disgusting. I ordered carne guisada and they gave me pasty meat, thick and sticky. Not at all the consistency or texture it should be. It was like a can of dog food. The rice and beans were old and probably microwaved. I asked for a refund and they told me they don t do refunds. I can see why they so desperately clung to my $13. It was lunchtime rush and no one else was there. That should tell you everyone agrees, their food is gross. Maybe they had a good cook once upon a time but not anymore.

Tacos are small so you probably want 3 per person, however they were good. The bacon is by far the best at any Mexican restaurant Ive eaten at. I prefer the red hot sauce over the green, its spicier and tastes better. The tea was very good too. The girl behind the counter is cute and is worth the wait to see that pretty smile. Overall an A plus and I wouldnt of guessed that as I pass by it every day and never once stopped until today.

Always have good service until a young women answered the phone tonight taking my order called at 8:15pm shes like just to let you know we close in 20mins Im like okay I live 5 mins away, Long story short she was so annoyed while taking my order. The old Steaks To Go has turned Mexican and it s so delicious!! This place is the best! So far I have yet to be disappointed. Tacos are great for breakfast lunch specials are amazing and dinner choices as well! They are not greedy when it comes to portions like most To Go Orders are! Service is always Excellent and quick! Food here is nothing special. Rice was undercooked, refried beans taste like they were from a can and reheated that morning. Enchilada sauce does not taste homemade either, more like canned tomato sauce with not much for seasoning added. Chicken was tender and juicy but otherwise flavorless. My burrito was torn and leaked thru the bag it was even wrapped in foil! It was supposed to have guacamole on it; none not a pinch! The tortilla was not even good, I payed for my food then she handed me a large lemonade which I did not order, she obviously did not want to do the refund trans action so she offered me 2 cans of Coke Zero in which I agreed unfortunately they only had 1 can! The burgers and fries were gross. The patty was obviously a cheap frozen party and the fries werent even cooked all the way. Nothing was fresh. Even when I got mexican food it was way to salty and fatty. whenever they forgot to put eggs in my tacos they didnt wanna give me my money back or even make a re order. Their solution was to just give me a plate of eggs if I wanted to come by the next day. Not bad people but terrible service. Not going to eat here again. I recommend the Guadalajara. Its wayyy better and they wont try to skimp you on your food.
