NEVER NEVER NEVER go here unless you are dying and have no other option!!! Just to set foot in the door costs you $2000 for a facility fee plus the doctors charge and any other tests or xray charges you might incur. My daughter sat in a room for a couple hours because we were worried about a potential head injury. No tests were performed, no medicine was given, nothing other than a couple routine checks by the doctor to make sure she was ok. A couple months later we got a $2k bill from Methodist for the facility fee. And this was after we already paid a $300 doctor fee. This place is a scam! Go elsewhere!!!

Took my 2 year old daughter in for a head laceration and we were in and out in so quick! One staple to the back of the head and she barely cried! Nurses and Dr were so attentive! The registrar was virtual and easy to get through! Definitely will use this location again if needed!!

We have used this ER many times, generally our experience here has been very good but on our last visit my daughter was seen by Dr.Lee who was very rude and dismissive to both her and myself as if he were annoyed that we were there with our silly complaint. Even though the nursing staff at our pedeatric office advised us to go in just to be on the safe side. I will say the rest of the staff at methodist ER were very patient and courteous which is the only reason I gave 2 stars. However, if we have to see Dr Lee again we will not be returning to Methodist.

This place is my familys go-to in the case of emergencies. They get you in quickly and the staff is top-notch. I wish I could say the same for their hospitals. All the nurses and doctors Ive met are caring, empathetic, and really listen to you. They are not in a rush and want to make sure you understand any diagnoses and how to proceed after you return home. Also the facilities are very clean. Thanks to all of you at Methodist ER New Braunfels for your care over the years. You are the best!

AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU ARE LITERALLY DYING. It s not a clinic it is an EMERGENCY ROOM. Echo a lot of comments here on deceptive pricing. I got a bill for $3000+ for them giving me a flu test and 2 ibuprofen. They were not up front and got an itemized bill afterwards and it s literally $2000 to step in the door. Straight up feel so scammed.

Left in disbelief from this ER! Lack of compassion and care for someone in pain and having rectal bleeding! Provider Dr. Williams didnt even exam my loved one. Provider and female nurse were condescending, in a rush for who know what reason and didnt even treat my love one. My love one went in with rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, nausea and bloating. A UA was checked even after I told him her urine had been checked and culture then she was treated and on antibiotics for uti. CBC and CMP drawn everything came back normal and we were dismissed. Was told by provider the internal hemorrhoids will heal by themselves and no treatment needed. How did he even know it was hemorrhoids when he didnt even lay a finger on my loved one. Did no type of imaging either. Like seriously. I wouldnt even give this one a one star. Waste of time.

I would not recommend going to this ER. I am new to the area & 6 weeks pregnant and went in because I am having some bleeding. Dr. Aprile did an ultrasound which he stated he couldn t see anything because of bowel gas understandable. I asked for a transvaginal ultrasound which he stated he would have to call someone in for, he did not want to do it & it did not happen. When asked if they would be able to see if I had fluid surrounding my sac, he stated they wouldn t be able to see that; which I know is not true. I asked for my HCG levels to be tested, he stated he would have to see if they have the capabilities to do so & that it would pretty much be pointless for that to happen because it would have to be compared in two days to determine if I was having a miscarriage & if I was to come back to the ER they would not test them again. He did zero labs and went against everything I was asking to be done. I was in and out in about 30 - 45 minutes, total waste of time & lack of empathy from Dr. Aprile. If you can go somewhere else, I would recommend doing so.

I ll only go here if a family member is actively dying and there are no other options nearby. The ladies up front referred to their billing scheme as a racket after I showed them the ~$1000 of bills (~$4000 billed to insurance for about 10 minutes of nothing but giving me a prescription). Could have got same service at clinic for $100.

Stay away! With insurance and network an EKG and a bag of fluids cost me out of pocket $3,400. Ive had this exact same CPT code build elsewhere and my out-of-pocket was $500. Ive heard many other instances of upcharging and level billing by this facility!

I have been to this ER twice in 3 weeks and found the staff to be friendly and compassionate. On my first visit I was transferred to Methodist Stone Oak via ambulance and ended up having my gallbladder out. Staff made sure I was as comfortable as possible while there and the ambulance arrived promptly. I. My second visit (today) I am experiencing some superficial blood clots (as a result of my stay in the hospital and post surgical rest) and the staff was caring, got an ultrasound done, and even contacted my primary care doctor to get me an appointment sooner.

Unfortunately, the doctor and nurse here were too busy playing on their phones to take care of my ailing husband. Even after hed vomited a third time, they never came back to check on him and start an IV or do anything else for him. He just sat there for over an hour. I finally tracked down the nurse in the hallway and asked if she could give my husband something to stop the vomiting. It was kind of sad, really, that this nurse (and doctor) were not interested in doing their jobs. Im in customer service myself, and this is no way to treat your clients (or patients).

I went and saw Dr Mathew Strietz who is the rudest, meanest, most condescending doctor I have ever met. He treated us like ignorant trash, he rolled his eyes as I explained the situation my son has been going through with for over a year. When I told him my issue with him and that we wouldnt go to an ER for no reason, he said he must not be the professional opinion here and left never to return. I do not fight with people, or correct them. All I was doing was sharing my sons 104 degree situation to get him help and he looked like he couldnt be bothered to be dealing with us . I left there in tears. (There was a nurse there who was very very kind so this review is in no way in a reflection of her)

Wonderful facility! I went in with my 6 month old daughter and we where in the room within 5 minutes of us being there .. she was checked out by Dr. Thompson and he is wonderful ! Along with all the staff Pete , Michael , & the nurse( I didn t catch her name ) where amazing ! I am not from Texas so I was kind of iffy about it at first but overall I was satisfied with my visit. Hopefully I never have to come back with my babies to the ER but if for whatever reason I have to , this will definitely be my first option

We were seen right away, everything was clean, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We checked in at the front desk, but the registration process was done in the room virtually via a kiosk with a tablet. The handwritten thank you and get better card on the way out was a nice touch. Overall an exceptional experience where nobody really wants to be. If we do need to go again, this will be our place of choice.

I went to the ER with my 10 month old granddaughter who had an allergic reaction to a food component. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses and Dr. Burns were fantastic. They all took their time with us and ask lots of questions in order to determine why the baby had reacted in that way. They also patiently answered all of our questions and gave us great information and advice. I highly recommend this medical facility. The entire staff was amazing!
