I went to LoneStar ER when I was very sick. The staff took such good care of me! I was called back before even finishing my paperwork! I was taken to a private room and soon I had 3 people helping me. They took all my information and then the doctor came in. He patiently asked a few more questions, then told me what they were going to do. While they were running tests they hooked me up to an IV and made sure I was comfortable. I even had my own TV. When though my visit was 3+ hours I was kept comfortable. It was a wonderful experience. I felt well- cared for. I will never go anywhere else for emergency care.

This is ER is truly 5 Star worthy. I had come in recently for a flare-up. Heather at front deak is very friendly, Fritz my nurse is so professional and caring and Dr. Ortiz is so attentive, compassionate. The facility is so clean and I was taken in quick and did not have to wait long. Highly recommended this ER.

We ve had to go here a few times. Luckily, they ve all been great experiences. My son has had to get school physicals here. They were easy to schedule, were right on time and did a great job. My daughter also had to go for what we thought was a broken arm. All of the staff did a great job of helping make her calm down, and the dr was very caring and attentive. Everything with quick and painless!

Lone star 24 hour emergency is the BEST emergency room I have ever visited. When I arrived they got me my own private room right away. The staff was extremely attentive and they took excellent care of me. They were able to provide me all my testing very quickly and even brought me warm blankets to make me more comfortable. My family had a very inviting waiting room where there was free coffee, drinks and an assortment of snacks. I hope I don t have to visit here often but if I do need an emergency room this is where I m going. I would highly recommend them.

I came in to Lonestar 24 Hour ER with my grandson and was advised they do not take Medicaid but they were so gracious to offer me a free evaluation. I filled out some standard forms and they took him in quickly. I must commend the doctors and staff for their kindness, caring attention and going above and beyond!! They even offered my grandson a Gatorade to help with dehydration from so much vomiting. If you need urgent care, I highly recommend Lonestar!!

Went twice for Kidney stone pain and was admitted to the back both times before I could finish filling out the paper. Staff at the front desk was very kind. Nurses and medical staff were very attentive, considerate and knowledgeable. She gave me direct and clear instructions for check-in, she was also very patient with me as I had a lot of questions. She continuously asked if I needed any assistance. The staff is very friendly & understanding. Theres generally not much of a wait. The waiting area is clean and inviting, and youll find complimentary snacks and drinks available if there is a wait. The prices are clear. Edit* The prices are clear depending on who you talk to. They agree with ridiculousness and give you the run around when you pay cash. They dont want to tell you prices because theyd rather code your insurance. Additionally when you pay cash, youll get a bill for the amount they wouldve billed through insurance. Luckily there are other 24hrs that want cash pay business and will give you less run around.

This morning, I had to take my special needs young adult son to Lonestar ER. I chose them because I have used them before with great service. Today, all the staff was nothing but caring, patient & professional. The front desk person explained everything for the check in process & insurance wise. Once we were taken back, all the nurses & doctors were very kind, patient & professional explaining each thing that needed to be done to my son. They were also very understanding of my sons special needs & were accommodating. He had the nurses laughing despite him not feeling well. We were there for a few hours but it was a good experience. My son came home happy & this momma is relieved of the outcome.

I was blown away by this ER!!! Yes, blown away by an ER!!! This may sound crazy to some but this place is different than anything New Braunfels has ever had. A hospital that actually cares about how they treat their patients? What a concept.... Imagine, an incredibly clean hospital properly staffed with caring health care professionals who have a true sense of urgency and treat their patients with compassion. They even offer thoughtful little comforts usually only provided at aggressive luxury car dealerships. Everything about this place shocked the heck out of me. This is just a simple common sense blueprint of how people in a country as great as America deserve to be treated. The standards of our entire health care system here have been so low for so long. I woke up this morning wondering if it was all just a crazy psychedelic dream =) I checked and had photos to prove it was real. The bar has officially been raised. If we could give this facility and its staff 100 stars we would. Our Doctor, who was currently booked, recommended my Husband to be seen here regarding an ongoing stomach issue. A quick check in, with a very pleasant receptionist, and short wait time began with Nurse Lonestar Louie. Another pleasant staff member who took his time and gathered information. He was then seen by Dr. Bhatt. He was patient and listened to everything we had to say. He reassured us that it was nothing of immediate attention and gave him a plan to follow. His friendliness and professionalism went above and beyond and I can tell you the medical world needs a lot more doctors like Dr. Bhatt including his staff. Unfortunately, I ve had to visit this ER more than once. They are attentive, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. Dr Bryson went over everything he could to rule out any dangerous illnesses. He talked me through his whole care plan and made me comfortable. Thank you all for getting me back to my family to continue our Easter celebration.

Where do I began, I walk in to be seen for an ear infection. Have been to this location before for work related reasons (on duty fleet). Greeted by the receptionist and asked to Sign sketchy paperwork that will most likely lead to having an unpaid balance down the line (more on that later). Finally get called back by an over weight nurse whos breath was atrocious and not professional at all. Doc comes in for maybe 1 minute, aggressively sticks ear instrument into my already painful infected ear, tells me what I already know and walks out. Sad excuse for a Doctor I might add. Bad breath nurse comes back and hands me three sheets of paper and im out back in the lobby in no more than 5 min. Get to the counter and a shady billing agent is telling me my balance is $225 for today s 5 min visit. What the hell, right? Apparently i had an unpaid balance from my last visit which wasnt any better. I pay the bill and my $100 co pay. I find out later i received no mail for outstanding unpaid bill and should not have paid the balance in question. Get the the pharmacy and it s another $81 for my ear drops! Never going back to this place again. What a scam they are pulling at this place! If you want to be charged $300 plus dollars or more this is the place for you. Rating: 0 stars service, 0 professionalism, 0 stars overall experience! Scam artists: 5 stars all the way.

I was there on 03/04, as soon as I walked in they acknowledged me and acted fast. ( I had a pretty bad cut in my finger ). Everyone was very friendly and professional. Doctor called two days later to check how I was doing, something I didn t expect and really appreciate. These place is great!

This facility which lets be honest, is not a place you want to go to, is the best ER Ive ever had to go to. Now that Im age challenged and may have to go more often Im so glad and thankful for this facility. I actually wish they could be my primary care because I feel like they listen, bring back research and spend more time than I get with my primary care giver! So trust me if you have to go to an ER and you have a choice, choose this one! Youll want to thank me later!
