First off it takes about 15 mins to get through 90% of the time. After you get to the window no worker is ever excited. You can tell they hate their job immensely. Fries are cold. They nickel and dime you over sauces. I don t want ketchup just one thing of blackened ranch. Cost an extra .39 per small container. Highway robbery and sub par service.

Very busy location. The service was good and we didnt have to wait too long. We got a shrimp tackle box with red beans and rice and a great biscuit, a spicy fish sandwich and a classic fish sandwich, and a strawberry biscuit. The shrimp seemed to have more breading than in the past but still ok. The fish sandwiches were very good and Id definitely go back for those again.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. The wait to is outrageous, you should not have to wait ten whole minutes at the speaker without even a Hello, We ll be right with you. Then when someone does come to the speaker for your order they re less than friendly. Even if the foods takes a while to make or an establishment is short staffed, good customer service is everything! It would make the waiting and overall experience so much better if the staff was friendly enough to say hello and thank you for waiting. Needless to say, the wait at the window was just as long if not longer.

It was one of the worst experiences Ive had at Popeyes. Did an online order to be picked up at the drive-thru window. Nobody answered, so I went inside where employees looked at me but did not speak to me. After 5 minutes, I told people coming in that I was sorry, but I believe they are closed. Miraculously, someone appeared from the back. However, he could not help due to a language barrier. Finally, the manager came from the back to help. This place just disappointed me on so many levels. I ll start by saying, that I am a big fan of Popeyes. The food is good and it s convenient for me to go by after work. Sometimes they re slow, but it s ok. I even understand orders getting messed up occasionally, but that hasn t happened much there. Last week I went through the drive thru and ordered 12 ghost pepper wings. I paid, got the box, and headed home. I got home opened the box and had 6 wings. Like I said, mistakes happen. I ll just call and I m sure they ll get this resolved in some way. Boy was I WRONG! I called and the phone rang and rang. I hung up waited a few minutes and called again. Same thing no answer. I decided that I d just go to their website and see if I could email someone so they could get back to me. Coupe of days passed and I realized that no one has ever gotten back to me, so I sent another message. At this point I will say that I m a little upset, not about the wings, but the fact that I can t get anyone to talk with me. Finally after the 3rd email, I get a response. It asked me to describe the issue, even though I had already put that in the 3 previous emails. It has now been 1day shot of a full week and I m still trying to get this resolved. This whole experience makes me feel that I m not valued as a customer. I can t contact the store and the customer service does not make resolving customer issues in a timely manner. Most likely, I will not be returning to this or any Popeyes locations.

I would not dine in. They are remodeling the inside ( which was absolutely necessary) So is not the environment that you want to eat in. It always seems like it needs to be cleaned. The food is good depending on what time of day you go. It is always hit and miss. Never consistent. sometimes I get hard biscuits and the dryest chicken and sometimes I dont. I always get sucky service and attitude. Even from the owners. There is a guy that works the front in street clothes and a beanie. Unprofessional but I still eat there. For the longest time the lot was total trash but they have seemed to be finally putting some money into it as I noticed that it has new paint and relocation of the dumpster. For the area, they could do better. But.... If you are craving that crunchy fake meat and warm butter biscuits give it a try, good luck

I am disappointed and frustrated with the fact that Popeyes always give wrong orders. Instead of chicken tenders I asked for then I just got was cheeseburger instead which I DONT like! Spicy chicken, umm no spiciness, Cajun sparkle not the same. Store could have used a good sweeping and mopping. Cajun fries, spices/herbs very sparkle. The chicken tenders and nuggets all tasted like the oil hadnt been changed in quite awhile. Was looking forward to the macaroni, but they screwed up and gave us cole slaw. If youve been at the location, you know its a hassle to get back to the store once youve pulled out of the drive thru. I just cut it as a loss and will not go here anymore. Edited to fox my time. I had said 2 minutes when it was 25. This was 6 months ago. Have been back since and did not experience such a long wait being first in line. Expect to be disappointed everytime you come here. I am! I am not easily annoyed and this place does it everytime. Most of it stems from the service and not the quality of food. Order is usually wrong or missing something. The wait is usually long whether the place is empty of filled. Currently at a 25 minute wait for my #2 combo at a non peak hour. They have been completely out of gravy, ranch, spicy strips, one dollar bills on previous visits...and one time CHICKEN. Just saw a guy infront of me get 4 dollars back in dimes because they have no extra change in the store. If my husband didnt like this place so much I would never ever come here. I am a local...to the tourists, save your vacation time and money and go somewhere else!

I used a coupon I received in a mailer, $5.49 for 3 piece chicken tenders with a biscuit, side and small drink. I decided to dine-in. The young woman who took my order was pleasant and I received my order quickly. The chicken (I chose spicy) was hot and good; my first time trying the Homestyle Mac & Cheese as my side - good flavor. The dining space had only one other couple so good choice of seats. This is the only Popeyes location in New Braunfels and its been here since I moved here 27 years ago. The building and very tight parking lot is overdue for a rehab/remodel. It serves as a pass-thru for the Wal-Mart next door, so that hinders backing up out of the few parking spots. I parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot and walked over to avoid that hassle.

Waited 20-25 minutes in Drive Thru got wrong sides and chicken was so old at least 2-3 hours I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY SERVED IT TO ME NEW BRAUNFELS FOOD DEPTWILL BE GETTING A CALL FROM ME ABOUT THIS. Manager very incompetent driving back to restaurant now for a refund

Arrived at 8:22pm and was told the lobby was closed. They had just allowed two people in no less than a minute before. Disrespectful staff told me that they closed at 8:22 just cause. No name tag on.

Employees were great and attentive. The food was OK, and a little under by Popeyes standards. White meat was VERY dry (too much heat lamp, i suspect). The location is terrible. Old outdated building. Its simply tired. And the drive-through is situated in such a way that if there are more than 4 or 5 cars in line, theyre going to be blocking the people who parked for dine-in. I suppose its worth coming here IF you can get fresh food and not block too many cars while waiting in the drive-through. Dont bother dining in.
